Cute cabin in a great neighborhood
We had a relaxing stay. The house is well stocked and walking distance to many things including the rubicon trail and chambers landing beach/ bar. We unfortunately went on a rainy summer weekend, but the fireplace and hot tub kept us warm.

Perfect week long getaway
This was our second time staying at Homewood Haven and we couldn’t have had a better trip. The house was clean, well stocked and provided the perfect setup for a much needed week long getaway. Already looking forward to when we can return.

Great Family House
We enjoyed our stay at Homewood Haven, was a great set up for our family with the hot tub, back yard games and open floor plan. The location was great, central on the west side of the lake to many different things. We never did walk to the beach from the house as I wasn't sure where beach access was and just easier to drive with all our people and kids. Nice house, all set up for our stay - only thing we really had to get was toilet paper since they only provide a couple rolls. Recommend!

Lovely home
This property was beautiful, clean and well cared for. Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked, with ice maker & coffee grinder. Plenty of towels, & a nice hot tub. We had two bears come through the yard while playing the corn hole game that was provided, that was exciting! Sue responded very quickly to any communication. Great host, left wine & cookies too!

Great stay 20 mins south of Tahoe City
Our stay with kids age 6 & 8 in July '23 was great. The place is clean (including the hot tub!) and comfy. Sue was easy to communicate with and cared to make our stay great. Some highlights: The kitchen was great & well stocked for cooking. Beds were comfortable. The location is in a peaceful & beautiful residential neighborhood not far off the main lake road. A couple things to know about the area: Note there's pretty bad cell service (Verizon) in the couple miles around the house/that part of the lake for some reason. It can also be a pretty crowded part of Lake Tahoe -- but that was probably especially exaggerated on July 4th week for us. We usually went 20 mins north to Tahoe City or other areas a bit further for restaurants/beaches/etc. Chamberlain beach is in walking distance but we found it so crowded. Much better to other beaches for more relaxing beach experience Overall I definitely recommend staying here!
