Ready or Knot was designed to create fun Chelan memories and makes for a great family getaway or couple’s retreat. This home is centrally directly off of the Lookout's Central Park. Just take a short stroll to both pools, park, sports court or lake to make memories that last. A well-appointed deck with relaxing lake and mountain views allow you to sit back, roast marshmallows and take in the Chelan breeze with a large lot that allows for privacy. A fully fenced backyard makes it easy to keep the kiddos or pooches nearby as you enjoy the deck.

This cozy retreat features vaulted ceilings with a modern lake house getaway design. Cozy up in the bright and airy 918 sq ft of living which includes a master bedroom featuring a queen-sized luxury pillowtop mattress and fully appointed kitchen equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay, including additional amenities for pups. The upstairs loft is a 306 sq/ft space newly designed to feel like you are glamping! The loft is accessed by ship ladder (see pics). Equipped with two twin beds and a memory foam futon, this area sleeps 3 comfortably with room to play plus is equipped with dual TVs featuring a variety of movies, XBOX one and games. Finally, a temperature controlled, fully furnished garage dubbed the "Canoe Club" will be your favorite game room with lake views, game table, couches to watch movies, Xbox one, ping pong table, air hockey, games, books, snow sleds, 2 kids scooters, pool floaties, and dartboard. Amenities for little ones are on hand too with a baby gate, portable highchair, plastic dishware and toys.

Smart TV’s are located in the living room, game room and the loft plus hundreds of movies are on hand for a movie night in. A well-equipped kitchen and an outside BBQ makes your favorite meals easy to prepare. Four barstools are located at the kitchen counter, our entertainment console converts into a dining nook and seating for 6+ is available on the deck for quick and easy meals. Need to distance learn or work from Chelan? No problem, we have ample WIFI that reaches the whole house, game room and deck. You'll find great spaces to work in the game room, console table.
On the spacious outdoor deck you’ll enjoy spectacular lake views, patio table, outdoor sectional, fire table, light up umbrella, and BBQ waiting for a night under the stars. You won’t soon forget the gorgeous lake views and brightly colored sunsets as you lounge deck side. Guests can also enjoy the exclusive seating area at the top of the yard with a full up lake vista and comfortable lounging in 4 Adirondack chairs, while soaking up the sunset view.

This was an amazing property to stay at. Everything was extremely well stocked and we brought our dogs which worked out great. The gated area was perfect for the dogs to run around while we sat by the fire and had a glass of wine.

Our teens turned off their devices and spent hours in the game room playing ping pong, darts, air hockey and hanging out. The resort grounds, pool and beach were beautiful. Would be fun with kids as well, as long as they don't mind sharing sleeping and bathroom space. Clean, beautiful views, creative and fun decor. Just missing a coffee grinder in the kitchen and wash cloths in the bathroom. Would definitely stay again just the two of us, or even for a girls or solo retreat. Can't beat the view from the deck and couch! Fun games in garage space and loft too.

The garage game room was the perfect escape from the heat when we were done playing in the water. The hillside perch was perfect in the evenings to watch the sunset and enjoy the cool breeze. Highly recommend for families with older children or teens (the ladder going up to the loft isn't good for small kids or older adults).The property is centrally located - only a few steps from the main park and pool and just around the corner from the lake shuttle.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Lookout has everything we wanted...private beach, amazing pools, breathtaking views of the lake and the stars and quiet at nighttime. We enjoyed swimming the pools and lake during the day and sitting by the gas fireplace on the deck at night to watch the sunset. One pool was mostly 3 feet so perfect for my 6 year old to swim safely. The house was modern, clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. We walked to town a couple times for coffee but we loved how the Lookout was away from all the craziness of downtown. This place had it all. We can’t wait to go back.

However, our house was not ready at 4 pm the day we were supposed to check in, our A/C went out (happened to be 95 degrees that day/evening - however, they did fix it within 24 hours), and they never came to get a huge hornets next on the patio (would have taken care of it myself but there was no Raid and they kept telling me they would come, so we did not get to use that for a few nights).

It is centrally located within the community itself, which made it easy to experience all that the community has to offer. The house was clean, well-appointed, and stocked with everything we needed. There were a few blinds that were broken and would not close, and the patio and patio furniture needs some attention (e.g., paint worn off on the deck, one of the dining chairs was broken and wobbly), but these are very minor critiques and did not detract from the stay. I wish the upstairs loft was more accessible, as the space is great once you are up there, but the steep ladder is not for the faint of heart. The garage game room was a fantastic perk and a place were we spent a lot of time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Lookout is in a great location near town and the winery’s on the north shore of the lake. Since it was winter, we did not make use of the communities amenities, but there appears to be plenty, including a heated pool we did see a few people in. The community also has a few dog stations throughout, which were very convenient for taking the pup out.The unit itself was in great shape, well stocked, and as described. The game room was a great hangout spot and my daughter loved the loft kids room. The check-in and check-out process went entirely as described. The unit is also very quiet. While the community is still under development, the construction noise was not very noticeable while inside with the windows closed.

Charming Cottage, Outdoor Space Needs Updates

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay at Ready or Knot overall, although some details fell short of expectations. The location is fantastic and the inside areas are well maintained and comfortable. We were staying with kids/teens and they enjoyed the loft and the downstairs game room/hangout space. The kitchen had the bare necessities, although some essential items were lacking (e.g. pizza pan). As other reviews suggest, there is no viable indoor dining option (the folding console is basically a coffee table and there are no chairs provided), so as a group of 6 (max occupancy) we were looking to utilize the patio dining table. Unfortunately, upon arrival we immediately discovered that the patio table umbrella was broken and unusable. We eventually received a replacement from housekeeping, but it was too tall for the table. The barbecue grill was also dirty, which led to our food catching on fire, making it impossible to grill outside. Finally, there seem to be a lot of bees/wasps at this property, partly because of a shrub in the backyard that seems to attract them. The wasps were a nuisance and made eating outside a challenge, which was unfortunate because it's the only dining option and the view from the deck is truly stunning.

Deck was was great.The bed is super small and not much room to get around, and we are a small couple. If we had young kids I would worry about them in the loft-super steep ladder. The game room is a great idea for kids. The location is good. One time my husband had to try multiple times to unlock the door, so I called the number provided and no one answered.Luckily the door finally opened. The chairs at the top of the property are a nice touch. We didn’t use the pools because it was cold Rainy but they looked very nice. The general area is very nicely maintained.

Won’t Stay Here Again

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great!! The bed was comfy. We won’t stay here again though because the house lacked so many basic amenities that I’ve always had in other rentals: no bbq tools, only one set of tongs and very few utensils overall, no food storage (foil/plastic wrap/tupperwares) for leftovers. Guest services did bring some tupperwares over on our 3rd day. The tv must be older as it isn’t able to stream Netflix without being super slow. (We couldn’t even get Netflix to load after the first day.) The biggest disappointment of this home is that there were no towel hooks/rods. A pretty big inconvenience having to hang bath towels over the doors throughout the house. Please remove the the bathroom wall art and install towel hooks. Also, I reached out Guest Services 3 times to have them replace the light above the shower that never worked (no windows in there so it wasn’t very bright), and no one ever came. I finally gave up after the third day of our 5-night stay. For the amount charged for “resort fee” I expect better service. We have stayed at The Lookout annually and this experience was the most disappointing.
