We are always searching for a Log Cabin by the lake to stay in and this one was perfect! Views of the lake were wonderful and the cabin was very comfortable. Our stay was in March so we made good use of the wood burning stove. Delightful! Kitchen was well equipped and owner was very nice to work with.
Highly recommend this property!

Perfect lake getaway. Secluded, yet close to most amenities. Beautiful lake, well kept grounds, lots of things to do. Even close enough to spend the day at the ocean. The fishing was great and the kids loved the kayaks.
What a beautiful cabin and property! So special, wonderful memories made! Loved kayaking and sitting out on the deck and lawn. House was well equipped and stocked. Great time had by all!
Our family wanted to have a lakeside stay to unwind for a bit, and this cabin definitely delivered. It's far enough away from other buildings and separated by enough trees to not even see them, and there's plenty of shade as the result. The scenery of just looking out on the lake is great. The lake itself is separated from the house by a nice sized lawn, there's a small pier and two canoes are available for those that want to use them.
As far as the house itself, it has all the ameneties one would need, and while it's a relatively normal thing, having very up to date higher end washer and drying was of big help on a longer stay like ours. If I were to nitpick, the ceiling fans could have use vacuuming for the dust on them, and there's some spider webs especially on the screened porch, but overall the house was clean and comfortable.
The screened porch was great during the first half of the day when it shaded from the sun or when it was raining, as we could still be out in the fresh air without having to be indoors. The deck facing the lake was great all the way up until late evening for enjoying the views and various wildlife like the family of rabbits that lived under the house.
The property manager was readily available to answer any questions and address any problems - we had one minor issue that resolved itself, but the response was very quick.
Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Thanks Terry & Rich for a wonderful weekend! We had a great stay! The place was very clean and had all of the necessities nearby. It was a lovely cottage equipped with everything one can need. The communication was super easy and quick and the place looked even better than it does on the pictures. We loved waking up everyday and seeing that 360 view. Our two year old loved running around outside and walking along the beach and dock. We enjoyed fishing and each day caught white perch, catfish and blue gil for us to see then released them back to the pond. Overall the energy and ambience was tranquil and we truly enjoyed every moment. We were also thrilled to find a local farmstand and meet the local farmer and his family, we had the best eggs, veggies and fruit. We absolutely recommend families to stay there! Hosts were very accommodating and quick to respond with any questions. It was truly a dream family vacation not far from our home on Cape Cod. We are excited to return again soon.
This Lakehouse is absolutely awesome. Super well appointed with everything you could possibly need from games to bug spray and sunblock to myriad kitchen supplies. The setting is fantastic and super private with the house jutting out on a point of sorts. We especially enjoyed the outdoor fire pit. Can’t wait to return in the summer!!!
We have stayed in many VRBO properties over the past few years and this was our absolute favorite! Everything was perfect, from the owner’s communication, to the location, to the beautiful home. We felt like we were away from it all but loved being close enough to stores to run out for small things and groceries. The home is so much better than pictures could show, cozy yet spacious with comfortable beds and furniture and literally everything you could want right at your fingertips all thoughtfully provided by your gracious host.
The pond was beautiful, warm, and clean! The kids were even able to splash around by themselves when the adults didn’t want to suit up thanks to the huge shallow sandy area in front of the cabin. We enjoyed the row boat and brought our own kayaks and spent all day on and in the water.
We already can’t wait to go back next summer! Thanks for an amazing week!
The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway. The property was beautiful and clean. Communication was great and Terry went above and beyond to make it easy. There were 5 of us that went and it allowed for all of us to have our own space, yet the perfect space to gather and enjoy each others company. We already are planning our return!!
We enjoyed our long weekend stay at this lovely, cozy, and quiet cabin on a lake. The property had everything we needed and was perfect for our small family group but could definitely accommodate more people. We loved taking in the morning lake views, preparing warm meals in the kitchen, and playing board games at the large table at night. Would recommend to others seeking a peaceful getaway!
The cabin and property are very nice. We had a great time boating on Pachaug Pond, hiking in Pachaug Forest, sitting around the fire pit in the evenings and watching the sunrise over the lake in the morning. Highly recommended.
This property is lovely. The house has a very cozy log cabin feel. It was clean, even the floors which is unusual... My kids walked around in white socks and they were still white! The kitchen was fully stocked and beds were comfy enough. The backyard is amazing. Pond is beautiful, fire pit is great... Would be especially great in the summer. The only negative is that the beds weren't made and we had to make them ourselves. This was especially difficult to do with the top bunks. Definitely not what you want to do when you finally arrive, but not too big a deal. I messed up on my dates somehow and the owner was nice and accomodating. Overall I would definitely return.
From morning sunrise on the deck, to sunset kayaking at sunset, this was the ideal setting for a relaxing visit. This house has a well equipped kitchen making meal times a breeze. Outdoor and indoor games were also on hand, providing entertainment when we took a break from swimming and fishing. The firepit was a great place for the family to come together in the evening. Great setting for some family time.
This was our second time staying at the cabin and we had a wonderful time. With so much to do outside and a full kitchen, we were able to have a great vacation even in spite of COVID-19. Thank you so much for making everything easy, clean and enjoyable!
The place was incredible. The view and property inside and outside could not have been better. My family stayed for 4 days and enjoyed our time inside and outside. We stayed outside by the fire pit for the majority of one of the days. It was a great escape.
We stayed in the cabin on the pond! It was perfect! there was more than enough room for our family of 5! easy check in and check out! Everything you need is there just being food and clothes. Could easily fit two families. The bunk room and dock were bonuses as they were not in the listing when we booked. We are already thinking about when we could do it again! So great to have shared your home Thank you!!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were visiting do to the passing of my grandmother and this was a great quiet place to come to in between everything. It was clean, convenient, and had everything we needed.
