Just a few things subpar: bedframe had been pulled apart, maybe by housekeeping, still needs attention (I fixed it good enough to use bed); and dimmer switches in kitchen don't work well (too old or not suited for LED bulbs.)Air conditioning is great. Our previous 3 stays at Napili Shores were pre-AC.

Great location

We love staying in Evelyn’s condo. Evelyn is very responsive to any needs and keeps her place clean with ample storage and supplies. The walk to the ocean is easy plus a view of it from the condo. We are repeat guests and plan to come back.

Wonderful & Relaxing

We had an amazing stay here and would highly recommend spending your vacation time here. The condo was perfect and in such a great location. Evelyn was excellent at communicating with us especially as there was so much uncertainty about staying up here after the fire. I will say that you should not hesitate to come to Maui and the locals are so hopeful that you do. They were kind and wonderful as we stayed here and also eager to have their jobs back as so many work in the hospitality/ tourism industry.

Top notch condo with an outstanding host

A bright and cheery condo with a crisp clean appeal. 5 of us fit comfortably...shower was really good...pressure was more than we have had in previous condos. A good working blow dryer was supplied. Air conditioning was excellent as well. New keurig coffee maker was a nice touch to the well supplied kitchen. Evelyn was exceptional. She was prompt and replied quickly when we had inquires. Her efforts to make our stay comfortable exceeded our expectations. We will definitely stay at aunty Evs again! We have been to Napili Shores property a number of times....such a great location and a place to make memories!

Great place for a well earned rest.

Overall, this place really fit the bill. My bandmates and I came in late after a show completely exhausted, and the kind security staff escorted us to our room when we arrived after midnight. If not for that kindness, who knows how long we'd have wandered before we collaped on the grass from exhaustion. The room was comfy and we slept well. However, the furniture had to be moved in order to use both pullout beds. We were extremely grateful for a clean, comfortable place to sleep after a long night.

Perfect location and everything promised

We rented this property for a family vacation it was everything we had hoped for. It was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and great location. The only issue we had was how hot it was . Maui was having record heat and the unit didn’t have air conditioning. Usually in Hawaii that is ok but we just happened on a heat wave. Overall, we have no complaints.

Napili Shores

This is the 4th time renting this property. Has been updated since last visit. Due to the increase in price it will probably be my last. A almost 30% percent increase is rather high in one year.

Lovely condo close to the beach

This condo fit the needs of our family of five perfectly! It was very clean and well appointed with easy access to the beach. Evelyn was great to work with and very responsive. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing!

Evelyn’s place is absolutely incredible, myself and my 4 year old came to visit for a week and it was amazing, Evelyn herself was very attentive to any questions I had and her place was perfectly furnished, beach towels, extra beach gear, just steps from the beach, two pools, a hot tub, two restaurants on site, a snorkel rental spot and the coolest part being obviously the sea turtles every morning! Every morning my son and I would walk down and watch the sea turtles, and we got lucky with a bunch of rainbows too! Will certainly be staying here again! We loved it!

Excellent Place

Our stay was amazing and the place was as good as advertised. Very clean and well kept. Check-in and check-out were as easy as could be. Short walk to the beach and snorkeling with turtles everyday was a huge plus. Can’t wait to come back and visit Napili Bay.

Location!

We had a wonderful stay at Napili Shores. The proximity to the beach is fabulous. Turtles! We love the area and have stayed in several condos in this complex over the years. It’s very quiet and relaxing. My husband and I had our 2 adult daughters with us here for part of the trip. The 4 of us were very comfortable. We enjoyed the Gazebo restaurant, snorkelling, watching turtles, sunsets over Molokai and the swimming pools/hot tub. The communication with Evelyn was excellent.

Turtles and hot tubs

We loved staying at Napili Shores. Every morning I woke up and walked the beach, heading to the bay to say "good morning" to my turtle friends. We watched the sunset every evening from the pool, used the hot tub, and had breakfast at the Gazebo restaurant on property (highly recommend). When I let Evelyn know about a leaky faucet, she quickly sent a plumber to fix it. Everyone who stayed at the property was friendly from guests to workers. We met so many people in the hot tub, and used the outdoor grills regularly (which were maintained and cleaned daily). We did day trips to the blowhole, as well as hikes over near Wai'hee Ridge. A beautiful area, and impossible not to relax.

Great spacious 1 bedroom unit !!

We would highly recommend this unit!! We have stayed at Napili Shores many times. This was the first time we were on the upper level. The unit was great!! It feels bigger than the lower units because of the high ceilings. Evelyn was great and very responsive to us!! Check-in was easy and love the keypad entry. So nice to not have to always be looking for the key! The unit was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Linens were great. Even had beach towels. Very appreciative of the beach chair, umbrella, snorkeling equipment, boogie board & portable ice chest. Kitchen had everything we needed and really appreciated the extra cabinet space for food etc. Again, the unit was perfect for the 10 days we were there!!

We Loved Napili Shores

The Napili Shores is a hidden treasure nestled behind Napili Bay, offering a truly remarkable location in Maui. The unit was very clean, spacious, and had a beautiful 1-bedroom layout with a queen bed and two pullouts, along with a well-equipped kitchen. The grounds are beautifully manicured and featured koi ponds, pools, restaurants, BBQ areas and direct access to the beach. Our host, Evelyn, was truly exceptional, going above and beyond to ensure our safety during the devastating wildfires in Lahaina Town which happened during our stay. She extended our stay at no charge until we could safely leave/get a flight out and regularly checked in on us. She was very easy to reach and kept us updated during the tragic wildfires. Despite the tragedy, the sense of community and resilience we witnessed amongst the resort staff and other guests was awe inspiring. We plan to return to Napili Shores as soon as we can and support those affected. Maui, thank you for the unforgettable memories. Lahaina will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Great family time

We enjoyed our stay at Napili Shores. We enjoyed having a fantastic beach to walk to each day. A short walk over to Kapalua as well. The air conditioning was very welcome, makes sleeping very comfortable. Seemed to be more younger families staying here. The grounds were well kept and lots of grassy area to play as well. Our teenage kids enjoyed having separate pull out couches. Kitchen was well furnished except no BBQ utensils. Definitely would come again

Why they chose this property

My daughter and I took a trip to Maui and had breakfast at the famous Gazebo restaurant and looked at the room and resort.
A friend has stayed at this resort yearly and has always raved about it.
We were staying in a big concrete name brand resort, where parking was expensive and very far from our room; the walk to the pool was complicated and far; the whole building was very impersonal.
When we walked through this resort, we fell in love with the vintage simplicity and real Hawaii feel. I knew I could live here and feel safe and stress free.
