Large apartment with full kitchen, living room with large tv, comfortable king bed and nice bathroom. It is right by a busy road so the trucks start coming by early. There is a door into the bedroom area so that blocks out most of the truck noise. It is close to the highway so easy to get on highway to go to museums, etc.

Excellent stay! We thoroughly enjoyed the welcoming and beautiful one bedroom loft. Every convenience you could ask for was present. Take a visit to Jon Henry General Store next door for fresh meats, produce, pastries and apple butter, jams or jellies. Great place to capture canoes , gifts you name it.

This apartment was very clean and comfortable. It was centrally located to the activities we had planned during our visit. When we realized we were going to be late checking in, accommodations were made to make that process easy. Anytime I had a question our host replied immediately.

Everything was as expected and property was clean and unique. Definitely would stay again. Note: if you are a light sleeper as I am. This may not be your first choice. The property is on a corner and there is heavy truck traffic that seems to run all night. Because of the age of the property it is not so soundproof from the road noise.

Awesome place to stay!

I traveled to Shenandoah national Park and it was struggling to find the best place to stay since the park is such a long park. I’m so glad we chose to stay here. It was a very good location towards the middle. That was also very close to the Luray caverns. The home itself was so nice and spacious. I really like that there was a full kitchen so we could cook instead of eating out the whole time..

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful historic loft! The space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully renovated, with everything we needed to feel right at home. The king bed was very comfortable, and having a fully equipped kitchen and a separate living area made the stay even more enjoyable. The location in downtown New Market was convenient for exploring the Shenandoah Valley, visiting nearby attractions, and enjoying the charm of the local area. Jon was a great host, and we appreciated the hospitality and attention to detail. We would absolutely recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and charming place to stay. We would happily stay here again!

We have family in the area that we visited and we enjoyed this place as a nice quiet landing pad. Check in and out was easy. Host was great to message. We did catch the fireworks show for New Market which was right around the corner from the general store for our 4th of July stay which was an added bonus. Place was clean and bathroom is massive which was really nice with our two kiddos in tow. Bed was comfy too.

My only complaint cannot be helped and does not overshadow the good, and that is the street is very busy and noisy. Having said that, it was fine with a white noise machine. The apartment was as described. Very clean and well stocked with coffee. Comfortable king bed. Easy on-street parking. Host was a great communicator!
