In the Lot, near the Dordogne valley and ideally located between Sarlat and Rocamadour, the Poujades is a beautiful property on 2.5ha including a Perigord house, its dovecote and barn renovated as a holiday home of 250 m² with swimming pool private, its 4 bedrooms each with a bathroom or shower room with toilet, 2 stays, game room with American billiards and table football and super equipped kitchen for 10 people. Large covered terrace. The cottage is classified 3 ears to the lodgings of France. The dominant position ensures sunshine with beautiful views of the valley. The property is located in a beautiful hamlet without traffic !!! For lovers of nature, countryside and open spaces, while being 5 minutes from shops. The house has a private pool, fenced and heated filter salt. The estate is located in a region of great wealth by its historical, cultural and natural heritage. You will also discover the typical gastronomy that invites you to many tastings.
And for sports you from beautiful walks, bicycle, or motorcycle in beautiful landscapes. Many activities await you: kayaking, paragliding, ULM, mountain biking, caving, diving and many others. The house is rented all year, from 3 nights, or week or more (summer minimum 1 week) Price on request.
The house comprises on the ground floor 2 stays, a game room equipped with a billiard table and a foosball, a fully equipped kitchen, toilet with washbasin, covered terrace. 1st floor 4 spacious suites, 2 bathrooms and 2 adjoining shower rooms with wc. Julia and Robert were very pleasant and easily contactable throughout. The property was spacious and well presented. Lovely pool and views making it an ideal spot for relaxation for the whole family and also a good base from which to explore the area. A good range of supermarkets nearby. We had a late flight departure and our request to vacate a little later was accommodated with no problems, for which we were very grateful. This area of France is highly recommended.

Absolutely Stunning Property

We had an amazing experience at Julia & Robert’s. Everything was as described and was even nicer in person. The pool, the garden, the flowers and all the butterflies were just magical. The house is very well laid out for families sharing and there’s great entertainment for kids with the games room and pool area which is also secure with a fence. I would highly recommend this location.

Wonderful Stay

It was a wonderful stay and idyllic location. If you want to experience some real rural France then it’s perfect. The local shops are great for small top up shops but be aware that Sundays and Mondays are limited opening hours. Restaurants are all a drive away but we’ll Worth it. We highly recommend this as a base for traveling around the Dordogne. We could not fault the house it’s simply stunning and wonderful for two families or groups.

Wonderful stay in the Lot countryside

We had a lovely restful week in La Poujades, Reilhaguet. The house was a great size for our extended family. The village Payrac was 10 mins away with a good restaurant and grocery store. Gourdon a bit further with more choice and a great Patisserie. Robert was so helpful with booking a restaurant and finally kindly offering to take our son and his family to the station in Gourdon on departure. Thank you for a great stay!

Les Poujades stay

This was a lovely house in a great, quiet, rural location ideal for exploring the Lot. The quiet roads and footpaths were excellent for hiking, running and cycling. The nearby Dordogne river also provided easy access to swimming and canoeing. The pool was a great size and the bedroom fans were very welcome on hot days. We also enjoyed having the pool, table football and table tennis tables. Robert and Julia were very helpful hosts. Thank you for two wonderful weeks.

Superb location for a relaxed and tranquil holiday

This is an unique and one of a kind property in the heart of the beautiful department Lot. The house is spacious and has lots of room to host up to 12 people. We (family of 4: 2 adults+2 children age 12 and 9) had an amazing and very relaxed time here and everything in the house was very clean. The house is fully equipped, no need to bring utensils from home, everything is available. The owners are very helpful and available if you need anything. The house lies on a big property with beautiful surroundings and a big swimming pool with sundeck. We would definitely recommend this house and plan to stay here again once we plan a trip to the Lot.

Fantastic!

Great property, friendly hosts and lovely location!! We were a family of 4 adults and had lots of space, inside and out, to cater for all our needs! The pool is huge and was well used throughout our week (and was heated to a comfortable temperature!). All the facilities you could possibly need are fully provided for and the wonderful property is full of charm and character. Robert and Julia were very welcoming and were only a stone’s throw away if we needed anything (thankfully we didn’t need to trouble them at all as everything was just perfect). I would fully recommend this holiday home and wish Robert & Julia every success for the future. Mark & Julia.

A very peaceful setting and the accomodation layout provides seating in various rooms as well as outdoors so plenty of space to find a bit of 'me time' should you wish to. The pool was a great size and had plenty of seating/ loungers to accommodate everyone. The pool table was also well used.The bedrooms looked very impressive but be aware that the one we used has a large beam that you have to squeeze past to get into bed though the others are all fine. Our shower was great though one in the party commented that the bath in another room was beautiful but was deep and as the ceiling sloped it could be quite tricky. The weather was mixed so we did struggle drying some heavier washing as there wasn't a tumble drier. That being said we had 7 adults stay for a week and we all had a wonderful time and Robert and Julia were excellent hosts as was their dog who was the star attraction with my adult children who loved it if she managed to sqeeze through a gap in the fence. We would recommend you try this gite if you want space , peace but things to do too. We would definately return if holidaying in the same area again.

Beautiful house, perfect for families, in stunning setting

We stayed two weeks at Robert and Julia’s property and loved every minute of our holiday. We were 4 adults and 6 children aged between 11 and 3. The house is perched on a hilltop with far reaching views across the valley offering beautiful sunrises and sunsets and a very welcome breeze! Inside it is spacious with a fully equipped kitchen and the games room was a hit with the kids. Point to note: there are two bedrooms at the top of each staircase. One side is a double with cot and a triple, the other side is a triple and a double. All en-suite but only two showers in total, one each side of the house, not a shower in every bathroom (sink, toilet and bath in every bathroom though). Not an issue at all for us but could be if you’re all adults and need to share showers. The top attraction though was the huge pool. I think our kids spent more time in it than out! It’s securely fenced (great with a 3yr old running free) and Robert cleaned it several times during our stay. There is also a gate on the drive which adds more helpful security. We ate on the terrace almost every meal and we’re blessed with hot weather every day. Payrac a short drive for morning croissants (also a useful small supermarket and lovely restaurant there). Robert and Julia were on hand if needed but completely discreet if not (they live just behind the house). All in all a huge success and we hope to return. Thank you Julia and Robert!

Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld war sehr gut. Julia & Robert, die nebenan wohnen, haben uns sehr gastfreundlich begrüßt und uns alles im Haus gezeigt und erklärt. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben. Es gibt ausreichend Geschirr, Gläser und Besteck und alle erforderlichen Kochutensilien sind vorhanden. Gewürze, eine Notration Kaffee, Kaffeefilter und Toilettenpapier sind vorhanden. Großer Kühlschrank. Pool-Billard war eine willkommene Abwechslung bei schlechten Wetter. Fernsehen ausschließlich französisch, aber mit Hilfe des schnellen Wlan, konnten wir ARD/ZDF etc. inclusive Mediatheken problemlos über unser Notebook streamen und auf dem großen Schirm schauen. Der Pool ist sehr schön und groß und wurde zwischendurch von Robert diskret gereingt. Wetterbedingt konnten wir den Pool leider nur an vier Tagen richtig nutzen, aber das war natürlich Pech. Der Garten ist sehr groß und eingezäunt, so dass sich auch unser Hund sehr wohl gefühlt hat.Trotz des nicht optimalen Wetters ein sehr schöner und erholsamer Aufenthalt. Danke an unsere freundlichen Gastgeber.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Reilhaguet und haben sowohl in Richtung Dordogne als auch Richtung Lot viele Ausflüge machen können. Da das Wetter nicht ganz so stabil warm wie erwartet war, kam die Zeit am schönen Pool eher zu kurz. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich, halten sich im Hintergrund, sind jedoch bei einem Anliegen sofort zu Stelle. Das Haus ist geräumig und bietet viele Spielmöglichkeiten auch für Gruppen/Familien. Wir waren nur zu Zweit, das Pool-Billard haben wir gerne genutzt. Die Küche ist sehr grosszügig geschnitten, da kann man nicht nur alleine drin kochen ;-). Passte alles - schöner Urlaub!

Excellent séjour aux Poujades chez Robert et Julia cet été pendant une semaine entre amis avec 5 enfants de 1 à 8 ans. Le gîte est superbe, au calme, très propre et bien équipé, bien conforme aux photos et à la description de l’annonce. Les chambres sont très confortables et la maison est fonctionnelle. La piscine est immense et impeccable. Les alentours sont vallonnés et typique de la campagne du Lot, il y a une chèvrerie non loin avec vente de fromages de Rocamadour. Robert et Julia sont franchement adorables et toujours disponibles en cas de besoin. Nous partons tous les ans entre amis et cette maison est celle que nous avons préféré. Nous recommandons à 100% !

Prachtvakantie in Laval Reilhaguet

Wij verbleven met 4 volwassenen en 1 kind van 2 jaar in dit mooie vakantieverblijf. Prachtige locatie wat betreft natuur, stilte en omgeving. Zeer mooi en ruim zwembad, evenals de woonst. Ontvangst door de zeer vriendelijke eigenaars (ps : bedankt nog voor de heerlijke kersen ). Kortom ; topvakantie !

Ses équipements intérieurs et extérieurs sont complets avec notamment sa terrasse abritée, une grande piscine, un billard et un baby-foot. Son emplacement stratégique permet d’effectuer de nombreuses visites dans les environs sans faire de trop nombreux kilomètres.Cerise sur le gâteau Julia et Robert sont des Hôtes d’une extrême gentillesse, attentionnés, à l’écoute tout en restant discrets.Conclusion notre expérience « aux Poujades » est une réussite totale et nous recommandons vivement ce gîte. Nous lui accordons sans hésitation une note de 10/10.

Découverte de régions de mon enfance

Excellent emplacement au calme +++ en pleine nature. Maison bien conçue beaucoup d’espace et très agréable à vivre avec une grande piscine. Notre lit grinçait par contre un changement serait bénéfique mais non rédhibitoire.

Belle semaine de vacances en famille

Magnifique !

Tout commence par l'accueil chaleureux de Julia et Robert dans leur jolie maison. Celle-ci est idéalement située dans un très bel endroit au calme. Nous y avons trouvé tout le confort nécessaire à nos vacances. Nous étions une dizaine de personnes de 20 à 60 ans, tous heureux de notre séjour entre baignade dans la piscine et visites de lieux emblématiques. Les couchers de soleil et les nuits étoilées ont fini de nous combler. Pour finir, nos hôtes ont été charmants et disponibles. Grand merci à eux.
