Great location. Quiet stay. Close access to great beaches and activities. The property has seen a lot of use, the furnishings were old and worn out and not up to the standard I would have expected for a highly rated property. Bathroom with corroded fixtures. AC kept the place cool and there is beach equipment available

The place was well furnished and clean. All the appliances (stove, washer/dryer/AC,etc.) Worked great. The kitchen had plenty of amenities to cook with. Within walking distance from a nearby beach and within a short drive from Foodland and other food trucks, restaurants and other local amenities and attractions. This is our 2nd time staying in turtle bay and its our go to place. Although its about an hour drive from the city and other local attractions, the ambiance in the Northshore area is definitely worth it. You get the island feel away from the busy streets and noise of the city. We enjoy the drive because of the scenery.

Perfect North Shore spot

Loved the location next to Ritz Carlton property and very central to north shore locations and activities. Condo was clean, well equipped and as expected. Internet via the Wi-Fi was a bit intermittent but could have been a short-term issue. Otherwise was a perfect stay.

Perfectly located

Looking for something away from busy congestion but close enough to local food and convenience stores. Walked to the beach every day for snorkeling and just relaxing on the sand. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Great location perfect for family

Great stay on the north shore. Close to everything. Quiet and clean. Layout was good for us and our two teens. Great communication with Bitsy. Would stay here again if we come to Oahu.

Beautiful place and hosts

The home is exactly as advertised and was perfect for my family. The owner and manager were very kind and responsive, and went above and beyond to immediately address a very minor issue. My spouse and I were both impressed. They also had a lot of local knowledge to share when I asked. We will stay again!

Perfect location for a quiet and relaxing vacation

This property was a short walk to 2 beautiful beaches and a short drive to shopping and restaurants. It had beautiful views of the golf course and you could see the ocean through the trees. My only complaint (albeit personal) was the laundry soap used was Tide which we are both allergic to. So after 3 days we started getting a rash from the bed sheets. Otherwise it was beautifully decorated and the kitchen and linens were sufficient for what we needed.

Ants!

We dealt with ants the first 3 days, in the kitchen, on the walls, and crawling all over. We did contact the manager and had rapid results as she came over with ant spray. By that time, it took about 3 days for the infestation to get under control.

Great place for a getaway

This place was exactly what I was looking for. Close to the beach. It had boogie boards, beach mats and beach towels to use. It was clean and had what we needed in the kitchen. The balcony was enclosed with screens so you can keep the doors open without worrying about bugs. The check in and out were easy and the owner/property manager was quick to respond. The only things that I would change: the pillows were not great, the bed a bit too firm for me, the bath doesn’t plug and the shower isn’t able to change to the bath faucet. Minor things that would not prevent me from booking again.

Nice stay - Hard Bed

I had a wonderful stay with my two children for 8 days at this property. The place was clean, the AC worked fabulously, and all in all it was a great stay. As indicated by a previous reviewer, the king-sized bed in the main floor bedroom is very firm. I typically prefer firm mattresses so wasn't concerned about that review when I read it prior to my stay, but it turned out that the mattress was the hardest one I have ever slept on and quite uncomfortable. Let me recommend that the owner run to Costco and purchase a simple pillow top mattress cover to make it more comfortable. Mattress aside, it was a wonderful condo and just perfect our our needs.

Great North Shore Location

This condo is in the middle of the turtle bay resort on the North Shore which was remodeled during the height of Covid. The condo had everything we needed. It was clean and the air conditioner worked well. It was just a few steps to the resort and all the restaurants on the property. There are many great beaches nearby that you can walk to. And it’s just a short drive to all the beautiful north shore beaches and Halaiwa Town. Just be prepared for some traffic due to road work and tourists on the 2 lane road. We would return to this property in a heart beat. The only negative is that the condo could use some remodeling to bring it up to date. It was however very clean and well taken care of.

Good location for the north shore

Nice condo for our family of 4. We just used this as a home base for a few days on the north shore. We thought the beds were comfortable and the air conditioning worked well except for the loft was very warm. The ceiling fan didn’t work and they needed 2 fans to work the temperature around the living area as it cooled very well downstairs but just not the loft. I would upgrade the chairs and umbrella for a family of 4. Also no ice trays, had ice maker but didn’t work.

Perfect for family of 4

The communication with the Property manager was superb. We needed an iron and one was sent immediately. The check-in process was a breeze. The designated parking spot is a short walk but there are guest parking spaces directly across from condo. Do note that the condo is an upstairs unit. When we 1st arrived the place was hot and stuffy but once we turned the AC on it cooled down rather quickly. The condo itself felt like we were staying at a family member’s home. The place felt cozy. My daughters LOVED the queen mattresses in the loft. They mentioned it felt like they were sleeping by on a cloud. However, the king bed in the master room was too firm for our liking. If you like a firm mattress, this bed is for you. There are beach toys & 2 chairs for your use. The golf course trail was lovely for an early morning run and Tranquility pool is within walking distance. Our overall stay was lovely and we would definitely stay here again.

Well stocked condo in relaxing North Shore

The condo was the best stocked condo i have ever stayed in. There was ample toilet paper, trash bags, and even laundry detergent! This was a wonderful surprise to not have to purchase those things ourselves (especially since we would not use them all in a 5 day stay). The ac worked great, although most of the time we just opened the screened doors. There were camping chairs and an umbrella for our use as well. These proved to be very useful! Lots of beach towels and extra linens also. I would definitely recommend this condo if you are looking for a relaxing place on the North Shore. The ONLY thing I can say that could be improved is the palm tree outside the porch somewhat obstructs the view of the golf course. But the kerig, toaster, rice maker and all the other amenities gave us all the conveniences of home. I would stay here again.

Bugs and no maintenance.

To start off, the property manager emailed me the access to a completely different property, and then followed up the next day with the correct access info. The wifi password was incorrect. We had several people try and no success. I emailed the property manager and never heard back. When we got there, there were flies everywhere. Not a few, at least 30. We encountered two cockroaches in the kitchen, on different occasions. There were two lizards on the wall, which is not that big of a deal. We’ve been to Hawaii a lot, but didn’t sit well if all of the other issues. We did not leave windows or doors open ever. We used the air conditioner the whole time. The bug situation was disgusting. The dishwasher leaked when we used it and the bathtub didn’t drain properly. Even with a 5 minute shower, you end up standing in dirty bath drain water. This is quite possibly the worst rental experience that I’ve ever had. I usually try to leave wonderful reviews when I leave a property, but I just couldn’t with this one.
