Just a 6-minute drive from Okemo’s base lodge, our cozy chalet offers the perfect escape into a serene forest.

Step into our spacious mudroom to shed your gear and head into the bright, open-concept living area. Relax by the crackling wood-burning fireplace, or gather with loved ones in the dining area. The fully-equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing home-cooked meals.

When you’re ready for some fun, head downstairs to the entertainment level. Challenge friends to a game of ping pong, basketball arcade, or skee ball, or unwind with a movie night in the home theater.

Explore the 10 wooded acres surrounding the chalet, with winding trails, babbling streams, and lush foliage. Gather around the fire pit for cozy evenings under the stars.

NOTE: Our driveway is sloped and while we have snow removal, we recommend you have a 4WD vehicle to access the chalet.

Perfect Family Chalet

The house was perfect for our family and Lisa was an incredible host. The house met all our needs and is in a great location. Everything we needed for our large group and plenty of room for the kids. We cooked every meal and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this house set back in the woods on a private lot very peaceful. The house had plenty of room very spacious, kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed for cooking. We loved the wood burning fireplace! The game room was awesome it had a ping pong table lots of fun!! This house is close to town and Okemo mountain perfect location!

Perfect lodging for winter getaway!

Really beautiful chalet that is a perfect place for families and friends. The layout is super well designed with loads of common space that allows groups to all be together as well as have separate lounge areas for kids and adults. The sleeping areas separate and quiet and four bathrooms is a luxury. Very clean and contemporary. Highly recommend!

Long weekend Ski Trip

We rented this home with our neighbors for a long ski weekend at Okemo. House clean and as described. Kids love the basement! Easy ride to the mountain. Lisa was very helpful with check in and any questions we had. Thank you for the stay!

Fantastic stay - great host

Amazing stay all around. Everyone in the party enjoyed the stay. Minutes to town and ski resort. Plenty to do at the house as well. We enjoyed hours of snowshoeing the trails on the property and hanging out at the firepit. Plenty of comfortable sleeping arrangements and great setup to all hang out as a group to play games, watch movies and enjoy meals together. Host was amazing, very responsive and helpful before and during our stay! Would love to come back next year!

Amazing house and location.!

We just loved it - the layout was great with multiple living areas including the basement. Our kids had games and toys to play with and we lit the fireplace most nights. Lisa was very connected and timely with her communications. The house was very clean and in a very quiet part of Ludlow, but 5 minutes from the town center. 5 stars!

We loved it!

We had a blast the house is perfect for us! The toys in the basement were a huge plus. Only issue was the driveway was not plowed until 2 days after being there which was hard initially when we arrived to see the driveway, slippery, and a little scary with an infant, small kids, and my sister who is 8 months pregnant. But nothing happened and it was great!

Beautiful upscale roomy cabin

Lisa is a great communicator. Which is important when you are spending time in someone’s home. Everything was clean and there were plenty of towels and sheets , if needed extra. Which , I personally feel is a necessity . I have rented homes and there was one towel per person 😳. I’m a decorator and this house is beautiful. Nicely organized and comfy. Not too upscale that you’re family is intimidated …we’ve had that experience too. Loved the bar area near dining room… organizing the libations and wine is very important for apres ski purposes! Not cluttering the kitchen counters was nice! Kitchen appliances are clean and function well. Bathrooms are immaculate and roomy. The fireplace is beautiful and provides loads of warmth. Garbage pails we’re plowed in, and frozen, but we had a tenacious teen who dug one out. Not a huge problem. Garbage was picked up mid week and I even used Instacart to order groceries . Shaws is ok but nice to have variety with Instacart. Private and quiet location. Awesome Sonos speaker and the game room is a big hit with everyone! Great house! Don’t hesitate !

Wonderfully comfortable, peaceful, and fun

Tucked in the woods, but not too far from town, this is a great house for disconnecting with the convenience of shops nearby. The house was extremely comfortable - from the couches to the beds. The game room provided hours of entertainment, as did the fire pit outside. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and you will love sitting around the beautiful wooden table for a meal with friends and family. Recommend it highly!

Very Nice - Very Quiet

House easily fit our party of 10 with plenty of room to spare. The game room was the best part. The 6 kids loved it and it freed up the adults to spend some time with each other. The cabinets were well stocked with plates and dishes, there were plenty of towels to go around as well. Everything was in working good condition, except a broken deck bench which we didn't use. Check in was a breeze and Lisa was easy to work with. Thank you for having us!!

Perfect property for our family trip to Okemo!

Absolutely a five star property. This home was the perfect spot to host our week long ski trip to Okemo with extended family. The home had everything we could have wanted and more. Highlights include the location and how accessible the mountain was to us, the game room in the basement and all the space to relax. Not to mention the home is decorated so cute and communication with the property owner was fantastic. Definitely snag this rental - I wouldn’t be surprised if we stay here again in the future.

Absolutely wonderful

This chalet is just at the perfect location - both in terms of being surrounded by foliage, but also at the same time being minutes away from Shaw’s, something that is so appreciated when you are traveling with kids! It was also so convenient to have a game room in the basement - kept the kids and adults busy when one of our days was blessed with rains :) Lisa was a delightful host - super accessible and responsive over message and phone, had board games and a super well stocked kitchen! You can’t go wrong with this chalet.

Awesome mountain getaway

My family of four (hubby, myself, and two sons ages 22 months & 3.5), along with my best friend and her husband & 2 year old enjoyed a few days here! The house was very clean and had nearly everything you could need to cook and enjoy your stay. The fire pit was awesome for making s’mores. The open concept living and dining room with den was great for the kids to play. We spent two days at Echo lake in camp Plymouth for swimming & picnicking. The lake was great for the kiddos and adults alike. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We hope to be back next year :-)

As avid hikers and wilderness explorers we dreamt of one day owning a mountain chalet. That dream finally came to fruition in 2019.
We have two boys 6 & 8 who love to ski and enjoy that activity as a family. Moreover, we look forward to sharing that experience with friends in addition to cooking meals, entertaining and relaxing in the fresh mountain air.
We are super excited to have the opportunity to share this with you and hope that your experiences are as pleasurable as ours.

Why they chose this property

We bought this property because we love Ludlow and the Okemo Valley area. We love our home because it feels so tucked away and secluded yet it is close to the Village and ample natural amenities. The house is large and spacious with a layout that is perfect for groups which we love to host.

What makes this property unique

There are multiple benefits to the property with dens throughout and communal areas for gatherings large and small. Situated on 10 acres of natural forest, directly opposite Okemo Mountain resort you are spoiled with immediate access to the variety of activities in the valley from golf, swimming, arts, snow sports and alpine climbing and hiking.
The home itself has large 60” TV’s, internet, games room, fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer, natural wood burning fire, and exterior decks. Parking for 4+ vehicles and close to the VAST trail network
