Unfulfilled dream
First impressions are everything, and ours was not good. To begin the apartment lacked the charm one may have gleaned in the online photos. Then there was the dust and grime, and an impression that there had not been an inspection prior to our arrival. As we unpacked to start “living” in the apartment we found the toilet seat and cover were unhinged from the base. Not good. The walls needed painting, the couch was less than comfortable, and aside from 2 small rolls of toilet paper there were no supplies, such as laundry detergent, kitchen soap, etc. What I would deem basic items or at the very least nice touches to have had on a $5,000 rental. The next morning looking to take a shower we found the shower head clogged with mildew, although there was a hand held spray nozzle. Unfortunately a week later our downstairs neighbor came banging on the door to tell us that there was a leak coming from the shower . . UGH!! The rental agent was responsive and had a good support crew that came out and remedied the toilet and shower issues. Thanks. It was good that we had warm weather, as part, if not all of the heating didn't seem to function. There was a small space heater, but that put out barely enough heat to warm the bathroom. Lastly, theTV seemed to have a mind of its own and would disconnect. We finally devised a technique of unplugging and replugging enough cables to reactivate it. I can say the neighborhood was quiet and the washer worked well. :) Would not recommend.

Incredible location
This is a lovely, roomy apartment right between Saint-Sulpice and Jardin de Luxembourg. The owners were incredibly responsive and attentive to my correspondences. The area is incredibly quiet and everything you may want or need is in the vicinity. The apartment was cleaned once a week during my stay, which was unexpected and very much appreciated!
