This is a blessed home, in both natural beauty and layout. Perfect balance between lake house and ski house, we stayed in winter but look forward to coming back in the summer. Very clean, and well maintained. Andrew was a fantastic host.
This is our second time staying in this home in the fall, and it didn't disappoint. The location is beautiful, and the house has wonderful accomodations for my children and I.
The house was exactly as advertised and very comfortable. Kayaking on the lake was beautiful! The location outside of Ludlow is very convenient. We had a great time. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.
Everythjng was great. House was clean and as advertised. Check in was a breeze. Host was available for anything we needed. 5here were some repairs being done but host was up front about all of it.
This is my favorite rental, ever, hands down. A home away from home, and just the most beautiful setting. The house is well equipped, beautiful and clean, access to the lake is A++, and the owner is a pleasure to work with. Truly, THE BEST!!
We loved our stay at Andrew's property. The house was surprisingly spacious and included a large living room with seating for 10+, a kitchen full of all the cooking supplies one might need, and ample parking. The spot on the lake isn't ideal for swimming (water is shallow and full of muck/vegetation within 20 yards of the doc), but the large selection of boats still made it very easy for us to get out and enjoy the lake. Andrew was very responsive and accommodating. We stayed in the summer, but this would be a great place for the winter too, as we could see Okemo from the driveway. Highly recommend!
This is definitely one of my favorite rental properties of all time. The house is comfortable, breezy, and has everything you need. The lake is beautiful, and the location is perfect if you are looking for solitude (but also has every necessary amenity closeby). Thank you for a great week!!!
My family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home right on Lake Rescue. The house was immaculately clean, with very comfortable beds and furniture. We enjoyed the private dock for our small boat and the use of kayaks and canoes. The house is a 5-minute drive to Okemo and 40 to Killington Mountain. So much to see and do in this scenic, charming area of VT. Andrew was a terrific host and communication was top notch-- he was patient with all of our questions and made us feel very welcome. This is our 4th Ludlow summer vacation, and this home was by far our favorite!
This house is now a part of our family summer routine, and it was magic, as always. Even with the floods, we were able to enjoy Ludlow and the surrounding area, and we found some new spots to enjoy as well. #LudlowStrong indeed; road crews were super busy fixing everything up. The house was perfect and charming - always has everything we need, and the access to the lake is our favorite part. Thank you for a wonderful, restorative stay!! See you next year!

Idyllic location, amazing hosts
Andrew and Suzy have a delightful home, equipped with everything you need on vacation. A well-equipped kitchen, a lovely sun room, kayaks and canoe, fire pit... we loved everything! Andrew also rescued us when we accidentally locked ourselves out within 5 minutes of arrival (eeeep! My 6-year old shut the door while we were bringing in luggage!), and saved us from ourselves. Thanks Andrew! We will definitely try to vacation here again - it's a perfect place to get away and just relax. Thanks so much for a great stay!!
We had a fantastic time at this property. The house is clean and spacious, with a great layout for groups. It also has a small three-season bar where you can sit and enjoy a nice cup of coffee and feel the warm breeze without worrying about bugs. The lake itself is spectacular and offers plenty of kayaking and other water activity opportunities. Location is also great, with easy access to nearby recreational activities. Overall, a truly special place.
The only issue that came up during our stay was major construction on Vermont Route 100, which is immediately adjacent to the property. During the hours of approx. 8am - 5pm, it felt like being right in the middle of a construction site. This was not the host's fault and I determined there was no way the host could have known in advance based on the information provided on the Vermont Department of Transportation website, which is why I still rated our stay five stars. However, if you're looking for true peace and quiet during daylight hours, especially if it's a weekday, it would be in your best interest to investigate the issue further to ensure that no additional roadwork is planned in the area.
We all agreed it was a great rental, plenty of amenities, details were accurate and a great amount of indoor space!
The number of kayaks were perfect for our group so we didn't have to bring our own. If you had young children, there is no beach area and water in the cove is full of vegetation. Not an issue if you aren't swimming.
Loved the upper deck for evening cocktails and the "indoor porch" space with bar stools for morning coffee.
Andrew was great with communication and check in and out were super easy.
My sisters and I loved the inside of the house. Comfortable! Large room with windows looking out at the lake.
One improvement needed if warm temperatures arise- must clean window sills. No air conditioning so windows were open…
This home is lovely inside, beds are very comfy, kitchen nicely filled with what we needed, porch with Adirondack chairs is wonderful, enough watercraft for us to all be out on the water together. No AC but window fans were sufficient for us.

We fell in love with this home the moment we saw it, and we think you'll love it too. It's a perfect getaway with so much to do nearby.
What makes this property unique
This is a unique and charming home. A den was added several years ago that is walled with windows, providing an open view of the lake. It's nestled into a cove with few other homes so the privacy and quiet are priceless.
