There is a spacious mud room for all your outdoor accessories, a fully equipped kitchen with all of the prep and serving items you need, a dishwasher, a coffee/espresso machine, and more. Large dining room seats 6 with a view of the deck, Lake Pauline, Lake Rescue, and the Red Bridge. The family room has many comfy seating options to cozy up to the fully functional fireplace or the flat screen TV with surround sound. There are three spacious bedrooms to choose from; a first floor double with en suite bathroom and desk workspace, a second floor five twin bunks with reading nook and views of Lake Rescue, or the master queen with en suite bath with jacuzzi tub and a walk-out balcony to enjoy 180 degrees of views. Full laundry available if you need in the basement.
Outdoors provides a spectacular and one-of-a-kind location on Lake Rescue. This is THE home at the Red Bridge and spans the breadth from Lake Rescue to Lake Pauline. In the front yard, a sitting bench is nestled into the flower garden with a dock at its side, allowing you unobstructed views of Lake Rescue. The property wraps alongside the Red Bridge dam to Lake Pauline, where you can enjoy a more quiet and secluded aspect of the lakes, complete with an island-like forested inlet and fire pit. We are a young family who enjoys spending quality time with each other, our friends, and extended family. We love boating, games, and cooking excellent meals at home.
Why they chose this property
We love this home because it offers everything we want in a lake home. We can stay cozy inside next to the fireplace and still hear the babbling of the water through the dam, or we can play to our hearts' content in the dam, the lakes on either side of the property, or camp out in the 'wilds' of the peninsula 'island'. And in the winter, we can go to Okemo!
What makes this property unique
We love dipping our toes in the quiet shallows of Lake Pauline, hidden among the trees. And then, we love to play under the Red Bridge and in the open cove of Lake Rescue right below our dock when we're feeling social. We love gazing up at the amazing timber architecture of this cabin-house, and snuggling next to the fireplace on cold nights. We love leaving the balcony door cracked on summer nights and falling asleep to the sound of the river below.
