A beautiful historic farmhouse bed and breakfast located in the Blue Ridge Mountains on the outskirts of West Jefferson, North Carolina. With a total of four guest rooms, and a full breakfast included in your reservation, you can't beat the service. Relax on one of the porches and enjoy a scenic mountain view. Country living at it's finest! The Buffalo Tavern is conveniently located close to West Jefferson, Boone, Blowing Rock, and the Blue Ridge Parkway and there are countless local attractions including hiking, kayaking, tubing, shopping, and the arts. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and have a queen-sized bed, PRIVATE bathroom, electric fireplace, claw foot tub, satellite TV, and wireless Internet. The Madam's Room is located on the second floor.

This is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. Paps was a great host. He prepared us a breakfast to go since we needed to leave early. Amenities were extra nice, and he thought of everything with lots of special touches!

The room was very pretty, quiet, comfortable and a 5-6 mile drive to the cute town of West Jefferson. I would stay here again and explore more of what the area has to offer for outdoors pursuits.
