Absolutely beautiful home! Convenient to App state. Close to a sweet little winery- Mill Camp wines and ciders- lovely place to spend an afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed the deck with a view of the horses just beyond the river. The home is well stocked, has everything you need, many thoughtful details. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful cabin - had everything we needed! Wished for a few more days just to enjoy the cabin, deck and river. Off the beaten path but still close to Boone.
This cabin was clean and very updated. Beautiful area next to the river and pasture and horses. We had everything we needed for a nice and comfortable stay. Highly recommend!
The home was spotless, beautiful, and perfect! Sitting outside on the deck you hear the running water, see the peaceful countryside, watch a couple horses across the way…no noise, no traffic, but so close to Boone. Better than 5 stars!
We had an amazing trip! This place was top tier - we loved the fireplace, the gorgeous kitchen, the views and the water pressure! We would definitely recommend and we hope to be back!!
We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were welcoming and quick to answer any questions. The cabin was very cozy and nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. It couldn't have been better!
This cabin was just perfect! It was secluded enough but we could still get into downtown in a short distance. Our host was amazing and answered our questions quickly, we will be back!
Very clean, modern, and well supplied cabin! Beds super comfortable. Great view from the deck with comfortable seating space. Owner very responsive and kind. Would stay here again!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The view overlooking the river and nearby farm was very relaxing. The hosts even left us a treat to help us celebrate our anniversary.
We enjoyed staying in this comfortable cabin. The river view is beautiful. It was close enough to Boone to go there for dinner one night. Excellent hiking trails are just a short drive away. We will definitely return.

We live down the mountain in Hickory but have always loved the high country. We love sharing our little piece of heaven with others.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the cabin and how close it sits to the river. We often see otters swimming in the river along with the occasional beaver. Look for deer across the river in the horse pasture just before dark.
What makes this property unique
Our cabin is close enough to town to be convenient but far enough away to provide a relaxing retreat. The river is awesome whether you chose to go for a float, wet a line, or simply watch the river flow from the deck.
