New central air and upgraded Wifi! This second floor balcony overlooks the revered Golden Mile of Myrtle Beach. Newly remodeled with plentiful amenities. 3 private pools, hot tubs and grilling areas. The Golden Mile is described as “the finest section of beach area in Myrtle Beach” surrounded mostly by magnificent homes. Very limited public parking. This provides for a less crowded beach yet is nice walk to the boardwalk. Plenty of shopping and entertainment nearby. No elevator waits or crowds.

2 bedrooms with hotel quality bedding linens. Sleeps 6. Two full baths. Linens and bath accouterments provided.

BR 1: Wake up to the waves in the master bedroom with queen bed and views of the ocean. Private door to the balcony. Room darkening window treatments and the closet has a safe for your valuables. Cable TV and DVD. Private updated bathroom with walk in shower. Quality bath and bed linens provided.

BR 2: Twin over full size bunk bed and TV with DVD. New mattresses, Ironing board and iron in closet.

2nd Bathroom: all remodeled with walk in shower, Hair dryer and toiletries. Quality bed and bath linens provided.

Living Area: Fold out Sofa for two. Room darkening window treatments. Large UHD TV with sound system, Cable, Wii game console, DVD player. Wii games, DVD,s and several board games and puzzles in a relaxed , comfortable atmosphere.

Balcony: 2nd floor balcony access from the living area overlooks the ocean out the front and the pool out the side. New high top deck furniture makes for comfort while checking out the views. Viewing the beach, Dolphins, playing board games, dining, sipping cocktails or just relaxing in the breezy shade is worth the stay alone.

Kitchen: High end appliances and utensils for creating masterpieces or just making complimentary popcorn or smoothie😜. We try to provide a reasonable supply of herbs, spices and kitchen essentials for your convenience. Peninsula sitting area for 6 comfortably. Also has coffee maker, crock-pot, microwave, commercial blender and toaster.

And... full size washer and dryer with some beach and pool gear to make your stay that much more convenient and fun. We do not provide beach towels.

Outside showers for rinsing the sand and salt water off when you return from the beach.
Free private parking.
Maximum of 6 guests at all times. Must be minimum 22 years old book.

You have access to two pools and an additional kids pool, hot tubs, grilling areas, deck areas and all common areas. Direct access to the beach. Condo access is through an open air hallway. Free private parking lot right outside building.

The Neighborhood:
Ocean Forest is a series of 5, 3 story ocean front buildings built around 3 pools, a hot tub, common areas and grilling areas for your comfort and enjoyment. Landward side is single family homes with very limited public parking providing a quieter beach. Kings Highway a couple blocks away provides a plethora of shopping and entertainment choices.

Getting around:
Myrtle Beach has ride sharing and taxis. or the free coastrta app provides a map and schedules of public bus transportation. It does have a stop on Kings Highway nearby and can take you to the boardwalk, airport, Broadway on the Beach and many other locations. RTA schedule changes seasonally. You can also rent bikes, mopeds and other means from an assortments of businesses.

House and association rules.

House and/Or Condo rules: No pets, no motorcycles, no additional guests, no parties, no glass at the pool. (Please note that owners are allowed pets and motorcycles)
Quiet time 11pm to 8am with on site security. Pools and spas are closed at 11pm and cleaned nightly.
No cooking on the balcony in any manner at any time. Common grilling area provided with propane and charcoal grills.
No elevator. The second floor is 20 steps up.

We suggest you bring... beach towels and sun screen.

We provide locks on all exterior doors, a wall safe and the HOA provides overnight security. However we are not responsible for any loss or damage to your property during your stay.

This place was the cleanest, nicest, and most comfortable condo Ive ever stayed in. It has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. I have a small child and 2 teenage girls and this place accommodated to everyone’s wants and needs. The showers were like a spa. So relaxing after a day on the beach. The view was breathtaking. Above & beyond

Our stay at J’s Place was exceptional. Everything we could have needed was available in the condo. The patio views were breathtaking. The condo was beautifully furnished and made our stay very comfortable. The condo is located in a more residential and quiet area with private beach access; we loved the less crowded area of the beach. Bob and Janet were very responsive. Bob reached out prior to the tropical storm’s arrival to ensure we had everything we needed to weather the storm. We enjoyed the puzzles and games offered to help us pass a rainy day. We loved our week’s stay and look forward to booking J’s Place in the future!

Beautiful condo

This condo was very well stocked with a gorgeous view and perfect location. We stayed with 2 small children and a newborn, and though the condo is somewhat small, every space is utilized to maximum capacity and it suited us well. We walked the beach to a little playground every night and felt the area was very safe. The queen bed in the master is very comfortable. The only thing that I did not love was the water pressure in the shower is low and the water doesn’t get very hot. It is also worth noting that the pools were closed down because of Covid, and residents told us they probably will not re-open until next year. It appears most other pools in the area have re-opened, so it was disappointing for the kids that ours did not. However, Covid could not ruin the beautiful view from the balcony, or having such a fantastic beach to play on. We would highly recommend this property, and will definitely stay again!

Not All That

Renting online was easy. Area we stayed in which was North Myrtle beach was ok. Not a very pretty beach. Sand is very hard, not white and like sugar. Boardwalk was nice, but we expected it to be more. Can't rent a golf cart to ride around to check out area, nor could we park it on property.. Called management to ask never got a return call. We asked neighbors. But we really enjoyed the Pirates dinner and a show. Food was very good , show wa as fantastic. Condo wifi was horrible, would not stay connected. 2nd bedroom tv not hooked to cable, no ac in there either. Girls slept on pull out sofa . All in all we made the best of it and had a fun time.

Wonderful Condo!

A beautifully remodeled, super clean condo with the best view of the beach. High enough to see everything while still low enough not to climb too many stairs while unpacking/packing. Its our favorite place to stay. The Owners are exceptionally kind and generous to share their gem with us all.

Relaxing stay at the beach

Condo was beautifully renovated, clean and well stocked with everything we needed. There were pots and pans, toaster, drip coffee maker, and everything else to cook several meals. The beds and pillows were comfortable and linens were great. It was cold and rainy while we were there so the Wii and board games were an added bonus to keep us entertained. The location is exactly as described, right across a small street from the beach. It was nice to sit on the patio and relax to the sight and sounds of the waves. We had a great time and plan to go back.

Ocean breeze from an ocean front 2nd floor balcony in a 3 story building. This s a quiet part of Myrtle Beach yet close shopping and restaurants. Lots of activities for kids and adults nearby. Newly refurbished throughout with lots of nice amenities. Hotel quality linens and quality kitchen appliances and utensils for home foodies. TV in each bedroom and large screen with Wii, DVD player and sound system in the living room. Plenty of DVDs, Wii games, puzzles and board games for a rainy day.

What makes this property unique

This is well maintained property with security and courteous neighbors located on the desirable golden mile. Pools are cleaned nightly and the front yard is the beach. Ocean Forest Villas is the only property in Myrtle Beach that actually owns the beach front.

Public transportation to get you most anywhere including the airport is nearby. 3 Miles to the boardwalk and an area with few high-rises, little public parking and mostly residential neighborhood. you'll relax on a less crowded beach yet close enough to experience the Myrtle Beach boardwalk if you want.
