About this property

This is a newly renovated, 1-bedroom apartment in Middletown's desirable Easton's Point neighborhood. The unit has a full kitchen, master bedroom with a queen sized bed, full-sized fold out couch, its own driveway, separate entry, and a private partially covered deck. The apartment is best suited for a couple, or a couple with young children. It is located within a half-mile walking distance of two Atlantic beaches: Newport's First/Easton's Beach, and Middletown's Second/Sachuest Beach. We are also a short two miles from Newport's famed Bellevue Avenue. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. The shed contains boogie boards and two bicycles for your enjoyment. This is a beautiful apartment that you will have difficulty saying goodbye to!

Great location

Lovely unit well equipped and so close to everything. Property was in a lovely quiet neighbourhood and although attached to the main house our privacy was totally respected. The welcome book had some wonderful information for things to do and see along with dining recommendations. Having no idea of the area we really valued this local knowledge and enjoyed ticking off all the owners suggestions. Great value for Newport, we really enjoyed our stay.

Newport for New Years

Thoroughly enjoyed the convienent location and the few minutes drive to downtown shops and the Cliff Walk. One could walk to the beach and enjoy the fun associated with the Polar Plunge on New Year's Day. For a very competitive price the "apartment" provided a full kitchen, with all of the necessities that made eating in a pleasure. The bathroom was large with a twin vanity. Everything was so clean... floors, cabnets, appliances.

Comfortable and close to everything

We were in town for a wedding, the host was proactive in reaching out to us and making sure we had everything we needed. Large bathroom was a game changer!

Michael and Diane are both lifelong residents of Aquidneck Island, and take great pride in our home and our neighborhood.

Why they chose this property

This is the owner's childhood home, where he grew up with 4 brothers and his mom and dad of course. Michael and his wife Diane moved back to this house in 1997 and built the apartment for his mother Fay. They spent the next 20 years together with Fay, and raised their children there, until Fay's passing in 2017. It is a lovely residential neighborhood in a beautiful area of the state. Besides being close to two beaches, close by there are also nature trails, golf courses, and farm stands. Right down the hill are several family-friendly restaurants.
