This property was darling. We loved every minute of our stay. Beautiful views, charming cabin situated in the middle of a working farm on a hilltop. The hosts looked after every detail and provided so many extra homey touches. Thanks for our stay. We will be back.

The Cabin was quiet, comfortable, and secluded. The outside sitting area is a very nice spot to relax and watch the sunset. The host is welcoming and responded quickly to questions.

very peaceful secluded cottage. very well kept and clean, with amenities galore. Dennis was a great host. Great spot for Fido. Suzy, our black lab loved the weekend. she even met her 1st cow and wanted to play, but the cow was not interested. it got chilly so we built a nice fire to keep warm. dennis had tons of ready dry wood and kindling. would go back again if in the area...

I enjoyed my stay. The only noise was a few cows and birds. Great location off the road in a rural setting. Great place for a dog to run around. Dennis was an excellent host.

This was such a relaxing spot all to yourself behind some poultry sheds and a grazing pasture with cows (and a barn cat) at the treeline of a hill. Dennis is a kind, wonderful host and led the way to the property in person. Great view of a forested hill with sunset behind each evening, and the cabin is thoughtfully stocked, clean and cozy.

This place is such a hidden gem! The pictures do not do it adequate justice. We had a great time with our dogs, and the outdoor space is truly indispensable. We even had cows for neighbors at times, which was a treat, lol. Even though it rained a ton while we were there, the overhang outside meant we didn’t have to spend all of our time indoors. Dennis was a great host, and we enjoyed meeting him. Thank you for letting us use your space! We will be back again.

Our stay was wonderful. Dennis made sure we were set up for success by offering great food recommendations in town, showing us around the cabin, and being available whenever we needed anything. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. We couldn’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful place to get away

We stayed the weekend and must say it was perfect... nicely tucked away from everyone and yet still close to downtown Harrisonburg. We enjoyed a quiet peaceful weekend and plan on going back next year for a longer stay

Dennis was very accommodating. The property was very clean and exactly as listed. We stayed here for our son’s college graduation so we weren’t at the property very much but there was firewood available to use in the fireplace and lots of outdoor seating. We will def be back again!
