Residence: A stone's throw from the plateau of Beille, in the heart of the valleys of Ax, in Haute-Ariège, in the small village of Aston, discover the comfort and the welcome of the camping / chalet village 'Le Pas de l'Ours'It's summer! Take a hike with an accompanist to discover the circuits that mark the mountain and admire at the passage high lakes, torrents, waterfalls, fauna and flora... To speed up the pace, travel the mountain by mountain bike, practice canoeing on Ariège, climbing or canyoning with the guides of the Mountain House. More peaceful, introduce yourself to pastoralism and enjoy a farm picnic on the Beille plateau. Not to mention horse riding at the Haras of the Besines with the famous horses of Mérens. In the evening , the campsite offers thematic activities and events in a friendly manner: Ariegian meals, barbecues, karaoke... It's winter! Discover the Nordic plateau of Beille with its 70 km of marked trails and prepared for different practices at the bottom (classical technique and skating), its 2 snowshoe routes, its pedestrian and toboggan tracks. And to perfect the Great North atmosphere, a dog sledding tour is offered by the 'Angaka' adventure base.

It's summer!Want some nature hikes? At 600 m altitude, 'Le Pas de l'Ours' welcomes you at the foot of the Aston Massif. A veritable base camp located on the edge of a torrent, it allows you immediate access to the wild Aston valley with 15,000 hectares of preserved spaces, 30 lakes, its prestigious and transpyrene GR 10, its multiple paths of HRP. For moments of pure escape, visit Orlu Nature Reserve and its House of the Wolves (at 25 minutes) and watch the majestic spectacle of Lordat's eagles (at 20 minutes). But the Ariège also contains hidden treasures: Lombrives, Europe's largest prehistoric cave (10 minutes from the campsite), Les peints rubestres de la grotto de Niaux (20 minutes), the underground river of Labouiche (40 minutes away).It's winter!At 25 minutes from the campsite, make an invigorating and wild escape on the largest northern site in the Pyrenees: the Beille plateau. At 1800 m, this plateau of altitude that has nothing to envy to the large spaces of Vosges and Jura, guarantees snow and breathtaking landscapes! And if you're into cross-country skiing in the forest, go to the Chioula resort. For a more alpine slide, direction the Ax valleys. You are only 15 minutes away from the Ax Three Areas teleport where you can practice all the new slides.
