Painter's Mountain Place is nestled conveniently off Highway 211 West. We invite you to come and enjoy a scenic mountain getaway located within minutes of activities. Enjoy the mountain air, go hiking, kayaking on the river, and being close to nature that is right in our backyard.

Painter's Mountain Place cleaning staff has enhanced their cleaning processes to ensure that the cabin is fully cleaned & sanitized for each and every guest.

Convenient to Luray Caverns, historic battlefields, hiking, golfing, horseback riding, river activities and much more. An experience you will want to come back to again and again. Located right off of I-81 .

Painter's Mountain Place is the perfect place to escape the stress of life and get back to nature. The cabin has two cozy bedrooms upstairs, one queen and one full size bed. The main floor bath is very spacious with all the necessities, including a walk-in shower and jacuzzi jetted tub that is perfect after a day hiking the trails. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, oven, microwave and coffee maker. Located off of the kitchen is a grand living room. Come and get cozy by the fireplace or relax on the sofa to enjoy the large flat screen television. The backyard has plenty of space to run around. Enjoy the evening outside on the patio by the fire taking in the sounds of nature or having dinner outside on the picnic table. There is plenty of space for everyone to feel right at home!

August roadtrip with grand daughter

We stayed at this house during our Grandmother/Grand daughter roadtrip. It was perfect for us and she loved the jet bath tub. We visited family nearby in Harrisonburg, and went to a few touristy places including the Caverns and Rte 11 chip factory. Thank you for providing these accomodations!

Sweet cabin

This cabin is clean and beautifully decorated. It was a nice little get away close by. I wish I would have known beforehand that there is no wi-fi available. It didn't really matter, but it would have been nice to know. Also, it's much closer to the road than I thought it would be. Aside from those two surprises, it is a good place to stay.

Family Trip

Family and I had a wonderful time staying at Painters Mountain Place. Enjoyed playing in the spacious backyard and having family time around the camp fire and utilizing the BBQ. House was clean and spacious for our family. Really enjoyed the history of the house but also the modern up to date appliances, utilities, and relaxation it provided. Great place to wine down after a long day adventuring the surrounding area's.
