About this property

Centrally located studio

The studio is the full downstairs of our family home that has its own entrance. It has a queen bed and queen sleeper sofa with Direct TV and free WiFi. You are able to connect your personal entertainment accounts through an Apple TV. The kitchenette has a microwave, fridge/freezer and a Kuerig with tea, hot cocoa and plenty of coffee. Relax in the large outdoor yard that is private from neighbors and a great space to enjoy the Alaskan summer.

While we are respectful and work to be quiet, there is the potential for some noise from the upstairs. We ask for quiet times between 10 PM - 7 AM. Please contact us if your check in is after 10PM so we can accommodate your request. We also ask for no parties or continuous traffic in and out of the unit after 10PM. There is no smoking of any kind in the studio, which includes vaping or dope.

We are located in a quiet close-knit family neighborhood that is directly off the main road to many Mat-Su Valley attractions. Nearby attractions are the Colony House Museum, Alaska State Fairgrounds, Reindeer Farm, Transportation Museum, Iditarod Headquarters and numerous lakes and hiking trails.

Quiet, clean and great Price

We had a great experience here. It was a very quiet place with quick access to lots of hiking areas, restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and updated. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Kim had coffee, breakfast and snacks. It was super clean and nice and the little extras were a big plus. Due to the Alaskan long summers, the door could use a bit more of a blackout curtain. When its still light out until midnight, the space is not super dark. Although I did not use it, the BBQ and picnic tables were a great plus.

We rented this place for a weekend coming up from Fairbanks for a show in Anchorage. The location is very quiet and private, it felt like we were staying with family or friends. It’s the downstairs apartment of someone’s house but they have done an absolutely beautiful job with it. When we walked in there were fragrant lilacs blooming at the entrance. Our first impression was WOW! It was bigger than we expected!! The linens and towels were so soft and beautiful, the decor and furniture was fabulous. Our minication turned into the perfect romantic getaway. We felt very secure and appreciated our privacy in this studio as they send you a door code prior to your arrival. There was coffee and snacks left in the room. There were coffee huts and shopping nearby and only about 30-40 minutes from Anchorage. We really loved our stay here, the space is very beautiful, clean, and comfortable.

Perfect place near Palmer

This place was perfect. Much nicer than the hotels we considered in the area. The owner has created a great, comfortable space. She even provides treats and quick breakfast items. Beautiful location near the woods and easy to find. I'm happy we stayed here.

Very nice and comfortable studio

My three-year-old son and I stayed two nights here. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on! Everything was very clean and I really enjoyed our two nights here. The owner's son even left a couple cars for my son to play with which I felt was very sweet. If we are ever needing a place to stay in the area again I will be back.
