Wasn’t suitable for us

The place is isolated, and very dark,felt scared at night. It is not mentioned that it is only a few meters away from a main highway and trucks are constant 24/7 drowning out any of the peaceful sounds we were hoping for and making it difficult to sleep. The apartment was probably lovely once but it is tired and not maintained very well. I note that the building is for sale and that would account for this. We are in our 70s so unsuitable for us.

Terrible experience and customer service!!

Starting off from after I booked and paid. There was no communication from the owner about how to check in. I messaged them on WhatsApp multiple times on my way there and gave me no response. I called and he messaged me a vague response of how the unit is on the third floor. Asked if the place was unlocked and he said yes. But the unit was locked and there was lockbox had to call him back twice to finally get the lockbox code. There was blood on a towel in the bathroom and they wouldn’t replace the towel for us just told us to use what we had. They advertise there is beach access from the property but you either have to hike through the jungle for 10 minutes or drive to the beach club and when we tried to walk on the owner said we were trespassing because it’s a national park. So there is NO beach access the property management is lying to you about that. The second shower head in the shower doesn’t work, it drips water. A bunch of lights in the unit don’t work either. There is a bat living in the ceiling between the vaults you can see it and hear it flying around at night.

Beautiful House

This was a beautiful house near the national parks and town. Would be great to rent the whole thing with a larger group. Cannot walk to beach. Short drive to Uvita beaches. Overall great stay.

Simplement parfait

L'emplacement est génial , c'est très proche de tout les plages,l'épicerie , pleins de bons restos . Le penthouse est très spacieux ,nous avons été surpris par la grandeur des pièces . Les terrasses avec grand ,une avec le spa , le prix était vraiment bon aussi en comparaison avec d'autre villa . On a literallement adoré notre séjour .

Paradise in the jungle

We loved this place, well equipped, very nice location. Lots of birds and monkeys to see, great jungle like setting with the trees around us and a stream. We would liked to have direct beach access but going through the Lenora restaurant and getting a meal there was just nice, The only issues was the internet access, if it was high speed and reliable this place would be excellent.

Beautiful Place

I had the penthouse room with the outdoor Jacuzzi. It was wonderful. The apt is spacious, beautiful and clean. Lots of monkeys hollering and birds chirping. The property is about 10k outside of Uvita. There are buses you can take to get around. If you want to go up to the mountains you're better off with a car. There's a beautiful beach next door. Dominical is about 20k away. Nice beach and cool vibe there. Katina, the mgr, was very nice and extremely helpful. She always answered your questions expediently. I needed a cab to catch a bus; she arranged it. The oven in the room wasn't working; she fixed it that day. You won't be disappointed staying here.

Beautiful, comfortable and spacious penthouse suite.

Really loved the fully equipped kitchen, the huge shower in the master bath, and open concept space. The hot tub and outside area was lovely and private! Woke to the sound of plenty of wildlife. Howler monkeys definitely nearby. Close proximity to Villa Leonor for fine dining and walk to the beach from there. Wish we could have stayed longer!
