My two siblings and spouses stayed a week in this secluded, quiet home. It was spotless and very well outfitted with just about anything you'd want. It was the perfect retreat after a day of wine tastings and sight seeing. The beds were extremely comfy and the outside living was gorgeous. The hosts were great and we made a lot of happy memories there!

We loved the place and everything about it. From the ambiance of solar lights in the evening surrounding the place, to the spa, to the personalized welcome basket- these owners clearly take great pride in providing a special stay. They were super helpful and always available whenever we needed assistance, and also provided lots of up-fornt info about the area and available activities. Highly recommend staying with these folks.

Tracey and Megan were absolutely wonderful guests! So very easy and nice to deal with. They were incredibly respectful and left the house, patio, pool and upper deck immaculate, even washing the beach towels before they left! We greatly appreciate it! 5 Star Guests and we would love to have them come back to Casa Olivia anytime!
Such attention to detail! Bob and Susan were great communicators and thought of everything their guests would need. Comfy beds, Starbucks coffee, amazing treats! We will be back!

Casa Oliva was an absolute dream! The house has everything you could possibly need for a wonderful vacation. The kitchen is well equipped, the bedrooms are sizable and well appointed, and the outdoor areas are fantastic. The pool was terrific too! The house’s location is great - it feels secluded and special while also being just a short drive to wineries, grocery stores, and beaches. Susan and Bob are incredibly responsive and helpful too. We would absolutely love to stay here again. Thanks for a fantastic stay!

Jennifer and her family left Casa Oliva absolutely spotless (including washing, drying and folding the beach towels for us!) and were such terrific guests! So easy and nice to communicate with! We would love them to come back any time and we hope it is soon! We wish we could give them more than 5 stars!
It’s our second time to stay in this wonderful property. We liked it so much that we came back! The house is nicely decorated and comfortable. Everything you need is there and it is all beautifully coordinated. What makes it special is the outdoor spaces with the pool and fire pit. They even have warmers around the outdoor table as evenings get cool in this area. The hosts are so thoughtful, leaving a welcome basket with local products.

Theresa and her family left Casa Oliva absolutely spotless and were such terrific guests! So easy and nice to communicate with! We are so glad they return to Casa Oliva and would love them to come back for a third time soon! We wish we could give them more than 5 stars!
3 couples from our small wine group stayed at this beautiful & private property near Atascadero. It was very centrally located in this wine producing region. We love to cook while on vacation and were able to find a great meat and fish market nearby. On the property they also had a wonderful vegetable garden that we used in some of our meals. The Owners were very helpful by referring us to great wineries that we really enjoyed.
We would like to come back again.

We just wish we could give them more than 5 Stars!! Please come back to explore and experience more great wineries and restaurants in the area! Thank you again!
My wife and another couple stayed for 3 nights at Bob and Susans Casa Oliva. The location was very quiet and private but only 3 min from anything you may need for your stay. The house was very well kept and clean. Modern touches throughout. Susan was very easily reached and accommodating. Most of our time was spent in the heated pool/spa and on the upstairs patio. We will defiantly come back and enjoy again.

HI Travis, Thank you so much for your kind words. We are so happy you and your friends
enjoyed yourselves! Thank you for leaving Casa Oliva spotless and we truly hope your return and soon! Cheers, Susan and Bob
The garden at this house was amazing- overflowing with vine ripened veggies! This was a perfect spot to spend a long weekend! The house has Comfortable beds, although the layout is a bit awkward with only one en-suite bathroom and the other bathroom has a washer/dryer wedged in a tight closet. We never used the upstairs room. The kitchen is fine for cooking, but lacked small details like cheese knives. The outdoors area is a nice private space, but the pool is not a full sized pool- think hot tub size. The hosts could not have been more helpful- they were wonderful and knowledgeable! Overall a great property!

Karen and her friends were delightful guests! They left Casa Oliva very clean and were wonderful communicators. Karen, we are so glad you liked our Welcome Bowls of Local and Estate Grown Organic Goodies, which we love to share! Also, that you were able to enjoy some of our recommendations for wineries and restaurants. We asked Chef Julien at Les Petite Canailles to stop by your table and introduce himself, which hopefully he had time to do! Thank-you so much for letting us know about the cheese knife. We pride ourselves on having every kitchen item a guest could possibly want, so we immediately bought 2 great cheese serving sets/knives with, of course, olive wood handles! Yes, Casa Oliva is a 3-Bedroom 2 1/2 Bath home. The Master Bath is Ensuite and the 2nd Bath is Shared. There is a Half Bath upstairs, which you probably never saw or used as you didn’t go upstairs, as well as the popular Outdoor Shower on the back patio looking out at the lavender and vines. We believe we have that honestly and clearly described in our Room Descriptions, Labeled Photos and the Video. The closet you speak of in the Shared Bath was specifically designed to fit that washer and dryer. While we recognized we needed to sacrifice a little room in that large bathroom, we felt it was an essential amenity for our guests. The Pool is indeed 7’ by 14’, the typical size for an Endless Pool Swim Unit. Again, we sincerely hope we have that clearly and accurately described that in our Outdoor Descriptions, Photos and in the Video where we show it in action. We love it because you can swim against the current during the day and then crank the heat up to 102 at night turning it into an extremely large “hot tub”. We consider it the best of both worlds! We would love you to return anytime (hopefully not during a California record breaking heatwave!) and enjoy the upstairs patio, fireplace and use our Explore Scientific Telescope to stargaze! Thanks again for staying at Casa Oliva! Susan and Bob
We had a great time at Casa Oliva, it is within a short drive from a lot of great wineries, and it is a beautiful property! The Owners are very generous and when you check in to the house, you will find lots of goodies to eat and a bottle of wine to go with them. Cheers 😊
The house was amazing! Every little detail was thought of. The welcome basket of local fruit, cheese, snacks was very thoughtful and a nice touch to start our first night. There is even a garden just outside the front door for the picking!
The house is very technology 'current'. A central iPad with controls for many of the amenities made things easy. We were able to sync our music to the sound system and direct where we want to hear it, which was handy for when we were hanging out in the Swimpool/hot tub!
The location is so convenient to all the surrounding towns and wineries! Major plus there.
Susan handled all questions, with in minutes over text. I loved that convenience, even for a later in the evening question. She and Bob also had great recommendations on new places for us to try.
We had such a positive experience. Will definitely stay here again.
We experienced some setbacks in planning due to health issues in the family, and Susan and Bob were remarkable and accommodating hosts. The property is so pristine, feels like it has healing properties, and no detail was spared for our comfort and enjoyment. Location was also phenomenal, and Susan and Bob left so many great local suggestions and recommendations! We’d definitely be back! Thank you!
This was one or our favorite VRBO rentals. Susan was so kind and helpful when planning our trip. The place was very clean, beautiful and private with so many personal touches. There was a detailed book with instructions on how to work everything which was very helpful. There was music playing when we walked in with a bottle of wine and charcuterie board. It was just an amazing experience. We could not have asked for more. We felt so taken care of beyond the house. 5 stars isn’t enough!

We were continually surprised and delighted by the extra special and unexpected touches. After busy days wine tasting, we were anxious to get back to Casa Oliva because it was so relaxing yet fun. Our favorite times were the evenings sitting on the deck, listening to our favorite music and playing cornhole. We hated to leave and are looking forward to returning again.

We had a FANTASTIC time staying at Casa Olivia!! You have such a beautiful and unique property. It was so nice being able to come back to a lovely setting after a long and full day exploring. Everything from your welcome basket of goodies to the immaculate well appointed home, it was a truly memorable weekend. The only trouble was deciding which cozy spot on the property to choose for our morning coffee. We will definitely be back!

Our second stay at Casa Oliva was just as enjoyable as the first - a rarity in our travel experience. The property is as well maintained and beautiful as ever and small improvements continue to be made. The heated spa/pool, the outdoor fireplace and the restaurant quality heaters for outdoor dining made our winter visit as enjoyable as summer!

Dear Patrick and Diane,
It was our absolute pleasure to have you and your family return to Casa Oliva.
You left Casa Oliva immaculate and you even washed and dried the beach towels, which we really appreciated.
We truly hope you return again in 2021!
Cheers,
Susan and Bob
Casa Oliva was a wonderful base of operations for exploring the Central Coast wine region. It is clear from the moment we arrived that the owners, Susan and Bob, have great taste and carefully maintain their property. The house is very private and well appointed. Detailed instructions are provided about music, tv and the pool/hot tub, although you should be a little savvy about streaming video if that matters to you -- we were able to access all our favorite apps.
Every day we explored a new winery and Susan and Bob were very generous in helping us access some the best the region has to offer.
We'll be back.

Kevin and his family left Casa Oliva absolutely spotless! Honestly, this is the cleanest anyone has ever left the house, back patio and upper deck! We truly appreciated it (and so did our cleaning crew!). They were so so respectful and easy to communicate with and we really enjoyed their sense of humor! We are so glad Kevin joined a winery in Paso, because we very much hope Kevin and his family come back again when they come down to pick up their wine! We only wish we could leave them way more than 5 stars!
This is the rare case in which the property is even better than what is shown online. The design, amenities, furnishings and outdoor areas of Casa Oliva are first class. Everything is clean and updated. The home is on a large, gated property, very private with beautiful grounds. My sons - 17 and 20 - enjoyed the pool/hot tub, ping pong table and cornhole set up. My wife and I enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine! Simply a one of a kind place near Paso Robles and other attractions on the Central Coast.

About the host
Hosted by Bob and Susan Mascall
Living and working in the the San Francisco Bay Area and having 3 adult children and 2 adorable grandchildren living in Los Angeles, we knew the Central Coast was the ideal location to find a halfway home to gather, celebrate holidays, birthdays, special occasions and enjoy the award winning Central Coast wines! We searched for over 5 years and finally found "The Perfect Spot".... The Hacienda Robles Estate and Vineyard.
Why they chose this property
The first moment we drove onto the 5-acre property we knew the land, trees, home and architecture, spoke to us as no other home had. Three months later it was ours to share and the work began!
We began by cleaning up the grounds that had been neglected for close to 20 years. It was important to us that this property be sustainable and so by using well water for our irrigation, we planted and lined the driveway with 100 30-year producing olive trees. We built and planted an organic vegetable garden, 1,000 lavender, 2,000 rosemary plants and different varieties of fruit trees. By using solar panels and solar lights we maintain a lifestyle by staying off the grid.
What makes this property unique
Once you drive through the gated entry at Hacienda Robles you will know you have arrived at a Magical Destination.
