Eleni and her family made us feel very welcome. The house is in a great location with fantastic views and amazing sunsets. Close to all the best beaches as well as shops and restaurants nearby. Very quiet and peaceful. Would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. Angelo who met us on arrival could not have been more friendly and kind. He allowed us to check in early and was helpful in every way. Very spacious apartment. Great bedrooms and big kitchen where we cooked a lot of our meals. Big verhanda overlooking the sea. Can recommend this apartment.

Wonderful views and a warm welcome

This was our second visit to Joy House and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. The views from the large terrace/balcony are spectacular, particularly the sunsets and the apartment is comfortable and well-equipped. Eleni's communication was excellent and she was always contactable to answer any queries. Best of all though was the warm welcome from Eleni's father, Angelo, and his wife. This included delicious freshly-cooked vegetable moussaka and home baked cake and biscuits. We were very touched, grateful and appreciative. The accommodation and hosts are highly recommended.

Very pleasant stay

We had a great time in this well equipped apartment. The terrace is large and has a beautiful west-facing view. A great place for meals and drinks once it cools off a little. Lovely garden and well located. The hosts were communicative and very nice to deal with. Recommended.

very attentive host, they came cleaning the flat regularly which was unexpected but much appreciated.the flat could be better equipped but the host who were downstairs were happy to provide anything missing.as in mentionned in the advert, the sunset from the baclony is really stunning, the local beach is amazing and lots of lovely tavernas around.car is definetely needed in this area.we were only 2 people staying but the flat can accomodate more. the rooms are quite small but we didnt spend much time there. we will definitely be back and stay longer when in Kefalonia as 5 days wasn't enough to appreciate.

Relaxing villa

Relaxing villa with a lot of space and pet-friendly owner. Everything is very clean. It’s just 10 min. by car from Fiskardo where you can enjoy the beautiful village with shops and restaurants. Highly recommended but you need a car for everything.

Perfect stay to enjoy the views and explore the north of Cefalonia

Amazing sea and sunset views from the astonishing covered terrace. Clean and spacious three-rooms apartment (entire top floor). Convenient equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms. No eating table inside, but the one on the terrace is more than enough! The guest and her family (living downstairs) are the kindest and accurate people you can imagine. The garden is perfectly maintained. The surroundings are quiet and green. The location is ideal to explore the magnificent peninsula stretching from Assos to Fiscardo. Very happy to have had this accomodation. Strong recommended!

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meravigli

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno meraviglioso in questa splendida casa: spaziosa, luminosa, fresca, curatissima e immersa nel verde, con un bellissimo giardino e una terrazza con una vista spettacolare sul mare, tramonti meravigliosi e di notte, guardare la luna riflessa sull’acqua era davvero magico. Il vero valore aggiunto sono Angelo e sua figlia Eleni, persone gentilissime e ospitali. Angelo, 84 anni, parla benissimo inglese, ama chiacchierare e stare con i suoi ospiti. Una sera ci ha cucinato sul barbecue il pesce che avevamo comprato da un pescatore e per ringraziarlo, lo abbiamo invitato a cena con noi: una bellissima serata insieme. L’ultimo giorno è arrivato con 6 branzini, pensando di cucinarceli per un’altra cena… peccato che si fosse dimenticato che quella mattina partivamo!Ci è dispiaciuto tantissimo non poter trascorrere un’altra serata con lui. Siamo andati via con il cuore pesante! Grazie Angelo ed Eleni per la splendida ospitalità. Ci siamo sentiti davvero a casa!

We hebben genoten van onze week op deze locatie in het Noorden van Kefalonia. Het uitzicht is prachtig en de zonsondergang schitterend. We hebben vooral buiten geleefd en binnen alleen gekookt en geslapen. Binnen 1 week heb je alle bezienswaardigheden in het Noorden gezien zonder al te veel te moeten reizen. Een huurauto is wel handig anders moet alles via een taxi. De vader en moeder van de verhuurder wonen beneden en zijn vriendelijk, rustig en behulpzaam. In het dorpje op 3 minuten rijden (of minder dan 20 minuten wandelen) zitten 2 uitstekende restaurants en ook een prima supermarktje met brood en allerlei andere zaken (en lekkere kleine ijsjes). We gaan nu voor 1 week naar ons 2e verblijf in het zuiden van Kefalonia.

L'appartamento occupa tutto il piano superiore della casa e ha una vista pazzesca sul mare dalla terrazza coperta. Orientato a ovest, gode di spettacolari tramonti e ha tre stanze spaziose e arredate con gusto. I due bagni sono pratici come la cucina attrezzata. Manca un tavolo da pranzo all'interno, ma quello in terrazza compensa ampiamente. L'host e i suoi genitori che risiedono al piano inferiore sono persone squisite, disponibili (chiedete a loro per la lavatrice), molto pulite e accurate. Ci dispiace del malinteso sul disinfettante del bucato, a cui non eravamo abituati (a naso un idrocarburo). Il giardino è splendido e sapientemente curato, ma non possiamo dire nulla della zona barbecue della quale non abbiamo approfittato. La proprietà è situata in un quartiere verde e tranquillo. La posizione è ideale per esplorare la magnifica regione nord dell'isola, tra Assos e Fiscardo.

le logement occupe tout l'étage d'une belle maison colorée, spacieuse et neuve (nous étions les 2èmes locataires). La description du logement est parfaitement fidèle. Son point fort est sa superbe terrasse qui permet de bénéficier d'un panorama sur les falaises crayeuses et la mer bleu azur de Céphalonie. On ne s'en lasse pas ! Mais avant tout nous retenons la gentillesse et la grande disponibilité de notre hôte Eleni. A notre départ, nous avons eu l'impression de quitter une amie... Un grand merci !
