About this property

A lovely, relaxing retreat after a great day of hunting, fishing or just playing

4 Bedroom, 2 bath A frame home located on Negreet Creek in Toledo Bend Lake, renown as one of the best bass fishing lakes in the US. Nice completely furnished kitchen and dining area with large smart TVs in living room and two bedrooms with Direct TV. Plenty of comfortable seating for watching the game.
Sleeps 10 comfortably with 3 queen beds and one room with 4 bunk beds. Lovely screened front porch with rockers and a porch swing is a cozy coffee spot in the morning or whenever the birds are conducting their performances as you look at the sun glancing off the water. In the evening the firepit or the spacious dock is a lovely way to watch the sun set over the water as you enjoy your favorite beverage.
The carport in the front has a perfect location to hang out and grill while rehashing the days activities.

The well lit dock had electrical outlets for your boats, a cleaning station with electrical outlet for your electric knife and water for cleaning up. Tie your boat up to the dock for easy access every morning or evening. Although we have no launch, there is one available 3 minutes from our camp on Walkerville Road. The fee is $10 and you can then keep your boat at the dock until you are ready to take it out of the water. l

Other than your food and drinks we should have everything you need for your vacation.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please keep wet clothes in the bath tub.
All other dirty linen can be in the left in the hall or laundry room.
Please take your trash to the dumpster down the street. Key hangs in the hall.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Great rustic location

This was an excellent location, great wild life and a superb fishing camp. We caught lots of fish out of kayaks and off the dock, great swimming on sand bar near by. Would recommend for those who love nature, shade trees, and fishing!

Very Cozy and relaxing

It has everything that was described. You just bring clothes and food. It is very cozy and relaxing. I enjoyed sitting in closed in screen porch and drink coffee and read and listen to birds. We caught bass and sac a lait not far from the camp. My son and his friends enjoyed swimming at sandbar nearby. However, we had a hard time driving in the driveway with a 19 foot boat. It is best to launch the boat first and park the trailer by the shed. Other than that, if you like rustic cozy camp with lots of shade, this is the place to be. I had a great communication with the owner, very informative, very friendly and answers all of my questions.

Wonderful Birthday Weekend

My family and friends stayed here to celebrate my husband's birthday with some boating and fishing. The house was cozy and comfortable with lots of ammenities for cooking. We truly had a fantastic time here and plan to return!

Peaceful Location

Wonderful place nestled in a relaxing cove. Hidden retreat for those who want to get away and unplug. Just minutes away from Market Basket and Toledo Tackle. Also a short boat ride from Cypress Bend which is a great location for swimming and water sports. Owners were great and our time spend here was fantastic!

Perfect Little Hideaway

We had a great time at this little hideaway. It is definitely well kept and was so nice and clean. It has such a nice shady spot to sit at any time of the day and was definitely perfect with our little ones. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch. It was so peaceful and so shady just a great little place to stay. Our little family really enjoyed our time here at the lake.

Nice quiet location with plenty of privacy.

Very nice location. Plenty of extra amenities along with beautiful view from wharf area. The property has a nice rustic get back to nature feel. We enjoyed our stay even though it rained most of our weekend. The host has plenty of games available to keep you busy on those rainy days.

Loved it. Was well equipped with everything we needed to ha e a fantastic weekend with the children and grandchildren. They had so much fun fishing from the dock. Will definitely be a return trip in the future
