About this property

Quiet and secure in the gated community of Westgreen Townhomes. End unit located across from the pool. The pool is not heated, but a wonderful place to go and soak up the beautiful Arizona sunshine. Our townhome is comfortable and includes 2 full piece bathrooms and a walk in closet in each of the bedrooms. Fubo TV and Netflix and wifi is available. Washer and dryer are available in the unit as well. Outside is a private patio with a BBQ. Our complex is located only a 10 minute drive to the Westgate Entertainment Centre, which is home to the Arizona Cardinals NFL Team and many restaurants and theatres. Ample shopping is also only a 10 minute drive at the Arrowhead Mall. Every restaurant you can imagine is located in the area as well. Downtown Phoenix is about a 20 minute drive. Take in a basketball game or a baseball game. Hiking trails are at the end of Olive Avenue at the White Tank Mountains. You will find everything you want nearby, but taking day trips around the area is fun too! Check out Goldfield Goldmine and Tortilla Flats out near Apache Junction in the Superstition Mountains as you travel through the Tonto Forest. Check out the quaint little town of Wickenburg and enjoy a great lunch! Head up to the red rocks of Sedona for the day and find some unique gifts and souvenirs. The possibilities are endless and you most certainly will run out of time!

Quiet gated community

Located in a clean quite community close to pleanty of stores and activities. Lori was great to work with. Thank you so much for leaving plenty of supplies for our stay. Would definitely stay again !

Thanksgiving trip to Pieoria

Property was clean, nicely decorated, and furnished with everything we needed for our 6 night stay including kitchen amenities that helped us have a nice Thanksgiving away from home. Very happy with location, parking and proximity to activities in the Phoenix area. Owner was easy to work with and left very clear instructions on check in and check out.

First Time in Arizona

We chose this spot for our first retirement trip. We had a wonderful time hiking in a different place everyday, and we still have more places to visit next year. Enjoyed the Super Bowl Festivities, the place was beautiful, well-stocked and close to everything we wanted to do.

Long story short: this place is awesome.

My husband and I are considering moving to AZ from WI, so I stayed here a month to get a better sense of the area. Honestly, the only bad thing I can say is I loved this place so much that it was VERY hard to leave. Time went by WAY too fast. The location is perfect - minutes from Westgate and other fun entertainment, a quick hop on the 101 to surrounding areas, and a close drive to multiple parks, restaurants, gyms and grocery stores. It's quiet and the neighbors are friendly. It's was a bit too chilly to use the outdoor pool during my stay, but it's very nice and well kept - would be great on hot summer days. I had a designated covered parking spot (another huge bonus for summer), plus there was a couple visitor parking spots to use for when a few family members visited. I had everything I could ever need (and more) for supplies - from nice dishes, both a Kuerig and old-fashioned coffee maker, pots/pans to soft towels, extra bedding and clothes hangers. Even had a small propane grill on the patio - great for family dinners or meal prep. Full-size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer and dryer all worked great. Two TVs (in living room and one of the bedrooms) were both equipped with Amazon Fire Sticks. The wifi was great too - I work remotely and had no issues with video calls or just everyday computer/phone connections. Last, but definitely not least, Lori was amazing to work with. She's super responsive and helpful, which made the entire reservation process simple and seemless. We will definitely plan to stay here again in the near future, at least until we buy our own place in AZ, and then we'll recommend it to our friends/family who come visit - WAY better than a hotel. Can't wait to go back!

We came to Arizona once for a visit and stayed in Scottsdale. We loved the state and the people here are so friendly and helpful. We discussed buying a property near things and events that we love to do and ended up purchasing this foreclosed property in Peoria. The entire condo has been completely redone on the inside (we wanted to preserve as much of the old Saltillo tile which you will see inside and out). We are country folks from Saskatchewan Canada, so here we have the best of both worlds!

Why they chose this property

We chose Peoria and the Westgreen area as we are so close to the Westgate Entertainment District. This is home to the Cardinals Stadium. There are many restaurants, theaters and shopping here and just a great place to socialize. We are golfers and there are a dozen courses open to the public around here and all are unique and beautiful! When we come back at the end of the day, it is quiet and we look out onto a well-maintained green space with trees and shrubs. There is traffic outside the gates, but people here are generally very courteous and patient drivers...I would recommend a gps in case you want to take day trips or find that certain shop or restaurant!

What makes this property unique

The things we saw most often in this state are the Adobe type homes which we don't see in Saskatchewan, so this townhome pretty much had us as soon as we drove into the complex. Our HOA takes a great deal of pride in the care of the complex and it is clean and neat. Garbage and recycling bins are located in each of the parking lots. This is not a retirement community, nor is it a vacation hot-spot. People live and work here so it is pretty quiet especially during the day. We have met some of our neighbors and again, everyone is so friendly!
