Great relaxing spot!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully redone home near the shore of Lake St Claire. Even though it was about an hour drive to some tourist attractions in Detroit, we loved coming back to the quiet, relaxed fee of this spot!

Great Canal House

We had a great time staying here during our fishing weekend. The location was just what we were looking for; close to some good fishing areas, good restaurants, & some fun nearby areas for the ladies to explore. The ability to keep our boat in the canal was perfect for our fisherman. Tim was great to deal with and we would stay here again!

MID Michigan College - BASS Fishing Team

Great location for us as we stayed for a college bass fishing tournament. You can easily park 2 bass boats (truck/trailer). We did manage to park 3 all together each evening. Tim is great and property is very well kept. We ate dinner both nights down the road at Johnnie Lega's Bar - great burgers and friendly staff. Kroger is not too far down the road for loading the fridge!

We had two families here and very much enjoyed our stay. We have rented through Vrbo about 15 times, this house was one of the best in terms of the house being stocked with the essentials and overall comfort. Tim was very easy to work with and accommodating. We were initially hesitant to book because of the owner living above the garage, but it felt like a completely separate unit and wasn’t an issue at all. We will be back sometime

Bass Fishing Trip

The property was perfect for what we expected which was a quiet place to relax after a long day of fishing. It felt like a home away from home. The property definitely would have been great for a larger group but it was just the two of us. We would highly recommend this home for anyone taking a trip to Lake St Claire, and if we do head back, we would definitely stay here again. Thank you Tim!!

Best place to stay away from home

Jim place is clean and comfortable. My family of 5 stayed there New Year’s Eve until the new year 2021 in here . We enjoyed each other’s company. The heating system was perfect and cozy . Beds were comfortable. We had Enough room and space to move around . Furniture was comfortable. & very good quality. This place felt like home and we treated it like it was our home. The place is a state of the art inside and outside. Beautiful site on the premises outside . We walked to the beautiful lake 2 min as stated. . This place is one of the best I have ever stayed . We will return .Jim hospitality is superb . Thank you Jim for all that you do .

Great House with Water Access

My stay was great at this house. The owner Tim was easy to work with and made our check-in / check-out easy. The house was clean and clearly well maintained. The space was great and the canal and dock made it easy to dock our boat and get out on the water. Note, the canal is narrow but manageable in our 21ft boat.
