The home sleeps 13 comfortably. Snow removal service and fully stocked firewood are provided for the entire ski season. Pack-n-play, highchair, and children's toys and books available upon request.

This home is certain to make family memories for years to come! Enjoy skiing, ice skating, fishing, mountain biking, hiking, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, parks, and golf, all conveniently located. Ski shops, restaurants, and local shopping are within a short walking distance. Dorset Park is less than a 3 minute walk and has a large soccer field, playground, tennis courts, and skate park.

The property was just like it was described in the listing. It suited our needs perfectly. There’s plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook breakfast, and dinner. The wood stove was perfect after skiing in the very cold weather we had that week. Perfect place for a ski vacation at Okemo. Thanks for sharing your place.

Great for a group!

Beautiful property! Full amenities! Super cozy, with plenty of space. Walking distance to multiple different places of interest. Short driving distance to cheese, beers, and syrup. Great place for everyone.

Nice stay with friends

Had a get together with some lifelong friends in July, this place was great for all of us. Easily accommodated 8 people without people walking over each other. Even though it is in a quiet neighborhood, it was less than a 5 minute walk to a supermarket and restaurants. The hosts were very responsive with all communications.

Near ski slope, warm stove

House is convenient to ski slope and shuttle bus. It is old but refurbished, clean and warm with large radiators and wood burning stove. House has 2 bathrooms. Downstairs shower was cold, reported this to owner right away. Two sinks also leaked. He said plumber would come next day and could I let him in? Yes, I would, but no plumber came until I was going home on the 5th day. All week our family of 10 shared shower upstairs since only cold water downstairs. Towel rack holds 5 towels; only 6 bath towels were provided. No racks in downstairs bathroom. One bed was unmade with no sheets set out for us. Booked property July 11 for Christmas week and paid in full. November 30 owner asked for more money for security deposit, which was to be paid in 3 days. Owner stated: “this will only be a minor inconvenience” (for me!). My deposit was sent in 3 days as requested. A week before arrival rules were stated: no shoes in house, soft soapstone counters so don’t put anything hard on them, take all trash with you, remove bedding. We covered counters with our tablecloths and followed rules. Checked out December 30. We cleaned and vacuumed property. Nothing scratched or broken. Housekeeper was there to verify as I was leaving. On January 3, I asked owner to release security deposit. Asked owner 5 times until January 12 with no refund. Called VRBO at owner’s suggestion and funds were released January 12 after VRBO interceded for us.

It was very cozy, comfortable, and perfectly located — just minutes from Okemo and close to town, which made everything easy.We were a group of 13 (five couples plus three others), and the layout worked great for us. Four of the five couples had private rooms, which made it feel spacious and accommodating even with a larger group.We arrived right after a big snowstorm, and the driveway had already been plowed early that morning, with room for four cars — which we really appreciated. The host was extremely responsive throughout our stay and made everything seamless.All in all, it was a lovely stay and we would happily return.

The roof was leaking all over the front hallway to the point that we git wet whenever we went to the upstairs bedrooms. There is a seconfld unit that has access to the unit we rented. When we brought up the concern of strangers having access to our young children at night, we were told not to worry and that it had never been a problem before. The washing machine broke mid cycle leaving our ski clothes wet all of which we had to replace the next morning so that we could ski. We were able to secure suitable alternate lodging at a premium price. When we asked for a refund, the owners told us to take it up with VRBO.

Great Family Getaway!

We brought family together for fun, quality time! We shared so many laughs, played games and enjoyed seeing another family member in "Rudolph The Musical". Mom called this "A Dream"! The house was perfect! Great amenities for what we needed, clean and family friendly. Would definitely recommend!

Great location

Went up with friends for a golf trip. This house is prefect location to Fox Run golf club and even closer to the access road to Okemo ski mountain. Great spot at a good rate.

Perfect weekend visit to VT

We had a terrific stay at this home. The house has been very tastefully updated with a great kitchen, dining table, and comfortable living room space. Plenty of beds and bedrooms for everyone. The house is very close to town, so we could walk to everything, yet situated off the main road away from the traffic.

Great location for 2-3 families!

This house is perfect! We stayed 6 nights in this very well equipped house. It has everything you could think of and more! Our group included 3 families with a total of 13 people. We had enough of everything for everybody. Location is awesome! Only 3 mins away from Okemo main base. Check-in and out was very easy. House rules were simple and clear. House is cozy, feels like home, yet spacious enough to accommodate our large group. We just loved it! We hope to come back soon!

The location was great. Peaceful neighborhood. Okemo shuttle stop is 3 houses away. Grocery store, ski rental, several restaurants on Main St. all short walks on sidewalks. Sledding in backyard through small woods. The country style home has all the necessities. Kitchen seats 8-10 for meals and game night. Nice TV in family room. We had 6 people and truly enjoyed our long weekend here.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with this house after looking at many across Vermont. We loved it's country charm, location, and comfort. Everyone gathers in the kitchen. So the huge kitchen table is the best to play games, laugh at jokes, and tell stories for your whole group to enjoy. The wood burning stove in the kitchen makes the atmosphere warm and inviting for everyone to enjoy.

What makes this property unique

The location of this home is outstanding. While ski on/off is awesome, you pay a pretty penny for the privilege. This house is less than a 2 minute drive and on the shuttle route. This house offers value for the price to rent and the location. Plus you can walk to town and not have to worry about driving after a few beers or glasses of wine at dinner.
