Large place for a good price. This is the fifth year we've stayed there. Comfortable, responsive owners

Kitchen was great for cooking for a big group. Layout was a bit strange for sleeping but we made it work. There were several rooms that were helpful for storing sports equipment. The host was very responsive and the drive was cleared when we had snow.

Great for our multi-family Adirondack adventure. We had a wide range of ages (2-75) and the property had everything we needed! Love the setting; private yet close to everything! Also, very responsive host for the few questions we had. Thanks for the hospitality!!
We had an amazing stay couldn’t have asked for a better location. So much to do within 30min of the home. The kids had an absolute blast hiking and playing in the game room. The fire pit area was awesome we were warm and toasty all night. Hosts were very responsive and kind we would def stay again enough room to fit our group of 16 8 kids and 8 adults.
Great property for friends and family to get together. Close to Whiteface is a plus.

Our family stayed at the chalet for the second time. The upgraded kitchen was beautiful. The owners are quick to respond to any concerns. We truly enjoyed the cleanliness and comfort of the place and look forward to staying here again.
We rented both places, and our group had a great time. The house is clean and spacious, with plenty of nooks and crannies for a lot of people and things. We used one of the grills and the back fire pit without any issues.
We enjoyed the stay here. Very nicely design and enough space for 17 people.
I really like the separate one bedroom condo and I probably go again only to book that separate Pine condo.
Definitely I will recommend other and will go there again.
The hosts are incredibly nice and great to work with. They make check-in and check-out processes easy to follow and clear. Their rental is very nice and has new carpets! We have stayed here several times in the past and we will continue to in the future!

Hello Ski Team! We truly enjoy hosting your group year over year. You always treat our home with great respect and we look forward to your return!
We rented this cottage to spend the holidays with our family and it was perfect. The rooms were comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, the cottage was overall super cozy and the surrounding forest was lovely. Communicating with the owners was a real pleasure as they were responsive and helpful. I would rent this chalet again without a doubt.

It was a pleasure hosting your group! We are glad you got some good winter sports time in. Please come again!
My group of friends had a wonderful time at the property. Everything from the booking to checking out was a great experience: from accommodating hosts who always responded promptly to my inquiries, to the house itself that was beautiful and super comfortable for a guitea large group of 10 adults. Also a great location - so close to High Peaks and Lake Placid! Thank you Marty and Melissa for letting us stay at your place! We definitely be back in the future!!!
The chalet was exactly what we were looking for a quick getaway. Location was easy to get to Lake Placid and trail head of Algonquin peak. Covered bridge at Jay was very unique and it was fun to play in the river. The owner was very friendly and helpful. They responded our inquiries really quick. Easy check in and out. Beds are very comfortable. The two kitchens are equipped with everything we need. Washrooms are clean and nice. We enjoyed our stay in the chalet very much. Highly recommended.

We are so happy you enjoyed your stay! You were great guests and you are always welcome back!
My family and I traveled up to Lake Placid to ski and celebrate a birthday. Everything was as expected, with the exception of how nice things were. The property has def been renovated, so the pictures may not be 100% accurate, but that’s a good thing, right? Def would consider coming back.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay and always love coming back to the Adirondacks! The hosts were very friendly and responsive to my inquiries, even calling me moments after I reached out about an issue. Access was also provided to a local, private trail system, which was awesome! We loved the theming in the house and the large dining table in the kitchen! The layout of the house is more separated, which is probably great for many groups, but was a little difficult for us with several younger children in our group. There was a lot of dust and some trash left behind, as well as some broken or dirty items. The outdoor furniture was extremely dirty, far beyond what I would expect, and with an understanding that it’s outdoor furniture. Most could not be used but we did wipe down some of the less dirty ones and enjoyed a fire one night. Despite the cleanliness concerns in some areas, we still really enjoyed our stay and greatly appreciated the hosts!

This property afforded a perfect day in the Adirondack mountains for our extended family weeklong getaway. Quite spacious, more space than is really visible from the pictures. Both the joining properties offered plenty of room for our four family units with 12 children combined. We found the inside clean. Beautiful newish carpet. Nice furniture. Clean linens. Excellent washer and dryer. Beautiful bathrooms. Nice kitchen adequately stocked. We did find that the outside could use some care. We had to perform some of our own cleaning around the doorsteps, which were piled with leaves, dirt, pinestraw, and the grills were quite messy. Yard furniture was messy and some broken. But this did not detract from our experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better location as far as ease of access to hiking, the Ausable river, Jay, Wilmington, Lake Placid, Ausable Gorge. Very short drive to so many excellent opportunities. Plenty of opportunity for adventure in the area. Would definitely come back. Hosts were kind and great communicators. Price was one of the best in the state. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!!
