4BR/3BA with Game Room - Great Tahoe Donner location

Please note: The Town of Truckee has established a strict maximum of 10 people over the age of 13 for short term rentals of a 4 bedroom home. Although our capacity is 14 people, at least 4 must be 12 years old or younger if you plan to bring the maximum.

Set amid the tranquil pines in lower Tahoe Donner, our beautifully remodeled 4BR/3BA home promises a relaxing retreat. Soaring ceilings, stylish alpine decor with lots of natural light fill the home with warmth.

Play a round of pool or darts in the family game room or sit on the back deck and play a game of life-size Jenga, or just relax and enjoy the peaceful views. With 3 bedrooms upstairs and a large bunk room downstairs, our home can accommodate up to 3 families comfortably.

LIVING AREAS
Plenty of social space throughout in the 2500 square foot home. The first floor family room/game room has a pool table, dart board and a 50" in TV perfect for family hangouts. Play a board game at the card table or grab a book and stretch out on the leather sofa and chairs.

Upstairs, the great room which includes the living room, dining room and kitchen is the social heart of the home. Vaulted ceiling, big windows and a wood burning stove create a welcoming vibe, while a large sectional sofa provides a comfortable spot to watch your favorite shows on the 55" TV.

KITCHEN AND DINING
Prepare your favorite foods in the modern kitchen with high-end appliances, granite tile countertops and plenty of cabinet space and all the accessories you'll need. The dining room table seats 10 and the large-sized island has seating for 4.

BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
The two story home sleeps 14 guests* in 4 bedrooms. *Please note that per Town of Truckee rules we are only allowed to host 10 people over the age of 12.
On the lower floor adjacent to the game room is a large bunkroom. This room is perfect for an entire family or use it as the kids room. It can sleep up to eight people in the two sets of twin bunk beds and the full over queen bunk bed. The spacious room also has two over-sized bean bag chairs to kick back in and watch your favorite movies on the 40" flat screen TV or play the PS4 or the Wii. The room has an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Upstairs, the master suite provides a king-size bed, a walk-in closet, a huge dresser and a 40" flat screen TV. The master also has an en-suite bathroom with tub/shower combination.

Two additional bedrooms include a queen size bed in one and king size bed in the other. Both rooms are next to the 3rd bathroom which also includes a tub/shower combination.

OUTDOOR AREAS
There are two spacious decks, one downstairs adjacent to the bunkroom with access to the back yard, and a large deck upstairs off the great room. During the spring through fall the upstairs deck has 2 chaise lounges for relaxing, a large expandable table for outdoor dining, and a gas BBQ. You also find a life-size Jenga game for your enjoyment.

EXTRA AMENITIES
Complimentary Wi-Fi is included. In the garage you'll find a bench to sit on and remove your wet boots and boot dryers that can accommodate up to 6 pairs of boots or gloves at a time. there are also plenty of hooks to hang your wet clothes and/or jackets in winter and summer. The two car garage includes over-sized garage doors that can accommodate cars/SUVs with roof racks.

LOCATION
The home is in a quiet wooded neighborhood just two miles from Trout Creek Recreation Center where guests can enjoy year round swimming pools and hot tubs along with a fitness center and sauna/steam room (a nominal fee applies).

Approximately 150 yards down the street is a trail-head to access the recently renovated 1 and 1/2 mile Nature Loop Trail.

If dining out, drive just 3 minutes to either The Lodge Restaurant & Pub for a bistro-style menu in a classic lodge setting or go to Pizza on the Hill offers dinner alongside an interactive playroom complete with foosball, shuffleboard and other games.

Beautiful downtown Truckee is less than 10 minutes away with numerous dining options and shops. Donner Lake is just a 7 minute drive.

The location is ideal for accessing a variety of different world class ski resorts. Northstar, Squaw Valley, Alpine, Sugar Bowl and Boreal are all 20 minutes or less away, and Donner Ski Ranch is just a 5 minute drive and is perfect for beginners.
