About this property

Beachfront one-bedroom condo, wide balcony with direct gulf front view that can't be beaten and comfy lounge chairs, seasonal beach lounge chair rental included. Walk to restaurants and bars! Fully equipped kitchen, bunks in the hall, sleeper sofa in the living room. ESCAPE to Emerald Surf Escape!

Our 8th floor, the one-bedroom condo is beachfront, with a balcony that can't be beaten (sunset on the balcony with wine?), great amenities - 2 swimming pools, hot tub, direct beach access, Bikini Bob's Tiki Bar (in season), gift shop/snack bar, game room, fitness center and location close to our favorite restaurants, bars and shops - walking distance to many! Easy access to the best shopping, the best golf courses, and the best restaurants!

We completely redecorated with cool relaxing colors, new furniture, and gel memory foam mattress toppers. We upgraded to a large cultured marble shower! Rental of 2 cushioned chaise beach lounge chairs are included March - October ($40 per day value).

Our condo will sleep 5 with a king-size bed in the bedroom, 2 twin bunks in the hall, and a sleeper sofa with a queen Serta mattress. One and a half baths - 2 sink/mirror areas, 2 toilets and a shower. Well outfitted kitchen for cooking during your stay. Washer and dryer in the unit, along with beach towels and chairs). Comfortable balcony furniture (bistro dining set and 2 lounge chairs will have you spending hours on the balcony), 55-inch flat-screen TV with DVD player and a comfy couch. We are music lovers so hope you enjoy the Harman Kardon wireless speakers as much as we do!

Instead of a used bedspread, you will enjoy a freshly laundered duvet cover.

Be sure and review our "locals book" when you arrive – full of hints, tips, and personal recommendations. We are always available to answer your questions and have a trusted local point of contact to help you with any issues that arise during your stay.

Note: $20 one time fee required at resort front desk check-in for parking pass and wrist bands. During busy seasons only 1 car pass is provided.

***NOTES: Pools and hot tubs currently not open after dark - Resort is in the process of updating license and should be soon, but can’t guarantee the timing. We can't guarantee internet/cable TV service since that is not within our control.. Coffee and other consumable items are provided for up to 5 days - guests for longer stays will need to re-stock these items. Maximum of 5 guests. $5 per night extra guest fee for more than 4 guests. $75 cancellation fee. We do not have an ice machine - if ice is important to you, please pick up some on your way in. There is also ice for sale at the store downstairs, or Bikini Bobs (during the season).

GREAT PLACE!!!!!!

I recently stayed here for a week with my fiance. I was not sure what to expect. Before we goy there, communication with Sheila was thorough and professional.When we arrived, we were pleasantly suprised at the cleanliness of the condo. Especially the little touches that made it feel like home. They were doing a little work on the buildind, but I expect that during off-season. All in all, this was a great place and we are planning on coming back in the spring. Kudos to the owners!!!!!!!

Sheila was wonderful, the condo was exactly as described. Sheila goes above and beyond with the little extras. We definitely will be headed back in the future.

Good Value in PCB

The property itself was good. It's an older property and some of the wear and tear of age showed through, but all the amenities were there and everything worked properly. We did have an issue with the electronic door lock dying on us, but a quick call to the owner and she walked us through the process, and it was up and running quickly. The beach was amazing and the private access was awesome. There was a wash station on the deck leading to and from the beach, so you could wash off all the sand before heading to the room. The beach was crowded, but we had our own beach chairs and umbrella (provided), which made it nice. We spent most of our days a the beach. The condo building was busy and the elevators were generally always crowded. We ended up taking the stairs during the bulk of our stay (except check-in and check-out). The room is on the 8th floor, so take that into consideration. The biggest detractor of the condo was the smell of garbage near the stairwell. (the trash chute was right next to it). We found that most residents left their trash bags and garbage on the landing instead of putting them down the chute. The neighborhood was kind of a shock. The condo is located right across the street from seemingly the only strip club in town. That prompted an unwanted conversation with our 12-year-old daughter about what it was. The condo is also close to mini-golf and Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not though, so that was a bonus. It's was the best Ripley's we had been to in the US. To leave on a positive note, the private beach access has a beach kiosk that has parasailing, banana boat rides, and jet skis available for rent. So that was nice not to have to travel any distance to participate in those activities. Our favorite restaurants were Pineapple Willey's, and Hook'd. Both within a short drive of the condo.
