Wonderfull holiday house with lovely owners

We had a great family holiday in a wonderfull holiday house with lovely owners. The house has a coverd porch overlooking the beautyfull swimming pool which ensures comfort all day long. It is a calm environment which invites to relax but many interesting trips are possible. The landlords are very friendly and have provided us with insider tips regarding the area, for example hiking to the top of the Pic Saint Loup which was a highlight!

Holiday house in the hot South

Our family booked the house for 7 nights but choose to leave after 4 nights due to the heat (up to 37C); it was simply just too much for us. There is a great salt water pool which you share with the owners (they only used it once while we were there). Their house is right opposite the holiday house, on the other side of the pool, around 12m. Although they respected our privacy as much as possible, for us their house was much closer than anticipated. Unfortunately, the washing machine did not work but the owner offered to do our laundry. As twice shared with Martine, the house was not clean (e.g. breadcrumbs and hairs in the cutlery drawer, food leftovers on the cutlery, sticky pots and pans, old and very dirty dishwasher with also food leftovers, dirty cupboards, dusty); this influenced our stay negatively. We were surprised by the €1.000,- cash deposit which felt excessive for this house. This was not in the information we received (Martine showed that this is stated in the French version). Stephane is more than willing to help you explore the region.

Sorry for your bad feeling; the summer temperature here is always high in July and August; regarding the washing machine, we didn't want to bother you during your stay and changed it just after as we couldn't fix it; I don't know what to tell you about the cutlery, pots and pans which were not clean; it is difficult for me to check between each tenant if the dishes have been done properly but I will check better, thank you for the comment ; a dog was present just before you which may have left traces that I had not seen. The deposit is deliberately high to act as a dissuasion and, as you pointed out, it was clearly indicated in the French version that I showed you; I've added it elsewhere for greater visibility ; I have always given it back but the one time that I didn't take it, the repair work was more extensive; as far as you are concerned, you didn't pay it, so it doesn't concern you. Thank you for Stephane who is always happy to point out our favourite walks and places to visit in our region. I hope you will have the opportunity to return to our beautiful region at another time of the year.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette très belle maison, parfaitement conforme aux photos et à la description. Tout était agréable, propre et très bien entretenu.Les hôtes sont vraiment accueillants, disponibles et d’une grande gentillesse. Ils ont toujours été prêts à nous renseigner et à nous conseiller lorsque nous en avions besoin. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié qu’ils nous proposent de partager avec eux une balade au coucher du soleil, une attention vraiment sympathique qui a rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable.Un grand merci également pour leur gentillesse envers notre chien, qui a lui aussi été très bien accueilli. Nous recommandons cette location sans hésitation et nous y retournerions avec grand plaisir !

Nous voulions un endroit tranquille avec piscine et c'est exactement ce que nous avons eu. Maison fonctionnelle et assez grande pour une famille de 5. Piscine top. Hôtes très accueillants et connaissants très bien leur région.Leur petite chienne est adorable.

Heerlijk vakantie

Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. De airco werkt top. Het zwembad is schoon en netjes. De eigenaren zijn vriendelijk, behulpzaam en correct. Alles voor een heerlijke vakantie. Voor lange mensen zijn de bedden wel kort maar wij hebben ons prima gered. Ligbedden top en diverse zitjes. Zowel zon als schaduw.

Pour visiter Montpellier et Nîmes

Parfait pour visiter les environs de Montpellier et de Nîmes. Sommieres, ville avec tous commerces et très agréable, n'est qu à quelques kilomètres. Logement très fonctionnel, disposant de 2 salles d eau.

Lieu au calme mais pas isolé des commodités. Maison très spacieuse, avec tout le confort moderne. Superbe piscine, la récompense après des visites touristiques sous le soleil. Stéphane et Martine, les propriétaires, sont très accueillants,discrets, sympas, aiment partager l amour de leur région.

Jolie coin de campagne au calme Un accueil chaleureux de la proprietaire Toute les commodités dans la maison (lave vaisselle. 2 salles de douche. Belle terrasse avec barbecue baby-foot transat et piscine. Lit confortable) Le plus un accueil aussi chaleureux est réservé à nos compagnons à 4 pattes avec du terrain pour qu'ils courent et tout clôturer
