About this property

Villa with Private Pool near the Center and the Beach

This pleasant villa is set in a residential area 15 minutes' walk from Albufeira's Old Town and the beaches of Pescadores and Peneco.
Sleeps 4/6 people is ideal for families with children because the pool is all fenced around.
The villa consists of two floors, upstairs we have two bedrooms one with double bed the other with two single beds both equipped with air conditioning and full bathroom.
Downstairs we have the living room and dining room overlooking the pool and garden, the other bathroom and the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine, microwave, coffee maker and all the necessary utensils to prepare meals. . Outside we have the barbecue area and garden furniture.
Very close to the villa we have a small shopping center with supermarket, cafe and bar, laundry.
The bus and taxi stop is very close to the villa. Within 5 minutes' drive is Algarve Shopping da Guia where you will find a wide range of shops, restaurants and cinema.
Have fun at night in the city center, where there are a lot of world-renowned restaurants, terrace bars and dichothechops mostly with live music.
In the region there are many clean beaches of fine sand and crystal clear waters, and some of these are less than one and a half kilometers from the villa.
As it is located in a residential area, noise is not allowed after 22 hours.
Children are always welcome.

Wonderful!

The villa is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. The pool is a great size and the garden area is lovely. Maria the host was so welcoming and friendly and there was great communication throughout. The location is perfect - a short walk to supermarkets, 10 minutes downhill to the old town and is really peaceful. We had an amazing holiday at Maria’s lovely villa and would recommend it to anyone!

Loved the outdoor area with sun all day long. Enjoyed dip in pool. Villa had everything you could need including books. Books were essential as had forgotten my kindle. Villa within walking distance of old town, Aldi and Lidl. We also discovered within a few minutes walk Farm Village (bar and burgers) and A Cocheira a lovely portuguese family restaurant with impressive wine list. If walking got too much get the Uber App. Cars arrived so quickly it felt like you had your own personal chauffeur. Villa was good value for money and would recommend as a base for visiting the Algarve. Parking right outside.

Perfect holiday spot

We returned to the villa for a second year running & again had a fantastic family holiday. We couldn’t ask for better hosts, a beautiful, clean & spacious villa and fantastic outdoor spaces. The location is peaceful and quiet and is a 15 minute walk down to the old town.

Perfect location

We had a wonderful stay at this villa! The location was perfect—tucked away in a quiet area, yet close to everything we needed. The local owners were extremely welcoming and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the start.The highlight for our family was definitely the pool. It was spotless and well-maintained, and we especially appreciated the lockable safety gate, which gave us peace of mind with our little ones. The Wi-Fi worked really well too, which kept the kids happily entertained during our downtime.For convenience, there’s a handy local supermarket nearby, and bigger stores like Aldi and Lidl just a short drive away. We also enjoyed walks into the old town via the pedestrian red path accessible from the bottom of the hill—such a great way to explore the area!Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better place for our holiday. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and safe getaway!

Perfect base for a young family to explore the Algarve

We had a fantastic holiday staying at a clean, spacious and well-located property in a quiet area with two very helpful owners. There is a gated swimming pool for safety, plenty of shaded outdoor space and a mini-market a short walk away. I would strongly recommend this property (and the owners) without hesitation.

Lovely stay

Our holiday was very enjoyable. Maria and her husband Manuel were fabulous hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. The house was spotless and had everything we needed. The pool was lovely and well looked after. Overall great holiday and I’d go back in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone.

Amazing holiday accommodation!

We had an amazing stay at the villa! The booking, communication, check in, stay & check out was stress free and easy. The hosts are amazing, helpful & friendly. The Villa is exactly as described & was immaculate inside & out. It is a 15 minute walk to the old town, 2 minutes to supermarket at the bottom of the road and if needed only a 4 euro Uber ride home from town. We would definitely recommend & stay again! Thanks for a lovely holiday!

Perfect rental

We really enjoyed staying at Maria’s rental. Perfectly located - about 1 mile from the main restaurants in the old town. Very easy walk into town and we only got an Uber home twice as the kids (13 & 10) were quite happy to walk back most nights. The rental was very clean and well equipped, a parasol was even there for us to use at the beach which was really helpful. The kids really enjoyed the pool! I would definitely recommend this rental.

Perfect house in a perfect location

Our stay at Maria’s was fantastic. Great communication, seamless check in and check out. The house itself is immaculately clean and extremely well equipped- Maria has thought of everything. It’s very child friendly, there is a locked gate and fence to the pool and it has a shallow end that my 6 year old can stand up. The location feels very safe and family oriented and about 10 min walk to oldtown and 8 min walk to lidl. We would definitely recommend this house and we are looking forward to going back.

Lovely week and a lovely host

All the way through from the initial booking to leaving the villa for home Maria could not have made the experience any easier, better or more relaxing. The villa was ideally situated, was very clean and exactly what we were looking for. Great for supermarkets and close to old town and beaches. Maria was very helpful and we knew if we needed her she was always available. Me and my family had a lovely week and cannot recommend the villa enough.

Perfect villa

We had an amazing holiday at this villa. The hosts were accommodating, helpful and very friendly. We were made to feel very welcome. The villa was as described inside and out, very well equipped if you wanted to cook and plenty of space to enjoy the sun, and the location for us was perfect. The area is peaceful and we were able to enjoy lazy days by the pool. The old town is an easy 10-15 minute walk away, for a wander into town and a cheap €4 or €5 Uber ride home. We would definitely return and would recommend to family and friends.

Amazing Villa

We have travelled extensively and I don't think we have ever had a villa so well equipped. It was spotlessly clean, with everything you could possibly need. The outside area with an outdoor kitchen area was ideal for bbqs. Plenty of sunbeds. A fantastic pool kept immaculately clean by the owner. Check in was easy. Maria and her husband so helpful, pointing us in the direction of the best supermarkets. We honestly loved our fortnights holiday and really didn’t want to leave. We will return again next year, it was simply perfect.

Amazing stay at the villa!

We had a lovely stay at the villa. It was clean and very child friendly with equipments such as cot, staircase gate, high chair and even a bed guard for my 3 years old. The pool was maintained everyday by Manuel and Maria lives opposite so she can help with anything. There is local supermarket nearby about 4mins walk. Lidls and Aldi is a 10mins walk but it’s up and down hill. We used Ubers to pick us up with shopping as we didn’t have a car. Town is not too far, we used the bus and Ubers for transportation. We loved our stay and will be back in the future. Thank you Maria and Manuel

Beautiful villa for a family holiday

Villa is as shown, everything you need for a lovely stay is provided. The private pool is beautiful and well maintained by the hosts. Hosts live across the street but are very discreet and all communication was easy. Location is excellent, 10/15 minutes walk to old town. Ubers v cheap for journey back in evening approx €5. Despite being out of the owners control there are a lot of dogs in the surrounding area that bark at any given hour of the day/night which caused some issues with early wakes ups for us and our 2 year old. Minor note that the WiFi connection was not strong enough support basic usage. Overall we had an excellent time at this property and would definitely stay again.

5 star accommodation in Albufeira

Not a lot I can add to the previous reviews. The photos don’t do the property justice. Everything from the location of the house (15 minutes downhill walk to the centre of the old town), to the garden and swimming pool were perfect for our 12 night stay. Uber taxis are unbelievably cheap, average cost was €3.75 for an Uber to the apartment at the end of the evening, we also used Ubers to visit Silves and Vilamoura at €20 each way, so I would advise downloading the app and setting it up with your bank details before you go on the holiday as the queues for taxis were quite long at times. Maria and her husband are wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble for them. I would highly recommend this property as its ideal for families and Albufeira and the surrounding towns are well worth a visit. We did venture out to the new part of Albufeira but it didn’t warrant a second visit and isn’t anything like as pretty or traditional as the old town which has everything to suit all ages.

A chilled out week

We have just returned from a fabulously relaxing week at this stunning villa. The villa is well presented, spotlessly clean and comfortable with everything provided for an easy stay. The nearest supermarket is less than a 3 minute easy stroll away. There is also a Lidl & Aldi which again took less than 10 minutes to access on foot. We also discovered two good Portuguese restaurants within 5 minutes walk although you are spoilt for choice in Albufiera which can be reached on foot in about 15- 20 minutes. You can also get Ubers very easily if you prefer not to walk. We took full advantage of the pool everyday, it's large enough and deep enough for exercise or simply for cooling off. Manuel cleaned the pool daily, this was generally before we got up in the morning so it was totally unobtrusive. The outside area is a fabulous space with decent quality garden furniture. There is a built in BBQ which we used a couple of times and an outside sink. We were lucky enough to enjoy some excellent live fado on a couple of occasions courtesy of one of the near neighbours who is a professional singer and well known in the Albufiera area. Other than sleeping we were hardly inside the villa at all. That being said the interior is great. Two decent bathrooms with excellent water pressure in both showers. The lounge has two large sofa's, TV and a dining table. Both double bedrooms have their own balconies, the main bedroom also benefits from air-con. Booking the villa couldn't have been easier. Maria replies to queries very quickly, I felt comfortable and.confident booking with her. She also met us on arrival to show us around the villa and to provide local info about the area. All in all it was a delightful week that we both enjoyed immensely. Maria and Manuel saw us off at the end of the stay. They are the nicest people you could hope to meet, very kind and generous with their time. I would thoroughly recommend this villa, it is close enough to Albufiera to enjoy all the town has to offer but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of this small urbanisation. We can't wait to go back!
