Papakea is an oceanfront resort offering direct beach access at the south end of the property—perfectly situated on Maui’s sunny West Side in Honokōwai, just minutes from Ka’anapali. The condo is located in building C.
I'm Sue, and I would love to welcome you to our studio condo at Papakea. I have many years of property management experience. I have also enlisted my son's good friend, Ryan, to help me host. He has hundreds of top reviews and years of experience living and working in Maui. Together, we are always available to help our guests experience the best Maui has to offer.
The floor-to-ceiling windows facing the lanai open to garden views nestled beside a fish pond and sprinkling waterfall. The luxurious king bed, warm wood accents, and classic Asian island-inspired decor create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that will instantly put you at ease.
The gorgeous oceanfront paradise of Papakea expands over 13 acres of fish-filled lagoons, quaint bridges, beautiful lawns, and colorful tropical landscaping at the edge of North Kaanapali Beach and Honokōwai. Each evening, Tiki torches light up the property for an exquisite Hawaiian tropical ambiance. There is direct access to a sandy beach at the South end of the property, about a 5-minute walk from the condo. Enjoy swimming, snorkeling, turtle spotting, boogie boarding, paddle boarding, and whale watching (during whale season) as well as incredible sunsets. Please note, beach sand levels can vary depending on the season and weather conditions.

*There are several rental shops for snorkeling gear within 3 minutes of the condo building. Sorry, I don’t provide snorkeling gear due to safety and hygiene.

**Check-in/out**
The condo is self-check-in. I usually send detailed instructions one week before your arrival date. The door uses a personalized electronic key code. Check-in is anytime after 4 pm and check-out is anytime before 10 am. You must stop by the front desk to pick up a parking pass. They will also swipe a credit card for a $50 fully refundable deposit in the event of incidentals.
**LAHAINA FIRE**
The condo is in a beautiful area north of the fire, and all restaurants, buildings, and beaches were undamaged. This is also the case for the surrounding neighborhoods. All of my favorite beaches were untouched, and there are tons of great restaurants in Ka'anapali, Honokōwai, Kahana, Napili, and Kapalua, just minutes from the condo. The road to Hana and my favorite hikes are still open and will likely be less crowded than they used to be.
**MAJOR USA HOLIDAYS**
Reservations checking in/out ON THE DAY OF: Thanksgiving Day (November), Christmas Day (12/25), New Year's Day (01/01), Easter, and July 4th will be subject to an additional $200 cleaning surcharge to provide my housekeeper holiday pay. If you check in/out the day before or after, there is no surcharge.
