Not great but location rocks

The location is steps from public access to a beautiful beach. It was also nice to have the pool for the kids when we were done with the beach. The house is a bit rough: large holes in the walls, sink not bolted down safely, washing machine stained our clothes, dog hair on all blankets. We won’t stay at this house again but we will visit Oak Island again.

Great vacation spot!

We loved our stay here! The property is one of the older ones on the island but it has been maintained well and recently updated with new paint, furniture, etc. There were a few minor things that needed some help such as the cabinet under the sink not staying on, the toilet paper dispenser coming out of the wall, and the wifi didn’t work for most of our stay (but I never complained since we weren’t using it- could have been an easy fix). but besides that everything was perfect! The home, pool and hot tub were very clean when we arrived. The beds and couches were super comfortable. Location can’t be beat: : midway between the east and west points of the island, 15 minute walk to the pier, and beach access right across the street from the home! There are a few more houses across the street now than show in the listing photos, but there is still two empty lots west of/next to the beach access point. We had an a amazing time and would definitely stay in Oak Island and Beachy Peachy Keen again!
