Ideally located between the 3 islands (Ré, Oléron, Aix), 20 minutes from the beaches and La Rochelle, the 3 lodgings will welcome you in a peaceful setting in a renovated 18th century enclosure. Its swimming pool, perfectly integrated in the Clos style, will encourage prolonged relaxation in a touch of nature free from any nuisance.

Perfect get-away

A quiet place to relax

A very nice and quiet place to spend holidays. The house is very cosy and lovely decorated. The kitchen is new and fully equipped. In the garden you find the wonderful swimming pool. Around it you can relax perfectly - in the sun or in the shadow under trees. The host is very friendly and offers help when needed.

Pour la deuxième année consécutive, nous avons visité le Clos du Vallon des Courances. La location a changé (en bien), car les propriétaires ont complètement changé la cuisine, la rendant plus fonctionnelle et moderne. Le lieu est très calme et la piscine un plus réel pour se détendre après une journée de visite et de balades. Vivement l'année prochaine.

Erholung pur

Wir waren für eine Woche hier und sind noch immer am Strahlen! Bereits bei der Ankunft ist uns aufgefallen, dass hier eine neue Küche eingebaut wurde. Es war noch schöner, als auf den Bildern. Dazu diese Ruhe. Wir haben alles schnell mit dem Auto erreicht. Die kleinen Dorfbäcker waren toll. Der große Markt in Rochefort war auch sehr sehenswert. Und die Stadt la Rochelle ist auch sehr schön. Drumherum noch die Inseln. Wir haben aber nicht so viele Ausflüge gemacht wie geplant, da wir es so schön mit den Kindern am Pool fanden. Wir hatten einfach eine fantastische Zeit. Morgens ist uns dann am Pool aufgefallen, dass Blumen verstellt wurden oder Stühle, Sonnenschirme waren aufgespannt und alles sehr liebevoll dekoriert. Stephan spricht perfekt englisch. Vielen Dank Vanessa und Stephan für diese erholsame Zeit! Unser Akku ist wieder voll! Liebe Grüße Danica

Es ist ein hübsches liebevoll gestaltetes Häuschen, die Lage war perfekt um die Gegend zu erkunden und danach ging es in den Pool und zum Grill. Nachts konnte man auf der zweiten Terrasse wunderbar die Sterne sehen. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und für nicht Franzosen der Mann spricht perfektes Englisch…

Un ecrin de verdure calme et apaisant, où les bruits environnants sont ceux de la nature. Une piscine très agréable, et nos hôtes sont a la fois chaleureux et discrets. Très beau gîte, à 25 minutes de la mer. Le cadre est idéal pour déconnecter. Nous étions entre amis, tout s'est très bien passé. Les propriétaire sont très gentil et nous n'avons manqué de rien.

A really beautiful and relaxing place to stay! The gite is so clean and comfortable. Everything you need. The pool is great and so peaceful. Close to so many lovely places to visit. Schönes Ensemble zum Entspannen

Fantastic cottage in silent area with great pool

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Lage, zum Erholen und Entspannen, mit einem sehr schönen Pool. Atlantikküste und sehenswerte Orte (Rochefort, La Rochelle, Cognac, Bordeaux) sind mit dem Auto gut zu erreichen. Sehr freundliche Vermieter. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit und kommen gerne wieder. Beautiful cottage in a silent area, for good recovery and relaxation, with a fantastic pool in the garden. Atlantique coast and interesting places (e.g. Rochefort, La Rochelle, Cognac, Bordeaux) within easy reach by car. Very amicable landlords. We had a fantastic time and looking forward to come back in future.

Very relaxing and comfortable stay

The Gite is extremely well equipped and the pool is just right. It is exactly as described, with welcoming and accommodating hosts. It is set in picturesque farmland but convenient for main roads. There are many interesting places to visit, and we really enjoyed evening walks between the sunflower fields, with plenty of wildlife to spot.

MAGNIFIQUE

Nous avons passé un week-end prolongé exceptionnel dans ce gîte. Il est magnifique! Le site est très bien entretenu. Loft vraiment spacieux et agréable. La décoration est soignée et donne une atmosphère calme et reposante. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour vivre de manière paisible que ce soit en linge de maison, couverts, jeux pour enfants, DVD, etc. Les commerces sont à proximité et la plage aussi. Nous avons visiter l'île d'Oleron, la plage de Fouras et nous avons également pu en profiter pour avoir une vue panoramique du Fort Boyard. Vanessa, elle, a été également d'une gentillesse incroyable et d'une disponibilité sans faille avec une discrétion incroyable. Pour conclure, notre séjour fût une réussite, avec certitude nous y retournerons!
