We had a wonderful stay at Serge and Valerie's house. The house is very well equipped with everything that we needed. It was spacious and clean too. The house is walking distance from Argentat town centre and grocery stores. We visited Beaulieu which has a great swimming area on the river and you can launch your own paddleboards and canoes. Serge and Valerie were very welcoming and met us on arrival with their daughter. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Excellent location for all amenities. Pool was great to have a swim pre breakfast and post day out discovering the area. The house was clean and tidy, everything was provided for a comfortable self catering holiday. Enjoyed picking fresh figs from the garden, delicious! Great house and location

The house is perfectly situated not far from Argentat sur Dordogne, in very easy walking distance and so we were able to enjoy the benefits of the town without having to drive. The house is lovely and the pool is amazing. It was very hot in the first week we were there so struggled a little with the heat at night but in the second week it cooled down so was much more comfortable. The main room seemed much larger than in the photos so that was good. The photos don’t really do the place justice as the bedrooms have more furniture than you can see in them and are nicer than the photos. Serge, Valarie and family met us on arrival for check in and showed us how everything worked. They are very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and we had a great two weeks. Thanks.

Situation très agréable au cœur de la verdure, au bord de la Dordogne. Les propriétaires, Serge et Valérie, sont très sympathiques et accueillants. La maison est équipée de tout le confort nécessaire et la piscine et le jardin sont superbes. Un incontournable pour ceux qui recherchent un environnement calme et paisible. A great property in a beautiful location

A great property in a beautiful location. The setting really makes it, with the extensive garden leading to the River Dordogne. Great for outside dining and appreciating the local wildlife. We particularly liked that we could walk into the town, along the river banks and by the local nature reserve. There is a very spacious sitting/dining area inside including a very well equipped kitchen for self catering. We would highly recommend this property. The owners were friendly and helpful on arrival and in all communication. The town of Argentat is very pretty but not too touristy and there are plenty of other places to visit within an hour's drive.

Nous avons passé un moment inoubliable. La maison est d'une propreté irréprochable. Elle est tout à fait adaptée et sécurisée lorsque l'on a des enfants en bas ages et très spacieuse. Le mobilier, literie ... sont de grandes qualités. Il ne manque rien en équipement. Le jardin est grand et donne sur la Dordogne. C'est un petit coin de paradis. Les propriétaires sont disponibles et très agréables. Nous reviendrons à Argentat et obligatoirement dans cette maison.

mooie omgeving en heerlijk rustig

Deze woning is mooi en goed gelegen aan de Dordogne een mooie grote tuin met fruitbomen en wijnranken het enig nadeel geen douche maar een bad zonder badscherm dus alles wordt nat, dat is voor wat ouderen best wel lastig.

Nous avions loué la maison de M et Mme MORICEAU pour une semaine fin juin, à trois couples d'amis. L'accueil a été très sympathique, et nous avons trouvé un belle maison moderne en parfait état et très propre. Le cadre au bord de la Dordogne, avec son grand terrain arboré et fleuri, bien entretenu était très agréable. Nous avons aussi bien aimé la situation sur une rue en impasse, très calme, proche du bourg et des bords de la Dordogne, et la possibilité de rentrer nos trois voitures sur le terrain. Schönes Haus - tolle Lage - nette Vermieter

Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus, ausgestattet mit allem Notwendigen, ein wunderschöner Garten und eine tolle Lage am Fluß - was will man mehr für einen gelungenen Urlaub. Das Städtchen ist hübsch und alles ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Und in der Umgebung gibt es viel Sehenswertes in einer wunderschönen Landschaft zu bestaunen. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und verraten gerne ihre Geheimtipps für Ausflüge oder gute Restaurants. Da bei uns Schecks nicht mehr üblich sind, zahlten wir die Kaution bar - statt der beschriebenen 600,00€ wollten die Vermieter nur 150,00€ - das fanden wir sehr entgegenkommend. Ein kleiner Hinweis für alle, die vielleicht wie wir auch, nicht so sorgfältig die Beschreibung lesen: Es gibt WLan - aber leider kein SAT TV (nur einige französiche Sender) Strom wird extra abgerechnet (nur eine kleine Pauschale an KWh ist inbegriffen) Eine Garage ist zwar da - aber nicht für das Auto ;-) es ist der Raum für Gartenmöbel, Waschmaschine, Tischtennisplatte, usw. Wir haben Bettwäsche ( sehr sinnvoll, wenn man zu Hause nicht ebenfalls Betten in französcher Größe hat) und Handtücher dazu bestellt. die Küchenwäsche ist ausreichend - Handtücher bekommt man aber nur 2 pro Person: 1 Duschtuch, 1 Handtuch - das dürfte gerne etwas großzügiger sein. Unsere Zusammenfassung nach einem schönen Urlaub: Sehr zu empfehlen :-) ........... Herzliche Grüße an die Vermieter vom Bodensee!

Une semaine de repos et de calme dans une maison très confortable.

Nous avons passé une semaine idéale dans cette maison très propre et confortable. Tout était réuni pour réussir le séjour: la literie est excellente et il ne manque rien. Les balades aux alentours sont nombreuses et très intéressantes, nous n'avons pas eu le temps de tout faire. la ville d'Argentat en elle-même est agréable et on peut s'y promener ou faire les courses sans prendre la voiture. Le jardin, très grand, donne sur la Dordogne et le calme de la rue (une voie sans issue) est impressionnant. Nos hôtes sont charmants et discrets, le prix est étonnement bas pour les prestations offertes, c'est vraiment une adresse à retenir et nous sommes certains de vouloir y retourner à l'avenir.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable en famille. Argentat-sur-Dordogne est une jolie petite ville avec toutes les commodités nécessaires pour un séjour avec des enfants. Nombreux sites touristiques à visiter aux alentours. Le marché nocturne d'Argentat le mercredi soir est agréable (musique et artisanat). Pour les fruits et légumes, ne pas hésiter à aller au marché du jeudi matin où les producteurs locaux y sont réunis. Quant aux propriétaires, ils sont très sympas !

The holiday house is offering lots of space, with a very big garden to relax, sport or play. It is very clean, and provides facilities like dish washer, good kitchen, heating and extra's, like a table tennis. Argentat is a nice city with old buildings, nice views and a promenade along the Dordogne with restaurants. Within 50 km driving you can visit lots of atractions, like cities, caves, natural parks and others.
