At just over 3400 square feet, this home has everything one could wish for...including a billiards table, hot tub and an Electric Vehicle charger (phase 2).  This National Parks inspired house, combined with Pottery Barn furniture and accents, creates an inviting atmosphere with the comforts of home.  The floor to ceiling gas rock fireplace is controlled by remote from the comfort of the couch.  With an open mid-level floor plan, a large group can gather in the great room, kitchen and dining room and all be together in the same space yet have plenty of room to spread out.

Main Floor

The main floor consists of a dining room, living room, kitchen, full bathroom, bedroom with Queen bed, and a laundry/mud room that leads out to the back deck.  Just out the back door is a deck with a new Weber gas BBQ and a hot tub to dream about.

Upper Floor

The top floor has a loft with bunk beds (open to living room below) and a large bedroom with a King bed that connects to a bathroom.  The master suite, with King canopy bed and adjoining ensuite bathroom, has a private balcony looking out over the back yard and treed surroundings.

Recreation Room

The recreation room on the bottom floor is 1100 square feet, designed with entertainment in mind.  With books, games, a 62" Wi-Fi connected smart TV, a DVD player and oversized leather sectional, one can unwind and relax after a long day in the mountains.  For additional fun, we've added a Billiards table and air hockey to complete the space.

Important Notes:

Nature: This home is located in a rainforest near the base of a mountain. We have critters both large and small that we share the land with. From Ants to bats, mice and raccoons to Bears and Bobcats, we do everything possible to keep them outside. Please do not leave food or garbage outside, as it looks like a free meal for the wildlife.

Technology:WiFI and Cellular Service: Due to the remote location, cable TV, cellular service, and high-speed internet are not available. The home has free WIFI and a smart TV for streaming your favorite subscription channels. There's also cell phone service near Mt Baker ski area. Wi-Fi is DSL and ranges between 4-9 mbps depending on the time of day and how many people are online.  **Internet service in the Mt. Baker area experiences intermittent outages and these circumstances are beyond our control. Our area is limited to one service provider and we appreciate your understanding with the following policy:  We are unable to offer a refund for accommodations based on WIFI outages, speed or disruptions.

Weather: The mountains provide us with so much to offer, but predictable weather is not one of them. Please be prepared for all types of severe weather from excess heat in the summer to heavy rains in the Spring & Fall and Snow and Ice in the winter. It is highly recommended that you bring a 4-wheel or All wheel drive vehicle in the winter. Due to the potential harsh weather, power outages and internet outages happen from time to time and are out of our control. We do not issue any refunds for loss of power or internet. Please prepare for all types of weather when visiting the mountains.

Groceries: Large grocery runs should be done in Bellingham (about 45 min away).  There are a handful of small mom and pop grocery stops along Mt Baker Highway and we are happy to make recommendations.  Restaurants are extremely limited and are not always open during the slower seasons.  Please come prepared with provisions.

Gated Community / HOA:   About Snowline Community Club
Snowline is a private gated community that borders the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and is one of the closest communities to the Mt. Baker Ski Area.  The community has numerous hiking trails both to Glacier and to the Nooksack River, a children's playground and kickball field.

The HOA requires gate cards for guest access, has rules for quiet hours, leash laws and a no campfire policy.   Parking is limited to the vehicles that fit in the driveway perpendicular to the road.

**Please note that your rental may have limited parking availability. Carpooling may be required. Parking is not permitted on roads within the Snowline, Mt Baker Rim, and Snowater Community. Any fines accrued by the HOA in regards to parking violations are the responsibility of the renter.**
Luxury Getaways is required to register ALL vehicles that will be present on the property during your stay.
