SITUATION:
The "Gite Les Anoures en Provence" is located on MOLLANS sur OUVEZE, charming village in the Drôme Provençale: it is ideally situated between VAISON LA ROMAINE and BUIS les BARONNIES at the foot of MONT VENTOUX, Laces of MONTMIRAIL ... and to sheltered from the mistral!

Sylvie and Olivier welcome you in a typical house in the heart of the village offering independent cottage in wooded private ground garden, with direct access to the river flowing gently in the garden: your private beach ....!
DESCRIPTION
The apartment is fully equipped, modern amenities (WiFi, etc ....) and can accommodate from 2 to 4 people (contact us if demand for additional bed for children).
It consists on the ground floor of a large kitchen-living room and a bathroom.
Upstairs a large bedroom-living room (double bed + sofa bed) with balconies, all facing south to the big trees of the garden and of course the river ....
A wooden bungalow-room for 2 people is available outside in the shade of large trees and the river (see photos).
This one is very appreciated by the independent children, but it is not suitable if they are too young (under 8 years old) .......
Note: This room is not available in Autumn and Winter.

In the garden you can have lunch in the shade of the century-old lime tree, refresh yourself in summer in "Finnish hot tub", and enjoy nature (birds, beaver, squirrels, frogs, fish, etc .....)
The environment is very calm and conducive to relaxation. Starting point for many walks and hikes, you will live here permanently free outside where everything is accessible on foot.

The Websites Mollans, Vaison and Buis are very well made and provide all relevant information of activities in the region.

Lovely house in a lively little town

Beautiful property with a large, lovely garden situated by a river. The house has a spacious bedroom upstairs and a hut near the river with two beds. The hut was pleasantly cool in the evening and the sound of the water was very soothing. Olivier and Sylvie were terrific hosts and very helpful. Sylvie’s beautiful ceramics added a personal artistic touch to the house. The town is very lively and the local bar a treat. Merci beaucoups!

Modern architectural charm in quiet Provence village

My husband and I stayed 5 nights in this atypically charming spot. We had wanted a dramatic shift from noisy city streets and this was perfect. It's quirky in that the entrance is from a tiny passageway. This leads into the lower level with a kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. A unique stairway leads to the spacious bedroom and "living room" on the top level, in a space with an exceptionally high ceiling. There are numerous interesting windows, all of which have covers if you want to block out the light (we didn't). Nobody will look in as there are only trees and nature in the large yard and garden that leads to the Ouveze river nearby. Unfortunately we had quite a bit of rain but our spirits were not dampened because the place has a unique charm. A few useful shops and restaurants are within a walkable distance in this remarkably quiet village. Larger offerings are available by car (Buis les Baronnies, Noyes) with amazing open markets on certain days. Vineyards are everywhere and fine wines are omnipresent and affordable. We are unlikely to return, simply because we like to have new experiences on each trip, but otherwise we have very fond memories of this lovely place. One note of caution: We learned that as 70 year olds, it's best for us to have our bedroom and bathroom on the same floor, and this is not the case here. For younger people, this should not be a concern. The hosts are delightful, giving information when it's requested, and speaking French with those who are eager to practice theirs. We believe their English is adequate, too, although we only experienced this in writing. A final note on the kitchen: it's great to have a clothes washer, but as with other places in Europe, the dryer is a rack that you use outside in the sun. Otherwise, the kitchen is small, but cute, and it has what you'll need even though it is nicely tucked away to keep the space tidy and adorable. This place really is a gem, especially if you like to be "off the beaten path."

Jardin de rêve au bord de la rivière.Maison de charme, ancienne, avec tout le nécessaire.Accueil parfait, avec un pot de confiture succulent.Prévoir l'accès par un chemin de terre, des marches et escalier pentu dans la maison. Nous avons pu garer nos vélos sans problème dans le jardin.Merci pour tout !

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette chaleureuse maison. Le jardin est très agréable et les enfants ont adoré leur cabane et l'accès privé à la rivière. Le village est charmant et les commerces sont à 2 pas. Olivier et Sylvie se sont montrés très accueillants et pleins de bons conseils. Nous recommandons vivement!

Petit Havre !!

Séjour reposant, hôtes très sympathiques, logement très agréable, bien équipé, on s'y sent bien. Magnifique jardin, aves la petite cabane sous les arbres et l'accès à la rivière pour se rafraîchir. Le village est très beau, le bar tabac sur la place organise des soirées et l'accueil est très chaleureux. Une alimentation et un boucherie pour faire quelques courses si besoin. De belles balades à faire aux alentours. Nous avons passé de très bons moments. A refaire ! Merci à Olivier et Sylvie

Ruhige und grüne Oase

Wir haben eine entspannte Woche im schönen Haus mit Garten und direktem Zugang zur Ouvèze verbracht. Perfekt mit Kind. Schön eingerichtetes Häuschen auf 2 Etagen. Zentrale Lage direkt im Dorf, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Danke, Sylvie und Olivier!

Schönes Feriendomizil mit liebenswürdigen Gastgebern

Wir verbrachten einen sehr schönen Urlaub! Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben - mitten im Ort, hübsch her- und vollständig eingerichtet und von der Größe her optimal für zwei Personen geeignet. Man kann nicht direkt vor die Tür fahren, aber es gibt ausreichende Möglichkeiten zum Be- und Entladen eines Autos sowie kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Das Dorf bietet Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den kleinen täglichen Bedarf und sogar zwei Bars. Die nächstgelegene Bar schließt bereits früh am Abend, wir nahmen nie so etwas wie störenden Lärm wahr. Auch an den Glockenturm, der tags und nachts die Zeit verkündet, hatten wir uns im Nu gewöhnt. Die Umgebung ist in jede Richtung ein Traum! Es bieten sich unzählige Wander- und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten und wenn man einfach ausruhen möchte, bietet sich der entzückende Garten dafür an. Sylvie und Olivier sind reizende und aufmerksame Gastgeber - Ihre Bekanntschaft zu machen, war uns eine Freude. Wir danken ihnen herzlich für einen wunderschönen Urlaub.

Das Highlight dieser gemütlichen Ferienwohnung in den verwinkelten Gassen von Mollans-sur-Ouvèze nahe der alten Brücke war für uns der wunderschöne Garten: Schatten unterm Lindenbaum, verschiedenste Blumen, Kräuter, Obst und Gemüse, viel Wiese mit Platz zum Spielen und Toben, ein Teich mit mutigen Fröschen und das Beste, der eigene Zugang zum Fluß, zur Abkühlung und zum Steinewerfen! Der Garten ist eine eigene Welt und bietet alles vom Sonnenfrühstück bis zum Sonnenuntergang inklusive Glühwürmchen.

Frankreich comme il faut

Die liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung ist perfekt für einen Erholungsurlaub. Der große schöne Garten lädt zum entspannten Müßiggang ein. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt bei Sylvie und Olivier, sie haben für alles gesorgt und waren immer für uns ansprechbar. Zum Bäcker, zum kleinen Supermarkt und zum Bioladen sind es nur ein paar Schritte. Trotzdem sind das Haus und der Garten wunderbar ruhig. Wir haben prima geschlafen und unseren Urlaub rundum genossen. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Die Wohnung wird sehr gut beschrieben, der Empfang und die Betreuung durch Olivier ist sehr freundlich, unkompliziert und hilfsbereit. Alle notwenigen Einkäufe lassen sich problemlos im Ort Mollans-sur-Ovèze erledigen. Besonders genossen haben wir den Garten. Wohlfühloase

Wir haben uns außerordentlich wohl gefühlt in Mollans-sur-Ouveze. Das Haus und der Garten sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und bieten alles, was ein entspannter Urlaub benötigt. Der kleine Bungalow im Garten war ein echtes Highlight für unsere Tochter, wo sie ihr eigenes Reich hatte. Sehr freundliche Vermieter, gute Kommunikation. Wir waren sehr begeistert!

Ein kleines Dorf voller Leben

Anfang September haben wir 2 entspannte Wochen im Ferienhaus von Sylvie und Olivier verbracht. Die Gastgeber haben uns herzlich empfangen und waren jederzeit ansprechbar, da sie eine Straße weiter wohnen. Die Küche ist ausreichend für 2 Personen bestückt, wir haben oft gekocht und im Garten unter der Linde gegessen. Wunderbar. Der Garten bis zum Fluss ist groß und man hat einen schönen Blick auf die alte Brücke. Dort ist auch die Dorfbar, das Lachen und Reden empfanden wir unten im abendlichen Garten als angenehm. Der Schlafraum mit seiner hohen Decke und Sofa ist sehr gemütlich. Der kleine Balkon ist nur zum Hinausschauen geeignet, aber nett. Von der Küche aus geht es in das Badezimmer mit großer Dusche. Alles einfach, aber sehr geschmackvoll und stimmig eingerichtet. Fünf Minuten zu den 2 Bäckern, zum Metzger oder in den kleinen Supermarkt, was will man mehr. Am Dorfeingang ein Restaurant, in den sehenswerten kleinen Dörfern der Umgebung noch mehr. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und würden wieder dort buchen.

Un cocon les pieds dans l’eau

Un gîte rénové avec beaucoup de goût qui permet un équilibre en tout, très bien équipé. L’Ouveze pour se rafraîchir en direct, le jardin très joliment aménagé avec un merveilleux tilleul pour se mettre à l’ombre et manger dispo toute la journée, le cœur de village et sa vie bien présente, les ballades au départ du village pour qui ne veut plus reprendre la voiture. Avec une semaine à 35 degrés en moyenne nous avons particulièrement apprécié la clim et la rivière. Les moustiques étaient plus présents cette semaine là du fait de la chaleur mais gérables avec les produits de protection adaptés. Olivier et Sylvie sont très accueillants et disponibles pour tout conseil. Un lieu à découvrir sans hésiter et beaucoup de sites et randos aux alentours.

Gite in provence

Hosts were invisible but very helpful. Beautiful garden with lovely cool river at end of garden for strolling and bathing. Perfect for a couple. Quaint village with Saturday market. Stunning scenery . Down side was there needed to be some comfy seating in kitchen not just upstairs in bedroom/lounge. Otherwise we had a perfect stay and did not want to leave.

A jewel in the Drome.

What a fantastic stay we had in this beautiful Provencal village,from walking in the hills and bathing in the beautiful river at the end of the lovely garden to simply relaxing under the shade of the Lime tree with a glass of excellent local organic wine. A wealth of wildlife to amaze any nature lovers and last but not least a wonderful warm welcome from our charming hosts Sylie and Olivier. We were sad to leave but refreshed and inspired by our stay.
