About this property
Logan Circle Historic Raw House 1800 sf.ft
Hi everyone!
I'm new to VRBO, however, I've been hosting on the other platform for over 3 years. Please feel free to ask me for a link to read my guests' reviews.
Me and my husband share our time between Phoenix and DC with DC being our second home. We're looking forward to sharing it with those who are coming to DC for 4-6 weeks.
Our place is situated on a quiet street just by the Logan Circle Park right in the hearth of DC.
It’s a very safe neighborhood and you can walk literary everywhere - trendy and busy 14th street with the best DC restaurants, White House is 15-20 min walk, Downtown - 20 min walk, The Mall and numerous museums - 20-25 min walk.
Wholefoods, Sweetgreen, Shack-Shack, CVS, numerous coffee shops, gym (Vida Fitness), CrossFit gym, 2 yoga studious, beauty salons (hair and nails), dry cleaning, liquor shops, Studio Theatre, and trendiest restaurants including Le Diplomate - everything is 4-5 minutes walk from the house.
City bike station is located nearby.
House:
We bought this house not only because of the great location but also for its unique character. The house was built in 1891 and still has a lot of original features that we tried to save along with bringing some modern updates.
What you will find: height ceilings (10-12 ft), original hardwoods, doors, fireplaces and moldings, old front door and stairs; big windows and a lot of natural light; separate living room, dining room, kitchen and a full bath on the first floor; three separate bedrooms and a full bath on a second floor.
The house is quiet and situated on a small street so you mostly don’t hear any city noise at night.
The kitchen has pretty much everything you need to make a meal you’d probably make in your own house - enough dishes and cooking utensils, enough pans and pots, a variety of spices.
The kitchen has a Nespresso coffee machine (original) and you also have an option to make yourself a pour-over or Chemex with freshly ground beans.
You’ll find plenty of the toiletries in the bathroom, as well as two hair driers and a curling iron (ladies, I’ve got you covered!).
The living room has a big TV with Direct TV access, the second TV is located on the second floor in one of the bedrooms.
Self-check-in with a keypad + app ( open and lock the door with your phone)
