About this property
Leavenworth cabin for maximum 4 people, with treehouse gazebo hot tub.
This charming and spacious cozy cabin (The Lookout) for 4 people (*see house rules for more information) has so much to offer. Relax in your private hot tub in the tree house gazebo, nestled in the trees. Outside on the wrap around deck in the warmer weather, enjoy using the barbecue with lounging chairs surrounding gas fire pit. (spring and fall only, when no burn ban is in effect.) Prepare a feast or simple meal in the spacious kitchen inside with full amenities-- dishwasher, microwave, farmhouse sink and large refrigerator: there's even a spice drawer and baking tins. Eat dinner either inside around the large dining table, or outside at the patio table. In the colder months, after dinner, enjoy a warm, crackling fire in the wood-burning stove (bring your own Presto logs! :). Spend the morning in the reading nook with a cup of coffee made from the Keurig machine (pods provided!), or watch a new movie you've streamed online using Fiber Optic WiFi. Choose a movie to watch from the DVD collection, or bring your own movies to enjoy on the DVD player. A second TV in the master bedroom allows for WiiU gaming downstairs and a great movie upstairs! A selection of games and puzzles are yours to use. Kids can also enjoy either playing on the Wii downstairs, or a fun game of Foosball upstairs, which has two bedrooms plus double trundle pullout bed in sleeping alcove. Both bedrooms have air conditioning to keep you cool during the hot August nights. Two bathrooms upstairs, one bathroom plus full laundry room downstairs. 15% discount for stays of 7 days or more. Housebroken dogs over the age of 1 okay--maximum two dogs. $50 if you bring Fido. No cats, please.
The Lookout is centrally located: 10 minutes from Lake Wenatchee or Fish lake, minutes away from Wenatchee National Forest with miles and miles of trails: perfect for snowshoeing or cross country skiing in winter or biking and hiking in summer or fall. (Trail maps and day hiking guide book available in the cabin). Snowmobile or cross country ski right out the door to trails just down the road! 10 minutes from the quaint Plain hardware store/espresso stand/gift shop, or the amazing Plain Cellars winery. Come enjoy the gorgeous fall leaves in October, or Christmas lighting in December: only 30 minutes from the beautiful and breathtaking Bavarian-style town of Leavenworth. If downhill skiing or snowboarding is more your pace, Steven's Pass in only 30 minutes away.
Peace, relaxation and fun await you at The Lookout.
**Note: there is one camera mounted on the carport and pointed at the driveway, for safety and security reasons. There are NO cameras anywhere else, including the inside of the cabin.
3-night minimum stay for federal holiday weekends (ex: Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.) 2-night minimum all other times.

About the host
Hosted by Shauna

We are a family of 3 from Everett/Mukilteo, WA. Our son is 17 and loves it here at the cabin! I'm a Canadian who married an American from Montana. My husband Tim is an engineer. I teach English as a Second Language to immigrants and refugees at a local college.
Why they chose this property
We chose this property in the Leavenworth area because there is so much to do here! The cabin is a 10 minute drive from Lake Wenatchee, the quaint and central Plain hardware store, and Plain Cellars winery. It's also only 30 minutes from Leavenworth and Steven's Pass. In the winter, we are able to snowmobile, snowshoe, and cross country ski directly from the cabin with access to the Wenatchee national forest just down the street. So fun and very convenient! In the summer we bicycle right from the cabin and head into the forest service trails. There are an abundance of hiking trails in the area as well. In Autumn the leaf colors are amazing as well. We also love looking in all the fun shops of Leavenworth, and getting ice cream with my son. We chose the cabin because from the first time I entered it, it reminded me of my childhood cabin--it had that cabin-y cedar smell and looked so cozy and welcoming.
What makes this property unique
We love the cabin look with walls made of pine, and the modern, clean look of the kitchen/living room area. Also attractive to us is the welcoming
wrap-around deck with 3 seating areas (we added a fire pit, too, to be used in spring and fall!), and the gazebo-style hot tub and peaceful setting in the trees.
