Welcome to our little paradise in Florida!

Come and enjoy some magic days at our Barra Villa Resort, which is well renowned for its sophisticated and playful atmosphere. The resort consists all in all of 8 lovely apartments and studios with a central, large pool area and backyards.

APARTMENT SANIBEL

spacious 2-bedroom apartment on the ground floor - baby cot available - direct access to the garden from the kitchen!

The apartment "Sanibel" is furnished primarily in white.

If you feel up for a cozy night at home you can enjoy a show on TV or a DVD in excellent quality while relaxing on the sofa or in one of the comfortable wicker chairs.

If you are a family with two children the apartment might be especially appealing since it has two bedrooms. An additional crib for a baby or a toddler can be set up in one of the bedrooms. Of course, the Apartment Sanibel is equipped with a crib and fitting sheets and covers, a baby high chair, and baby towels.

In the kitchen, a family finds enough space to dine at the bar table. As a special treat, you’ll find a small door that will lead you along a staircase right into our beautiful garden in the back. The kitchen is equipped with many dishes and extras so you’ll have anything you might need.

The bathroom was completely renovated in September 2016 and has a spacious shower. Of course, enough towels are available. At our Apartment Sanibel, not only families with children will feel at home. Also for four adults, this apartment is ideal.

Great location and accommodations!

Great location. Close to grocery store where we would walk to get anything we needed. Also nice area to take walks down past the Ford-Edison estate and also to the downtown area. Walked downtown for dinner a few nights and also down to the river walk area. Unit was clean and had all that we needed for our stay. And the pool is a nice bonus!

Not a family destination

This rental site would be ok for an adults only travel. The neighborhood is a little sketchy. Definitely not a child friendly atmosphere.

We are very surprised about this rather mixed evaluation because at no time we or our local property manager were confronted with any kind of inconsistencies. We would have liked to get more detailed information (and suggestions) from the guests. Furthermore, we would like to note that our Barra Villa Resort is very popular with guests with children of all ages. Not least because of the walking distance to Down Town Fort Myers as well as the beautiful pool area.

Perfect for a base

As described! The pool is amazing. We needed a place close to Downtown. You can walk there if you have the right shoes. Close to grocery store and the best breakfast place in FL, First Watch. 25 minutes to Sanibel/Captiva. Can’t go wrong for the price.

Great Temporary Home

I stayed in this property as I was relocating to Fort Myers. It was a great temporary home. Convenient to everything. Great amenities! The property management was very responsive and helpful. The property has window air conditioners. I prefer central air. There was plenty of onsite parking. The pool was a great perk.

Apartment Sanibel

I had a wonderful time. I loved the apartment so much that I already booked for next year. Just one small suggestion, I’m 5ft and had a difficult time reaching the plates and bowls that I had to ask another guest to come and get some down for me, that is why I left a few on the counter when I left. It would be helpful to have a step-stool or possibly replace glasses that were on the shelf above the sink with a few plates and bowls. Thank you very much for such a clean and wonderful place to stay.

Great location but …

Property is old but serviceable. Faucet in the only bathroom created a spray rather than a stream. Hard to keep under control. Lost powers in over half of the unit for a day and a half. Marlene, the property manager was great. But, we had limited power. The living room is impossible to use for reading. Over head light was useful. Overall experience was just faid

Could be better

There was black mold in the shower. To turn the shower on you have to reach around a wall to turn it on and get wet. Garbage can in the kitchen is so small we couldn't fit any thing in it after one night and had to stack up food boxes and drink boxes. The air conditions are window units that are Extremely Loud. I sounded like we were sleeping inside a 1950s refrigerator. Was very hard to sleep. Then got an email that I was charged extra money for damage to property when there was no damage! Should have just stayed at a hotel would have been better.

It's not about damage to the apartment, but about the extra cleaning, as the apartment was left very littered. We have large garbage cans in the courtyard so that the garbage can be disposed of regularly and is not piled up in the apartment. we cannot understand the reference to the shower, as it is a standard shower fitting that is installed in the shower, which can also be seen in the pictures. The description and pictures in the advertisement also show that these are window air conditioners and that they are somewhat louder than the central air conditioners.

Met my needs

The property worked out well for my stay. I was out during the day & used the place in the evening and to sleep. Loved proximity to grocery & Edison Park. Edison is reciprocal partner with Walker Art where I am member. The area east of your property is dodgy. I encountered homeless guy while walking to grocery. I understand the world and did not feel threatened or unsafe. Others may not.
