What an amazing place to stay in Lincoln city!We arrived tired from a long drive to the coast and immediately got a second wind after checking in because the place was just as described.Beautiful and clean house, views were spectacular. Our host was quick to respond to a question I had the next day.Our family enjoyed walking the beach ,flying kites and relaxing on the deck.We had strong winds the first 2 days we were there but there was so much to do that it didn’t matter too much! Wonderful place to stay!
Another excellent stay at Fina's.Unfortunately hit a windy period, windy enough to prevent boats getting in to restock the local supermarket but that's a part of island life.Accomodation immaculate as always, upgraded decking which gave us room enough for the whole family to enjoy. And the bonus of Fina taking in a few puppies while we were there.Looking forward to another trip soon
My favorite part of the cottage was the large covered porch facing the ocean and the well built and extensive deck system over the water. The porch was equipped with very comfortable furniture and the view was mesmerizing. The cottage itself is very sweet, nicely furnished, well equipped and comfortable.
I could not recommend this house and host enough. We have stayed in a lot of places before and by far this is the most charming place. Also she has everything you need that you may have forgotten at home. Beach towel, paddle board, kayaks, floats, spices in the cabinet, blow dryer. She has books and games. You have the best of both worlds. There is shade around the porch and a dick of loungers and chairs. I would love to keep it a secret. It's just to nice not to share.
A Charming Remote Cottage by the Sea: overlooking the tranquil bonefish flats, Seabiscuit is more than just accommodation; it's an experience. Location: Five Stars for Untouched Beauty and SerenityThe very essence of Seabiscuit’s charm lies in its remote location. Accessible via bumpy single lane dirt and rock road(s), the journey itself builds such anticipation. Upon arrival, the immediate impression is one of breathtaking natural beauty where Seabiscuit delivered in Spades! There are no bustling crowds, no intrusive sounds of traffic, no people – just the raw, magnificent power of the beautiful sea and the cry of seabirds. While remote, it doesn't feel isolated, rather, peacefully secluded. With only 4 or 5 vehicles and a dump truck full of chert (to repair the potholes) passing by the cottage the entire 8 days we visited! The owner went above and beyond with her charming details - local art on the walls, shelves stocked with books, board games and dvds for rainy days. A closet full of fresh linens, beach towels, water toys, a well stocked kitchen with many essentials and modern conveniences. I cant say enouch about this beautiful little escape! I could go on for days! We love you Seabiscuit! Until next time! Thank you Fina!
We love staying at the Seabiscuit. It was secluded, quiet, and so peaceful there. We loved walking out on the dock and watching the sunsets, kayaking and paddle boarding whenever we wanted, and just basically re-setting ourselves. Plenty of room in the rental, our teenagers loved having their own space in the loft. The roads getting there are rough so be sure your vehicle can handle them. No cable or smart tv log in options so be ready to unplug and unwind. .
This property exceeded my expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s a sweet, cozy cottage with all the comforts you need inside and pure paradise outside. Walking out on the Sandbar and to tiny islands were our favourite part. Fina is a very friendly and knowledgeable host and we love her dogs. Only advice- if you fly in and it’s dark- follow Fina’s instructions to get there and don’t use google maps. The roads are terrible and you think you’re driving into no where but trust the instructions! We will be back!
Our second time at this property. It never disappoints and the host is the best! This is our 2-Go spot in Exuma for now on. Can’t say enough great things about the property and the host.
Unfortunately, we were unable to make the trip this time. We had to dodge Hurricane Milton at first, then an emergency that came up hours before our rescheduled flight and we had to miss our Fall visit. Fina was ever so accommodating, understanding and wonderful as usual!!! She is an outstanding hostess and we can't wait until May to visit again for our third stay at Seabiscuit. It is such a phenomenal cottage and location loaded with everything we need to create a magical vacation!! Thank you Fina, so much, and we will see you in May, or maybe before!! Hugs to the pups!!!!!!!
Perfect place for a group that wants to get away…perfect place for a fishing group…the outdoor shower was amazing…everything worked! Thanks for having us
Seabiscuit is the most perfect little slice of paradise. This adorable cottage had everything we needed and wanted for our stay. I'm already trying to plan a return visit! Communication with Fina was easy and she provided so many helpful notes on the places to go while on Exuma.
Fina is amazing. Her little cottage type house is beautiful. The deck is perfect for relaxing, watching the sea life, swimming and anything else. Definitely a place to stay for peace and relaxing and still close to everything.
