Perfectly located among the charming tree lined streets and parks of the upscale Turtle Creek/Highland Park neighborhoods. Newly Remodeled 1936 traditional style duplex with beautifully appointed features The Turtle Creek Treasure duplex is on the first floor. Our twin sister duplex (Turtle Creek Elegance) is on second separate level of the home (two separate units w/different addresses) Full House (both duplexes) are available for rent as well (schedule permitting)

The Neighborhood:

Turtle Creek is a bucolic, pastoral pocket in urban Dallas that is bordered by prestigious Highland Park, Uptown and Oak Lawn neighborhoods. In some ways it defies description; there are mansions on multi-acre lots here, hidden tree-lined streets with quaint homes and condos but much of the area is dominated by commercial and business developments. There are fine hotels and great restaurants, office buildings, and upscale shopping with both pricey boutiques and quaint gift shops. It has some of the trendy appeal of both Oak Lawn and Uptown, and also some of the most spectacular natural beauty still left in Dallas.

Turtle Creek Parkway is a beautiful boulevard winding through the urban neighborhood, but busy Lemmon Ave. also bisects the area. The Katy Trail runs through Turtle Creek, and much of the public land is like a park even if not officially designated as parkland. Finally, several of the iconic old streets that loom large in Dallas history run through Turtle Creek, including Cedar Springs, Maple, Routh, Fairmount, Wycliff and Douglas

Great place in a great neighborhood!

This house was perfect for our small group for a weekend in Dallas. The area is safe and quiet. Also close to American Airlines Center and lots of great shops and restaurants. I couldn't have asked for an easier check-in/out process. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for a girls weekend

Stayed here for a mini-reunion with a couple of college friends and it was perfect. Beautiful neighborhood with easy access to great restaurants and shops. The unit is really comfortable -- kitchen is well-stocked, beds are comfy, and there's a nice back patio when the weather is suitable. A great choice for a small group or family.

Charming home in Great Neighborhood

"Top Notch Home"

I can not express the in words how wonderful this experience was for me and my family. I was very skeptical initially because the pictures on line were absolutely gorgeous. But the pictures did not do this beautiful property just and they were good. It was very clean, cool, warm home feeilng and centrally located to EVERYTHING! I had 3 -14 year old girls who stated "this seems just like home". Well, that is what i prayed for and exactly what I received. The amenities from the coffee to the wonderful feel of the mattresses were absolutely soothing and comforting. This was better than any 5 star hotel or resort I have visited. Another great asset was a walking/running park within .25 miles, 10 minutes from the Galleria, 10-20 from family and friends to visit and activities to do. The neighborhood was very clean, safe and quiet. If you are in the Dallas area and need somewhere that is very comfortable, has great hospitality from the owner,a home that is cleaner than hotels I have visited (I did not find dust anywhere); check out this listing it was great. There were a few mishaps with the registration but the owner was very accessible went out of her way to take of it with minimal to no wait time. I have dying to write this review and tell the world there are some beautiful homes that out rank any hotel in Dallas, TX. I am so thankful and grateful to this owner for providing such a comforting environment. OH!! I must say again the beds were the BEST! They were so comfortable I had to inquire about the mattress or topper to purchase for my home. My back has not felt this good in a long time. My husband and I both have back problems, but we slept like babies here. My first experience in a home away at this property has made it difficult for others to top anywhere. Wonderful experience!!!!

Perfect Dallas location!

Can’t say enough about the comfy, cozy accommodations we found in this beautiful home. The high quality bed linens made it difficult to get out of bed in the morning! Fluffy towels and plenty of space to move around added to the amenities. Location was desirable and central; we definitely recommend highly!

Wonderfully warm with beautiful style and comfort!

Karen’s house feels like a stay at you favorite relative’s home rather than just a rental. The furnishings and art are beautiful. Everything is spotlessly clean. The beds, linens and fluffy towels are SO much better than you’d ever expect. The neighborhood is quiet in the evenings and a great location to enjoy restaurants and shops on Knox, Uptown and Diwntown. The Katy Trail is easy access for more active options. I loved my stay here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone!!!

Comfy beds, charming neighborhood

came to a Dallas to visit some of the area universities and colleges and this apartment was in a great location, surrounded by an eclectic mix of mansions, bungalows and upscale apartments. Made it to Katy trail for a walk, although the stroll on Abbott was far more entertaining. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Gem in Highland Park/Turtle Creek Area

This was a quaint and perfect place to spend a few days with the family. It was perfectly located for us, and everything was comfortable and quiet. Parking is on the street only, but there were no issues at all.
