2BR Lakefront Cabin w/ Private Launch & Dock

This comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bath lake-front cabin on Pine Mountain Lake is located on a quiet 2 acre lot in the north-woods of Minnesota. Located between Brainerd and Walker MN, there's too many activities for one trip! The perfect cabin for a family fishing retreat on one of the best of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes.

Launch and dock are located only 200 feet from the cabin. Life jackets can be provided upon request. Your rental comes with a free dock space. Contact us for more information about local boat rentals if you don't have one of your own!

We most likely won't be available to be around in person during your stay. However, we keep consistent and quick contact with our guests throughout their booking / rental periods.

Our property is large, but the property will be shared with our other cabin guests at the time of your stay.

Loved this little cabin off the main highway close to the water. The wooden furniture, including the bed posts was amazing. We enjoyed the fire pit and we could purchase firewood very easily through Venmo. We will definitely come back again. Bring your coffee!

From the online listing I had the impression that a "lakeside cabin" and "private dock" meant that the cabin sat near the shoreline with a direct line of site to the lake and that the "private dock" was right there in front of our cabin for my private use. It turns out that there were cabins between our cabin and the lake; so we had no direct view of the lake and the private dock was shared with everyone renting at this site. Also the dock was a bit of a hike from our cabin if you were carrying things. Needless to say our initial impression was that we had been mislead about what we were renting. Once we got past that disappointment we settled in and enjoyed the nice, clean cabin at a very reasonable price.

Quiet Girls Weekend

Our stay was wonderful even with cold weather! The cabin was very cozy and the heat worked well. It was spotless and had everything we needed. We met the owners and they were friendly and extremely helpful towards us. Would definitely stay again!

Cabins are well thought out with everything a person needs for the stay. The screened in porches really are the best part of the cabin!! Great location and Pine Mountain lake is perfect for fishing/swimming with great biking trails. We have been coming for several years and Derek and Troy have been very accommodating and pleasant hosts! Look forward to returning next year!

The cabin was very clean. Although the manager was not onsite when we arrived access to our rented unit was easy. It was very quiet. Not a lot of counter space in bathroom and kitchen, but it wasn’t a problem and pretty simple to make do. I would have liked to see a fitted sheet to put over futon for sleeping…..I thought advertising was s bit misleading since cabins aren’t on water, but pretty close to it and the private dock is shared by everyone…it’s private to the resort, not the cabin which is what I thought.

We wanted nice and quiet, and that is what we got.

We wanted to find a last minute get away. This cabin was a nice basic place to stay and relax and use as a base to explore the area. The sand beach was very nice, we got in the water a few times. The screen porch was very pleasant. We enjoyed wild life in the area, especially a black squirrel who put on a show coming and going with walnuts. Saw lots of deer nearby.

Amazing view, total relaxation

This whole property is perfect! The cabin we stayed in had everything we needed including a grill and fire pit. The owner was there when we stayed there and he was very friendly and helpful. The view of the lake and the beautiful sunset was incredible! There is a small sand beach with lounge chairs that were perfect for relaxing in… i can’t wait go back!

Beautiful lake and no check in hassle

This cabin was a nice clean cabin. There were a few thing I was not fond of. Four bath towels for four for 3 days was not enough. We had to ask for hand towels and wash cloths and were brought just one of each. If that is what you usually provide that's fine but you should say so on your web site. The beds are very hard and bedrooms are so tiny there are no night stands or lamps. (My fault I should have noticed that in the pictures). The futon in the living room smalls like urine and is very uncomfortable. We were there for a family gathering and memorial service so did not use the lake or beach but it was clean and the lake is beautiful. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed for cooking.

Nice little cabin on a good fishing lake.

The cabin was well kept, clean and stocked with almost everything you need. Just bring your clothes and some food and your set. The private dock was really nice and the people are very polite.

Very clean, well supplied cabin. Having a dock was awesome for fishing boat. Only complaint was the weather...would've liked to enjoy the large screen porch more! Plan to book again.
