About this property

OCEANFRONT/BEACHFRONT- 7 Bedroom House! One block from Restaurants and Shops!!!

Our BEACH HOUSE at 806 Ocean Boulevard is directly on the ocean. You can hear the waves from the front rooms. We have just finished repainting inside as of 3/15/23 and gutted/remodeled all bathrooms. This is a BEACH HOUSE for large families. The great room is two levels with windows above to give you a BEACH feeling even while you are inside. The house is very open with lots of light. There is lots of space for even large groups to be together without any feeling of being crowded.
The location is ideal. You are 2 blocks of easy beach walking to food, drinks, ice cream and shopping. However, you are far enough away from any public parking that the beach in front of the house is limited to occupants of homes and not day tourists. It is never crowded.


There is a king bed in the master bedroom facing the ocean and a queen in the opposite ocean front bedroom. There is a queen in the street side bedroom with a bathroom between the two bedrooms.
Upstairs there are two bedrooms on each side with a connecting loft and bathrooms between the bedrooms on each side. On the ocean front there is a king on one side and a king with a twin daybed for children on the other. On the street side there is a bedroom with 3 twin beds and a bedroom with 2 bunk beds and an extra twin.

The lower deck is covered with protection from sun and rain. This deck has two sets of table and chairs for dining or cocktails outside. There are two open decks off the upstairs ocean front bedrooms for private sunbathing.

Ideal location!!! One block from Restaurants and Shops and far enough from the public parking lots to have a nice quite beach experience!!!!

A little TLC
We really enjoyed our stay. The inside of the house was roomy & comfortable for our large family. Had all the amenities that we needed. It’s a bit older house, so wear & tear is expected & acceptable. Inside was great. The outside of the house could use some attention. The grounds were somewhat grown up. A little pressure washing would make a huge difference. Overall, we would pick this house again. Beach access was wonderful. Thank you for helping us make more family memories.

The location is fabulous - the house needs numerous repairs. Of the 4 lightbulbs in the living room fan - only 1 was present. 2 of 4 bulbs in the bathroom were burnt out, the rails on the deck loose, rust was running from the window frames, holes in the wall where hooks use to be (they were laying in the room), doors don't close, bedroom carpets need cleaned, outdoor shower has 'mushy' boards, stair rails were not attached, etc. The outdoor approach was full of weeds, and the pillars are rotting. This is not worth the fees we were charged. The instructions to get into the house are not accurate. An attempt to reach the property manager resulted in an 'error page' so there was no way to reach them. To top it off, we lost a diamond ring in the house. Please advise if it's found in the cleaning process.

Charleston Family Getaway
The house location was ideal and we loved being right on the beach. It accommodated our large family well. It was nice having a basket of beach towels which we used frequently. We loved the setup upstairs. It gave our adult children and their families their own space and bathrooms. The seating in the common area worked well. As for any concerns, the mattress/box spring in the master bedroom was broken resulting in the side of the mattress closest to the bathroom sloping downward. It would have been nice to have had dish towels to clean up the kitchen and a larger supply of dishwasher and hand soap. We did try to reach out to Gus about this but did not receive a reply during our stay. The interior looked to be recently renovated and was very comfortable. The outside needs some maintenance but this did not affect our stay. Overall we had a great experience.

Great house for a big family vacation!
This property was great for our big family vacation. Lots of parking and a wonderful ocean front view. Bathrooms have been nicely updated.

Why they chose this property

We bought this lot to build on so we were close enough to walk up the beach to eat, shop or play games. But we are far enough away to avoid the crowds where there is public parking.
