This classic log home is hidden among rhododendron and pines, giving you that feeling of escape that only an authentic cabin can provide. Close to restaurants, shopping, skiing, and other lake activities, you will love the convenient location!

Warm wood walls, a stone fireplace and lake views make the great room an inviting spot to watch your favorite DVD or simply unwind by the firelight. Offering a queen sleep sofa, it doubles as a sleeping area for extra guests.

A charming arched doorway leads into the dining area and galley style kitchen. It easy to imagine enjoying a big home-style breakfast with family and friends before heading out for a day of Deep Creek fun.

The primary bedroom is a relaxing place to unwind and catch up on your rest. Furnished with a queen bed, TV and DVD player, a good night's sleep is guaranteed.

Rounding out the sleeping quarters are a bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with a bunk and a twin bed. They are decorated with your comfort in mind.

You will love the open grassy lot with a gradual slope to the lakefront. There is plenty of room for the kids to run and play with Fido when they are not swimming from your private dock. Bring your boat or rent one at a local marina for on-the-water-fun on sunny summer days. The lakeside picnic pavilion is an added bonus! When the sun starts to set, gather around the fire pit for s'mores and spooky stories. Throughout all four seasons, you can soak your cares away in the bubbling outdoor hot tub.

The convenient location puts you within walking distance of several popular restaurants, shops, an arcade and mini golf. Wisp Resort is just a five-minute drive when you want to experience skiing, golf, snow tubing, ziplines, ice skating, mountain biking and much more! Atop the mountain, you will find the exciting white water rafting course at the Adventure Sports Center International.

Simpson’s sanctuary

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was disappointed the cabin is run down there was garbage in the yard from previous guests I called the first day I was there and twice more was told it would be handled immediately garbage still there 3 weeks when I left. Ants in the master bathroom and fleas and carpet badly stained. Porch hadn’t been swept cobwebs everywhere. Location was nice cabin needs Work beds very uncomfortable.

Great location, old rustic home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We selected this house due to its great lake front location and because we were bringing our small dog along with us and we appreciate the owner allowing dogs. We loved the large yard with picnic pavilion and fire pit close to the private dock. The view of the lake is also lovely. The house; however, is very outdated and has not been properly maintained inside or out.
