A perfect getaway

We had a lovely 4 days at this peaceful spot. The accommodation was just as described, the hosts were very welcoming and the pool was great after days spent visiting nearby chateaux. Highly recommend

Lovely and Peaceful

We stayed three nights. The family run thé gîte and give you privacy and a gorgeous backyard to use. The pool is wonderful. The suite is eclectic and has everything you need. The house is stone so it is damp but the bedding is cozy and clothes after swimming or washing can dry outside in warm weather. We loved the family dog. He’s so friendly and adorable. We went for a walk in the town and it’s lovely.

Beautiful petite village location

We are so happy we chose Chissay-en-Touraine for our visit to the Loire Valley. It feels wonderfully away from tourists and local traffic, yet its central location is close to the best-to-see chateaus. We absolutely loved our hosts generous offer to use their very fine bikes and we were out and riding 3 different circuits of up to 19 miles through the countryside on dedicated roads and paths. The hosts, their daughter, and very playful dog gave us information, privacy and everything we needed to make our stay one of the best we’ve ever had.

12 nuits parfaites, nos 2 filles étaient ravies. Aquarium de touraine.safari train.Parfait pour nos 2 journées à beauval.Idéal pour visites(châteaux blois,chenonceau,amboise, Clos Lucé,cheverny, Montrichard, musée magie et illusion amboise, souffleur de verre amboise et visite petit train) balade canoë de chissay a chenonceau , parc des minis chateaux. Chambord avec son merveilleux spectacle. Après les visites un grand plus de profiter de la piscine!!!!!2 ème fois que nous venons 8 ans après, lieu paisible et magnifique comme disent nos filles, et un chien adorable pour leur grand plaisir et un grand merci a geraldine et Jérôme pour leur gentillesse et conseil.

Nous avons passé une semaine super en famille !Gîte idéalement placé pour visiter quelques châteaux et le zoo de Beauval.Mignon petit gîte, très propre et bien équipé, les propriétaires sont très sympas et discrets.Le gros point positif...la piscine chauffée ! Très beau séjour ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le gite. Accès à la piscine fut très apprécié par nos filles. Gite très propre. Plusieurs châteaux à proximité (Chenonceau, Amboise, etc.) Les propriétaires sont vraiment très sympathiques. Le gite est bien équipé et, parfait pour famille de 4. Notre petite famille du Québec garde un très beau souvenir de notre séjour dans cette belle région et dans ce beau gite.

Sympathique petit gite

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Géraldine et son mari. Le gîte est petit mais parfaitement équipé et conforme aux photos présentées avec un salon et table à l'extérieur. Avec la chaleur, la piscine a été très appréciée des enfants. Chissay en Touraine est très bien placée pour profiter des visites de châteaux, des forêts, des promenades à vélo le long du Cher.Merci Géraldine pour votre accueil.

Belles vacances dans la vallée du Cher

Location idéalement située pour découvrir Chenonceau, Amboise et longer le Cher en vélos.La location est bien équipée, il n'y manque rien pour se sentir bien.La piscine (chauffée) était bien agréable même avec un temps mitigé.Les propriétaires sont très agréables et discrets.En résumé de belles vacances !
