House of 110 m2 located at the top of a small village in the south of France 30 kilometers from the Mediterranean and Perpignan between the Pyrenees and the Corbières.
Surrounded by scrubland (olive, almond and pine) on a plot of over 900 m2, this house has 3 bedrooms, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom, 1 living room, 1 living room and 2 huge garages. It has many terraces to rest and enjoy the sun (and shade) for each hour of the day.
On the ground floor: 2 large garages which will allow you to park 2 cars.
On the garden level: 1 very bright fitted kitchen (electric oven / ceramic hob / fridge / lots of storage space) / 1 large bedroom with a double bed and plenty of storage cupboards / WI-FI / 1 living room with a convertible sofa (2 places) with TV / 1 stereo / 1 living room overlooking the terrace and the street / 1 modern bathroom / 1 sanitary / 1 terrace overlooking a quiet street.
On the 1st floor: 2 large bedrooms with windows with 2 large beds and a terrace overlooking the wooded garden (plenty of storage).
This house is surrounded by a large garden with trees of over 900 m2 for resting and feasting with a furnished barbecue area.

What a beautiful house!

The property all in all is very well kept, and very cozy. We loved the house and the garden, the view in the evenings and the beautiful little village of Tautavel. We definitly want to come back.

Magnifiqûe!

Just needed to turn up and relax, everything needed was to hand. Obviously been a family home in the past with all the treasures of the past.Loved the various terraces and the area under the Mulberry Trees relaxing in the hammock or in recliners. Peace abd tranquilty and such birdsong including being serenaded by a Nightingale! Stunning setting for a village. Visited inland and the coast (Collioure being our favourite) during our 1 week visit. Temperatures were 31oC on our last day. The only thing I would caution is the staircase to the upper 2 bedrooms, which is not something the family can do anything about. Risky for older people with mobility issues or children. Would love to come back and spend longer here.

Characterful property in the heart of the Corbières.

We stayed for a month and really enjoyed the place. The house is a traditional French family home in a convenient village location. The house is well maintained and very well organised. Everything works. There is no airconditioning but the window shutters are mostly effective in keeping the house reasonably cool and well ventilated. (The exception was for a few days when we experienced a heatwave … with temperatures outside if 38-40C its probably not surprising that it was pretty uncomfortable inside. There are several terraces which provide sun / shade at different times of the day - so if your objective is to find a quiet spot to read and relax there are multiple options. The large terrace shaded by mulberry trees is a delight - plenty of shade and a cooling breeze most days. The listing on Vrbo is very accurate - there were no unpleasant surprises - in fact in general the facilities exceeded our expectations. The two large garages were great in enabling us to park off-road and out of the sun. We were even able to plug in our electric car. There is a large fridge freezer in one of the garages which was a great help for frozen foods and of course chilling the wine! For entertainment, there is a good selection of videos and DVDs for french speakers. The internet works well which meant we were able to widen the choice of entertainment by downloading videos and watching Netflix using our own devices. Tautavel is a sleepy village in a beautiful location. The village has a baker, grocery shop that sells almost everything, and a cafe. There are numerous restaurants although many were closed during our stay. El Silex was one of the ones that was open offering delicious food with friendly service. The surrounding mountains, rivers and gorges offer not only beautiful scenery but also many opportunities for outdoor sports such as hiking and mountain biking. There are many chateaus to visit. Perpignan and Narbonne are both within easy reach by car, as is the coast. We found plenty to do. Fabrice and Steffi are really nice property owners. They were very efficient in dealing with our booking and made us feel very welcome. Many thanks for a most enjoyable stay!

Nous avons adoré cette maison dès la première seconde. Nous n'avons manqué de rien pendant deux semaines. Nous nous sommes sentis ici comme chez nous pendant 2 semaines merveilleuses. Les installations sont vraiment de première classe. Les propriétaires étaient très arrangeants et le contact était très rapide et simple. Herzlichen Dank für Ihre Gastfreundschaft, die wir in den vergangenen 3 Wochen genießen durften. Wir haben uns in Ihrem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt - es fehlte an nichts. Wir hatten schönes Wetter, so dass wir die Umgebung - auch zu Fuß - erkunden konnten. Wohltuend war auch die Ruhe im Ort. Gern kommen wir wieder.

Charaktervolles Ferienhaus in toller Lage

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Tautavel sehr genossen! Das Haus ist außerordentlich charmant und gut ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, und wir waren traurig, dass wir abreisen mussten. Bei Anreise lag etwas Staub auf den Möbeln, vermutlich waren wir aber die ersten Gäste des Jahres. Unserem Vergnügen hat das keinen Abbruch getan. Die Umgebung ist perfekt geeignet für Wanderer und Genießer. Das Meer ist ebenfalls nur eine Stunde Fahrt entfernt. Die meisten Restaurants hatten außerhalb der Saison begrenzte Öffnungszeiten, aber die Küche des Hauses ist gut ausgestattet, so dass wir uns auch selbst versorgen konnten. Wir können Haus und Ort empfehlen!

Un beau séjour dans les Pyrénées Orientales

Très beau séjour dans la maison de Fabrice et Steffi où il ne manque rien. 3 chambres avec lit double pour que chacun ait son espace, le balcon de la cuisine pour le petit-déjeuner, la terrasse ombragée pour le midi... Plein de choses à faire et à voir dans la région à commencer par les gorges des Gouleyrous accessibles à une quinzaine de minutes avec les vélos (prêtés!) où la baignade dans l'eau de la rivière est bien appréciable quand il fait chaud! Châteaux cathares, musée de la préhistoire, la mer à 30 min, l'Espagne à 1h... Canyoning, randos... allez-y les yeux fermés!

C'est une maison faite pour les réunions de famille, les repas qui s'éternisent dans le jardin et les siestes réparatrices sous les arbres. Nous avons passé une belle semaine dans ce lieu qui invite à la détente. L'équipement est complet, rien ne nous a manqué. Le propriétaire donne de nombreuses indications que ce soit sur la maison ou les visites à faire. Bref nous recommandons cette location sans réserve et espérons revenir car la région offre de nombreuses visites et activités.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans le logement de Fabrice. Le logement est spacieux, propre et ouvert sur plusieurs espaces extérieurs très agréables. Sa localisation dans le "vieux Tautavel" nous a permis de découvrir le village et de faire des achats sans avoir à prendre la voiture. Dans un rayon d'une demie-heure, nous avons pu faire des activités variées (randonnées, visites, baignades...).

Charmant sejour dans une maison agreable

La maison est bien placée en haut du village de Tautavel qui est très agréable (petite epicerie+ boulangerie). Beaucoup de site touristique à voir avec de très beau paysage. La maison est agréable avec 3 chambre avec jardin et un super Barbecue et en plus une belle vue dégagée. le propriétaire, même s'il n'est pas sur site, est très disponible par sms pour répondre à toute les questions. A noter une très bonne chaine Hifi et des compilations disponibles sur clé USB judicieusement assemblées
