Poipu Shores 106A is a lovely condo overlooking the shimmering ocean. Relax on your lanai and watch the sunset into the Pacific Ocean as you listen to the waves crashing outside or watch for seasonal whales from your expansive oceanfront view. This is a great way to unwind from a day at the beach or exploring the beautiful island of Kauai. In the morning wake up and have breakfast and coffee on the lanai. Poipu Shores has some of the best views on the south shore with condos that are built on an outcropping looking down Poipu's coast. A heated swimming pool hovers above the edge of the ocean.

The air conditioned living room is beautifully decorated in Hawaiian furniture. Open the sliding doors to the oceanfront lanai to Enjoy the ocean breezes. Dine in the dining room or enjoy eating on the lanai to the sound of the waves and spectacular ocean views.

The oceanfront air conditioned master bedroom has a comfortable king size bed and a full bath complete with walk-in shower and private dressing area. The second bedroom with no air conditioning has a beautiful tropical garden setting right outside has a king bed and full bathroom. A laundry area completes the layout of this wonderful condo.

The fully equipped kitchen is a chef's delight. Prepare meals while savoring views of crashing waves. You will want to visit the local Sunshine Markets for fresh produce to include in your culinary creations. The gas BBQ area is conveniently located outside your door.

There are many activities nearby to enjoy, including seasonal swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, surfing, paddle boarding, windsurfing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, boat tours and flightseeing aboard helicopters.

Awesome Rental

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful condo with a first floor location right on the ocean with crashing waves and splashing spray. We got an incredible feeling of the power of the Pacific. We easily walked to the heated pool-also ocean side. We had 2 full bedrooms and baths with ceiling fans if needed. A fully stocked kitchen even with coffee filters. The sitting room with couches for us although we spent most of our time outside. Beautiful sunsets. Close to restaurants. We loved this property. They Even left us coffee and cookies so we could survive long enough to visit the supermarket. They thought of everything. We would love to come back !

Location and amenitues

From seeing sea turtles sand dolphins swimming by, right from our deck, to the explosion of waves crashing on the rocks and up the sea wall, we have been in awe.The kitchen was amazingly organized and complete with everything we needed- and more.The bedrooms, living snd dining area, all well done. Plenty of towels- and lots of extas.And the pool was sparkling clean and a comfortable temperature. We hope to come back here again.

Always Perfect!

This is the 4th trip to this condo complex. It is perfect. we love the lanai, the pool, the turtles and the quick walk to Poipu Beach. This unit was cozy and perfect for our family. Look forward to next year's visit!

Well kept condo with the best possible sunset view SW. We lived the grass area to spread out. Although not needed, AC was nice at night to cool off the master bedroom a bit. Appreciated that there was beach chairs and a boogie board, may want to tell guests before they fly in (they may already do).

Spectacular Stay

We were welcomed with a lovely gift bag, a small cooler bag and a bottle of cold champagne - a lovely touch. The view from the lanai is spectacular and we enjoyed watching the whales. The condo was well stocked both in the kitchen and with beach accessories. A two minute walk to the beach made sunsets magical - with seals and turtles joining us each evening. Loved every minute. Mahalo!

Amazing location

The location was amazing. You are constantly surrounded by spectacular views. We have stayed in this area of Poipu before and this unit is in our top 3 locations. We will be back. The condo would be a bit small with 4 adults but perfect for a family. The condo is nicely maintained and comfortable. It was hotter than normal for Kauai but the air conditioned unit provided a great reprieve at the end of the day.

Great location!

Right in front of the shore where we can hear the wave. The swimming pool is over looking rocky shore where many turtles come, and we check them out every day. It was our third year staying at Poipu Shores (1bdrm unit in the first year) and second year in this property (2bdrm). The management company is very helpful - I forgot my personal thing and they sent it to me right away. Thank you so much! We just love this place! Looking forward to going there next year!
