Most mayor sights are in easy walking distance. The Vienna State Opera and the pedestrian zone Kaerntner Strasse with the impressive St. Stephans Cathedral you can very easily reach in only few minutes walk ! Even Viennas biggest shopping street 'Mariahilfer Strasse' and the 'Museum district' - just short walking distance too. The Musical Theater an der Wien and the famous art gallery Vienna Secession' is located across the street, practically on the doorstep . You live right next to the famous multicultural Vienna Naschmarkt ( just across the street !! ) - a fascinating very large open market, the largest open air market in Europe! You can buy here freshest fruits and groceries from all over the world. You find there also numerous excellent restaurants (international cuisine), very relaxed coffee shops and cozy bars, nice beer gardens etc. Each Saturday with an additional very large interesting flea market. You live also only few minutes away from the central metro node Karlsplatz - very convenient - you can easely take the subway direct to the 'UNO City', the 'Schloss Schoenbrunn', the famous 'Wiener Prater', the recreation area 'Danube Island' and many more... Perfect location and apartment

This apartment had everything we needed for a 2 week stay during the festive season. It's larger than we thought, very cosy and spotlessly clean. No oven but does have dual induction hob, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, kettle and fridge. Shower is really good powerful and hot. Great free wifi included. Wardrobe which is not shown very well in the pics is fairly big and plenty of storage and hanging space. It's close to town and all attractions are within walking distance as long as you don't mind walking of course, we only caught the tram once during our 2 week stay. Overall a faultless apartment in the perfect location, we even did our clothes washing before we came home to save the hassle when we got back. Thanks Walfried & Cecilia

Wonderful place and wonderful hosts

We So enjoyed our stay at Walfried and Cecilia’s place. It was just as advertised and perfect for our three week stay in Vienna. The location was fantastic. We really enjoyed the Naschmarkt, and it provided a great place to take walks in the evening, have dinner, a drink, dessert, or all of the above. We highly recommend Walfried and Cecilia’s place. They’ve thought of all your needs and provided a very clean, comfortable, and pleasant place to stay. Walfried gave us a great introduction to the area and provided a map for our use. Thank you, Walfried and Cecilia!

Excellent host and location

I had a long-term stay at Cecilia & Walfried's excellent apartment. The location is perfect and the apartment is just the right size with all the amenities you could ask for. They were also excellent hosts, responsive to my communications and friendly and kind. I highly recommend staying here if you are in Vienna!

Great Vienna location

Extremely convenient. Within minutes walk of most city attractions. From outside the building looks very plain but the apartment is just as advertised and everything is updated and spotless. Gracious host checked us in and was very accommodating. We would stay here again on any return to Vienna. Great value given the location and the actual apartment. Wouldn’t have changed a thing!

Lovely studio in center of Vienna

This property is extremely clean and well set up for travelers. Cecilia even provided milk for our coffee because we arrived on a holiday when the stores were closed. This apartment was an easy walk to many of the great buildings and museums of Vienna. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would love to stay at your apartment when we return to Vienna.
