Very cosy, comfortable. and well equipped Only minutes away from Dundee, as well as the expansive beaches of Tentsmuir and St Andrews. Shops just a walk away. Kim helpful and friendly hostess. Highly recommended.
We stayed in this home as part of dropping off our daughter at St. Andrews for college (traveling party was my wife, my daughter, and me); and it was perfect for that. Kim is so hospitable and easy to work with. The home was neat and clean, easy to use (well labeled in terms of how to use things) etc. It has 3 legit sleeping areas (we only needed two). The home is cozy in size (as one should expect in a smaller, European town), but was perfectly comfortable for us. It is about a 15 minute drive to St. Andrews. We definitely would stay here again (and may well do so, as we expect to make future trips).
We loved the cottage. Kim was a great host and even brought us coffee maker. She greated us with juice and bread and milk. The location was great for visiting the east coast of Scotland. The backyard gardens were fabulous. I highly reccomend it if you want a village feel and quiet location.
had a lovely relaxing weekend here recomend this as cottage was very clean and fully equiped with everything we needed.

Property is perfect and extremely comfortable
We had an absolutely fantastic long weekend staying in Tayport. The cottage was absolutely gorgeous, spotlessly clean and warm and cosy. Kim and Donald were the perfect hosts too and couldn’t do enough to help out. Donald even looked after our dog on the Friday evening when we went out for a meal to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. Our 14 year old son commandeered the attic conversion for the weekend and he loved it. It is set up with a smart TV, sofas and a large bed. He was able to connect up his xbox and use it when we were around. The rest of the house was perfect too, two large bedrooms downstairs a small but perfectly comfortable sitting room and the kitchen, although small is perfectly stocked with any dishes / utensils that you could possibly need. Tayport itself is lovely and friendly and we met lots of lovely people when we were out walking our dog. We really couldn’t fault the cottage and loved the garden too, although we visited late September it was still nice enough to leave the back door open and sit outside for a little bit.
